New Age Of Summoners

’Szz’

A small dart came out of the tube-like artifact and entered into the sponge-like head of the five elemental pentapus.

’Thud’

As soon as the dart entered its body, the pentapus fell to the ground.

’Ding,

The host’s contracted spirit beast, five elemental pentapus, was poisoned with a high-level heaven grade poison.

’Ding,

The five elemental pentapus is going into a deep sleep for the next five minutes until the poison effect wears off.

When he saw the first system notification, Ajax was shocked for a second and became a little anxious.

However, after seeing the second system notification, Ajax heaved a sigh of relief.

’Where did he go?’

After sending the five elemental pentapus back into his inner world and by the time he looked back the old fox guardian was not in his position.

’There he is.’

Ajax looked at his sides and found where the old fox guardian was.

Currently, the old fox guardian had already transformed into a grey furred fox and in his mouth, Ajax could see the struggling three-eyed ghost fox.

’Damn it...when did he get Ghost?’

Ajax cursed when he saw that the three-eyed ghost fox which was on his shoulder earlier was now in the mouth of the grey furred fox.

”Looks like I need to use full force.”

Ajax was a little worried about Ghost’s safety; however, after thinking back to the fox guardian’s story about Ghost’s father, he knew that the grey furred fox will not kill Ghost.

’So, he wants to trade Ghost for the items in his father’s hands.’

After coming to that conclusion, he didn’t waste any time, he summoned one of his elemental spirits, ”Cerauno, come out and kill that grey furred fox in one shot.”

Even though Cerauno was still at level 2 elite elemental spirit general realm, Ajax had enough confidence in him that he could insta-kill the level 8 elite general fox guardian with his skills.

”It’s a piece of cake, summoning master.”

Cerauno revealed a confident smile as he selected the target and without wasting any more time, he used multiple skills in a single second.

’Skill enhancement’

’Weapon formation’

’Weapon enchantment’

’Weapon merge’

With the use of each skill, there were changes in front of Cerauno.

First skill used to increase all his skills by one level.

Later, he created hundreds of weapons made up of lightning before merging them into a thin but long needle.

’Go.’

Since the grey furred fox had already run too much distance, Cerauno chose a needle which is the lightest weapon he could create by merging hundreds of weapons.

’Looks like I have another three minutes before that peak rank 6 spirit beast wakes. I can reach my secret hideout by that time.’

As for the fox guardian who was currently in his beast form was feeling a little relieved because things went smoother than he thought while capturing the three-eyed ghost fox.

Moreover, he was running towards his secret hideout which can even block the senses of a peak rank 6 spirit beast. So, he was thinking about this plan and making adjustments for any unknown variables like Ajax.

However, who would have thought that Ajax would not run after him and let him run away.

’It’s not his fault. If I had no knowledge about those items and my strongest spirit beast fell down, then I would only worry about the spirit beast and would not bother about other things.’

When he thought about this, the fox guardian was proud of himself.

’Swoosh’

’Puchi’

’Swoosh’

While the fox guardian was feeling proud of his own plan, a sharp needle with a length of more than 2 meters pierced through his heart.

The needle came out of the fox guardian and continued to fly another five hundred meters before disappearing into thin air.

The fox guardian thought today was his luckiest day; however, the things he thought of getting disappeared the moment the lightning needle pierced through his heart.

”Not bad, Cerauno. Compared to a huge lightning spear, this lightning needle is much faster and it can travel double the distance.”

As for Ajax, he didn’t even bother to move from his place as he looked at the fox guardian’s dead body which was lying around two kilometers from him.

After seeing the speed of the lightning needle, Ajax praised Cerauno regarding it.

’Swoosh’

While he was talking to Cerauno, Ajax ran towards the dead body to pick the three-eyed ghost fox.

’Swoosh’

’Swoosh’

However, before they could even reach, the ghost fox teleported itself multiple times to reach them.

”Sorry. I was a little careless earlier.”

As soon as the ghost fox fell into his arms, Ajax caressed the smooth black fur and apologized.

”Master, it’s okay. But can you help me while I find my father?”

The ghost fox shook its head and asked him in a low voice.

”Don’t worry. I will help you.”

Ajax didn’t have any parents. So, at least he should help his contracted spirit beast in finding his father.

”Do you have any idea where your father might be hiding?”

After thinking for a moment, Ajax asked the ghost fox whether it had any idea about his father’s hiding place.

”I think I know a couple of places which are near to each other; however, if we run to those places, it will take at least 12 hours.”

The ghost fox nodded its small head to Ajax’s question and gave a rough approximation to reach the possible hiding places for the ghost’s fox.

”Let’s go there and check for ourselves. Let’s hope we find your father in one of those places.”

Ajax nodded his head and decided to rush to those places because he needed to complete this mission of conquering the western fox lands within five more days.

As for why he can’t use Twilight to fly to those places because it would be too high profile.

”Also, Cerauno, transform into human form and retract your elemental spirit presence. I want no one to sense that you are an elemental spirit until I say.”

He gave an order to Ceruano before walking to the humanoid fox guardian’s dead body.

After the fox guardian was killed, his body transformed from the spirit beast form to his original humanoid form.

’Spirit stones, healing pills, random talismans and an insignia?’

Ajax checked the items in the space ring he got from the dead fox guardian and continuously shook his head until he found a grey-coloured insignia.

”I can use this insignia to stop attracting attention in the western fox lands.”

Since he can’t use the ghost fox tribe’s insignia and if he didn’t show any tribe’s insignia, then he would be creating another attraction. So, he decided to use the insignia of the grey furred fox tribe.

”Let’s go.”

Soon, Ajax and Cerauno, who was currently in human form, rushed in a particular direction under the guidance of the ghost fox.

....

After Ajax and Cerauno left that place, a few humanoid foxes appeared.

”Tribe leader, someone killed our guardian.”

One of the fox men shouted at a huge fox man while checking the dead body of the fox guardian killed by Ajax.

”Who dares to kill my tribe’s guardian.”

When the tribe leader saw the dead body, he shouted with an enraged look on his face.
