New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1899  Tensed Rulers

Even though Ajax was confident in invading the other regions of the Floating Island in his current condition, he was not interested in it.

Instead, he was interested in the Golden City in his new region.

Hence, he hurriedly flew to the Golden City under the guidance of the Spirit of the Floating Island.

….

[The youngest ruler of the Floating Island has successfully invaded the Fire Region and defeated that regionʼs ruler]

[The youngest ruler now owns two regions in the Floating Island]

While Ajax was flying towards the Golden City, the spirit of the Floating Island informed about the result of the fight between Ajax and Aveline.

In the Floating Island, the ruler of each region has the privilege of having a spirit of the Floating Island that informs the rulers about the events and other things happening in the Floating Island.

Even though each ruler has a spirit of the Floating Island, in reality, there is only one spirit of the Floating Island, and all the spirits these rulers have could be considered clones or a part of the main spirit.

Moreover, as the spirit of the Floating Island, it knows everything that is happening there, and thus, the rulers could get to know everything from their personalized spirit of the Floating Island. Conditions apply.

”What? Aveline lost?”

The rulers of the three regions were shocked to hear that, and they started asking for more details about the fight.

[The new ruler has used only one Divine Rule, and it was the Divine Dark Rule]

[However, he had three powerful contracted spirit beasts that have one, two and three Divine Rules, respectively, that took down Avelineʼs special army on their own]

[Also, the new ruler used a unique skill and instantly revived two of his Contracted Spirit Beasts]

The spirit of the Floating Island briefly explained the important things to the rulers, and with each new thing they learned about Ajax, they became more shocked.

Among them, the one thing that shocked them most was Ajaxʼs ability to receive his contracted spirit beasts.

It was because reviving skills are not normal and can be seen everywhere and whenever they want. And those who have such skills should not be messed with.

ʼItʼs good that the new ruler didnʼt use his rulership to challenge Aveline; otherwise, we would still be clueless about him.ʼ

Even though they were shocked at Ajaxʼs abilities, they were happy to get the information about Ajax.

When an official duel between the rulers happens, other than the result of the official duel, nothing about the rulersʼ information would be revealed.

Not only did Ajax physically enter the Fire Region of the Floating Island and even get his prowess suppressed, but he also won against Aveline, which shows he was very powerful.

ʼIf he challenges us for an official duel, then I donʼt think I can win against him.ʼ

This was the only thought in the heads of all the rulers after learning some new things about Ajax.

All the rulers on the Floating Island have more or less strength, similar to Aveline.

There might be some rulers with more trump cards; however, they could guess Ajax didnʼt use his full strength to kill Aveline.

Since Ajax could kill Aveline very easily despite having the regional restriction on him, if they challenged the rulers, it would be a piece of cake for Ajax to defeat them because there would be no restrictions in an official duel.

Also, Ajax could issue an official challenge to any of them; however, they could not do the same to them because Ajax had just finished a battle and became a ruler of a new region.

So, they were all tense because if Ajax issued a challenge right now, they were not ready.

ʼLetʼs hurry up and make preparations.ʼ

ʼI think I should surrender before he could issue a challenge.ʼ

ʼI am not confident in defeating Aveline, and since the new ruler could defeat Aveline easily, he could do the same to me whether it was an official duel or an unofficial duel.ʼ

Except for one ruler, the two other rulers thought it was better to surrender to this new ruler named Ajax before he could issue them the challenge.

Once the challenge was issued, one of the rulers had to die, and since they were not confident in defeating Aveline, they were not confident in defeating Ajax either.

Hence, they decided to surrender.

ʼLetʼs not waste any time and do it.ʼ

The two rulers sat in their luxurious villas and kept their egos and pride aside before making that decision.

Of course, the two rulers were making independent decisions and were completely unaware of each otherʼs decisions.

”Spirit, I want to surrender to the new ruler of the Fire and Metal Region. Can you ask him whether he wants to accept me?”

Once they made their decisions, these two rulers didnʼt waste any time as they asked the Spirit of the Floating Island to convey their message to Ajax.

[Are you sure about it? Once you surrender, you will become someone elseʼs subordinate and have to listen to his orders.]

Just like it asked Ajax multiple times regarding his physical attack on the Fire Region, the Spirit of the Floating Island did the same thing to the two rulers who wanted to surrender to Ajax.

”Yes. We are sure about it.”

As the oldest rulers of the Floating Island, they had spent a lot of time with the Spirit of the Floating Island and knew about its behaviour.

So, they didnʼt think much about it and seriously nodded their heads.

ʼI hope he accepts our surrender and lets us become his subordinates.ʼ

From the Spirit of the Floating Island, they learned that Aveline was willing to surrender to Ajax; however, Ajax didnʼt accept his surrender and killed Aveline and all the inhabitants of the Fire Region.

They didnʼt want the same thing to happen to them or their inhabitants and hoped Ajax would accept their surrender.

As for the third ruler, he was busy making preparations in case Ajax issued a challenge to him.
