New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1885  Infernal Earth Behemoth (2)

[Twilight Cannon]

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼBoomʼ

[Inferno Earth Bombs]

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼBoomʼ

Both Twilight and the Infernal Earth Behemoth used one skill after another to attack each other and most of their attacks ended up in a stalemate.

ʼHuh? Why is Twilight taking so long to defeat this unevolved spirit beast which was on its last leg?ʼ

On the other hand, Ajax raised his brows seeing that Twilight was taking a lot more time than he expected.

The reason Ajax summoned Twilight to take care of the unevolved spirit beast was so that it could be killed in a short time.

However, from the looks of it, Ajax felt that he had greatly underestimated the unevolved spirit beast.

Even after fighting for five minutes, Twilight was not able to kill it, making Ajax a little surprised.

ʼNo wonder, the spirit of the Floating Island was warning me about these unevolved spirit beasts. They are as powerful as the rulers just based on their tenacity.ʼ

Eventually, Ajax accepted the fact that the unevolved spirit beasts were really powerful and were on par with the rulers.

ʼHowever, the concept of Divine Rules changes things.ʼ

Nevertheless, Ajax still believed that the Rulers of the various regions of the Floating Island still held an upper hand compared to the unevolved spirit beasts who had less comprehension in awakening their Divine Rules.

”Twilight, use one of your Divine Rules and finish it.”

Ajax still has a region to conquer and revenge to avenge. Thus, he ordered the Divine Twilight Destructive Dragon to kill it as soon as possible.

”Brother Ajax, if I use a Divine Rule, it will also use it and I believe it would take even longer to defeat it that way.”

However, Twilight didnʼt follow Ajaxʼs orders blindly as he informed Ajax about the Infernal Earth Behemothʼs Divine Rules.

”What? It awakened a Divine Rule?”

Ajax was surprised for a moment and looked at the Infernal Earth Behemoth in a different light and at the same time, he finally understood how the Infernal Earth Behemoth was able to withstand his official skill [Absolute Zero Annihilation].

When a cultivator awakens a Divine Rule, his body naturally undergoes some minute yet powerful changes.

Even when they didnʼt activate their Divine Rules, all their attacks contained a small amount of Divine Ruleʼs power and at the same time, it also increased the defence power of the cultivator.

Thus, there was a clear difference between a cultivator who awakened a Divine Rule and who didnʼt.

ʼSo, its power is coming from its Divine Rule.ʼ

Now, Ajax learned from Twilight that the unevolved spirit beast in front of him had awakened a Divine Rule and when he thought about how the spirit beast was still surviving and even fought Twilight on equal terms, he was no longer surprised.

”Brother Ajax, itʼs not just one Divine Rule but two. Whatʼs more, both Divine Rules are awakened by 10 percent each.”

Twilight corrected Ajaxʼs words by saying that the Infernal Earth Behemoth had awakened two Divine Rules, each with 10 percent of awakening.

ʼWhat? Two Divine Rules with 10 percent of awakening each?ʼ

Ajax was already surprised to hear that the unevolved spirit beast had awakened a Divine Rule and now, he learned that it had awakened two and each one of its Divine Rules had an awakening of 10 percent.

”No wonder, it was on equal terms with Twilight and if Twilight activates his Divine Rules, the spirit beast will also do the same.”

Considering the duration for each Divine Rule for 5 minutes, it would take at least 10 minutes for Twilight to kill the Infernal Earth Behemoth.

Thus, Twilight was not activating the Divine Rule because as long as the unevolved spirit beast didnʼt activate its Divine Rule, it would be a matter of time before Twilight killed it.

On the other hand, the Infernal Earth Behemoth could tell that the opponent in front of it was a Divine Dragon with at least two Divine Rules because Dragons were known for their comprehension speed and whatʼs more, Divine Dragons are the most powerful ones among all dragons.

Thus, it was also not activating the Divine Rules because once the other side activates the Divine Rules, the fight will be over in less than 10 minutes.

In short, both sides were being careful and at the same time, respecting one another in their fight.

ʼIf I didnʼt use the [Absolute Zero Annilhilation], then it would have been trouble for even Twilight to deal with it.ʼ

Finally, Ajax understood what the Spirit of the Floating Island had warned him about and nodded his head.

”Fine…take your own time and kill it.”

After thinking for a moment, Ajax decided to wait for ten minutes and let Twilight kill the Infernal Earth Behemoth without using the Divine Rules.

[Dark Destructive Blast]

[Divine Dragon Roar]

[Dragon Claw Strike]

[Blessing of Fire and Earth]

[Fiery Earth Spikes]

[Rapid Tentacle Strikes]

The two sides continued to fight for a little more than ten minutes and without much surprise, the Infernal Earth Behemoth could not win against Twilight and fell to the ground.

ʼDing,

The hostʼs contracted spirit beast has successfully killed the Infernal Earth Behemoth.

Finally, the system notification that Ajax was waiting for appeared in his head, making him heave a sigh of relief.

”Brother Ajax, I am done with it. Where is the next target?”

As someone who always likes to fight, Twilight asked about his next target because he knew that Ajax was going to take revenge on some powerful being.

So, Twilight was also excited about it and asked Ajax.

”Spirit of the Floating Island, come out and guide me.”

As for Ajax, he called the Spirit of the Floating Island, asking him to guide him to the Fire Region.

ʼSwooshʼ

[I am here]

In the next second, the light orb appeared and congratulated Ajax for killing his opponent who was ready to guide him.

”Brother Ajax, I saw these two crystals come out of the Infernal Earth Behemothʼs corpse.”

However, they were stopped by Twilight who gave Ajax the two shining crystals that he collected from the corpse.
