Chapter 1014: Invasion Starts

# Bonus chapter for Dragon.

Without wasting any time, he peeked out of the cave.

ʼHoly heavens.ʼ

Ajax was shocked to see the brown cloud filled with millions of devourer eagles in the distance.

Even though it was not his first time seeing such a huge number of devourer eagles, the aura emitted by them was dense.

Currently, Ajax was around 10 kilometers away from the barren mountains but still, he could sense a terrifying aura emitted by the convocation of devourer eagles.

ʼThere birds are just low-level ones, should I reconsider my plan?ʼ

Ajax frowned after seeing the aura emitted by the devourer eagles.

....

In the center of the barren mountains,

”Everyone, are you ready for the invasion?”

The 100-meter huge devourer eagle king asked his minions in a loud voice.

ʼScreechʼ

In reply to his words, all the devourer eagles screeched at once shaking the barren mountains along with the underground cave that Ajax and little blue were staying in.

”So, letʼs start.”

Getting the reply he wanted from his minion, the devourer eagle king looked at his generals who also nodded their heads back at him before making his huge wings into a round shape in front of him.

Everyone was watching their king with excited looks on their faces and waiting for the portal to open soon.

ʼSwooshʼ

It didnʼt take much time before a small portal around the size of a single human fist appeared in front of the devourer eagle king.

If Ajax was to see it, he would have thought, ʼHow the hell are they going to pass through such a small portal?ʼ

However, within no time, the small fist-size portal started growing and became as big as the devourer eagle king himself who was around 100 meters in height.

ʼDid he open the portal?ʼ

Even though Ajax could not see the portal from his place, he could sense the dense fluctuation of the essence of nature in the direction.

ʼDing,

Reminding the host, the portal to the other world is opened.

Since Ajax asked the system to inform him when the portal was opened, it followed its duty and informed Ajax.

ʼGood. Now, all I have to do is wait until everyone enters the portal.ʼ

Ajax was not in a hurry to execute his plan as he wanted all the devourer eagles to enter the portal.

According to his assumptions, the devourer eagle king and his generals would enter the portal at last. So, he was waiting for the other devourer eagles to leave.

”Everyone, our invasion starts now. Devour everything. Donʼt leave a single thing behind.”

The devourer eagle king shouted at his minions and ordered them to enter the portal.

ʼScreechʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

With a screech, all the devourer eagles rushed into the portal without thinking much.

It took not more than a minute for more than 100 million devourer eagles to enter the other world through the portal.

ʼLetʼs go.ʼ

After everyone left, the devourer eagle king and his generals entered with serious looks on their faces.

For the devourer eagle king, this invasion was very important as it would help him become a King realm spirit beasts.

As for the devourer eagle generals, they got all the pointers they needed regarding the devourer law and all they have to do is find a powerful prey to follow what they learned.

ʼSwooshʼ

Soon, everyone entered the portal leaving an empty world behind.

ʼDamn it...they were much faster than I thought.ʼ

As for Ajax, he was shocked at the speed at which everyone entered the portal and cursed them.

”Little blue, I will be going through the portal. You can do whatever you want until I come back.”

Since there was no one in the devourer eagle kingʼs world, Ajax didnʼt speak through the voice transmission; instead, he directly spoke to the spirit crane before rushing towards the portal.

Because he didnʼt know how long the portal would last. So, he used the first and second effects of the ʼLightning cloud stepsʼ to reach the portal within a minute.

ʼHuf hufʼ

ʼThank god, it is still open.ʼ

Without wasting any time, he jumped into the portal without thinking anything.

.....

on the other side of the portal,

The world that the devourer eagle king opened the portal was a Bronze demon world.

It was a similar world that Ajax and other participants of the champions contest entered.

Bronze demon world, a world that was completely filled with the Bronze demons that belonged to the lowest class amongst the demons.

Compared to the 100 million devourer eagles that had just entered the world, this world had more than one billion bronze demons; however, they were completely scattered all over the world.

”Horn”

The moment 100 million devourer eagles entered the world, there was a loud horn that resounded in every corner of the Bronze demon world.

”Everyone, there is an invasion.”

”Everyone, be prepared to fight the incoming invaders.”

”The more invaders you kill, the higher your rewards will be.”

All the bronze demon ʼGeneralsʼ in the world ordered their minions and motivated them for the upcoming battle with the invaders.

Currently, no one knows who the invaders were; however, since some were invading their world, they would not show any mercy.

”Huh? Devourer eagles?”

However, somewhere in the depths of the Bronze demon world, four red-coloured eyes opened at the same time before saying those words.

”If there is a King realm devourer eagle, I will just escape from this world.”

The being that just awakened was not in a hurry to run away; instead, ʼItʼ waited for the King of the devourer eagles to appear before coming to a decision.

....

ʼDing,

The portal created by the devourer eagle king will last for at least a month. Unless he wants to close it, it will remain open.

Just as he entered into the other world, he received a system notification that made Ajax didnʼt whether he should laugh or cry.
