New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1002: Entering the Devourer eagle kingʼs world

ʼThis place is good.ʼ

Ajax walked a few kilometers away from the Cursed Heaven and after checking his surroundings, he felt it was a good place for him.

The reason why there would be no cultivators was because of the Cursed Energy. Unless they have the energy restraining pills, they canʼt even enter a few kilometers inside the Cursed Abyss much less enter the depths of the Cursed Abyss.

Unlike them, Ajax could use the Cursed Energy to convert into Astral Energy.

ʼSystem, Open the portal to the Devourer Eagle Kingʼs world.ʼ

Once he confirmed there was no one around him, Ajax ordered the system to open the portal to a smaller world to officially start his mission.

ʼDing,

Consuming the small world ticket and opening the portal to the Devourer Eagle Kingʼs world.

ʼSwooshʼ

As soon as he ordered the system, a portal enough for him to enter had opened.

ʼI hope I can complete the task.ʼ

Without wasting any time, Ajax rushed into the portal while hoping everything would go smoothly.

...…

The other end of the portal,

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼWoah...it looks just like Five elemental world.ʼ

Ajax came out of the portal and to his surprise, he felt it was completely similar to the five elemental world including the purity of the essence of nature.

ʼBut the only difference is, this world is completely covered with tall trees and mountains, unlike the five elemental world where tall trees and mountains were everywhere in the Shixato region.ʼ

Ajaxʼs surprise didnʼt last for much longer when he thought about the inhabitants of the Devourer Eagle kingʼs world.

Generally, the bird tribes like to live in a place that is filled with tall trees and mountains where they make their homes.

ʼFirst, I need to find out the information regarding this world. Only then, I can see what I can do.ʼ

After looking at his surroundings for a while, Ajax thought to find out completely about the world.

ʼScreechʼ

Just as he thought about it, he heard the eagle screeches; however, he was unable to see the devourer eagles as he was completely surrounded by the tall trees.

Similarly, the devourer eagles that were flying in the sky were also unable to see him.

ʼHere comes the opportunity.ʼ

Ajax was too lazy to search for the devourer eagles on his own. So, when he heard the screeches, he was excited as though it was an opportunity for him.

ʼTeleportʼ

Without wasting any time, Ajax used the ʼTeleportʼ multiple times and appeared on the top of a tree.

ʼInteresting. Looks like it is convocation.ʼ

Ajax looked at the thousands of devourer eagles that were flying in a particular direction and thought it was interesting.

Among those thousands of devourer eagles, there was only a single devourer eagle whose strength was at peak rank 6.

A few eagles have rank 6 and rank 5 strength. As for the thousands of the eagles only have the cultivation of rank 4 and less than that.

ʼLetʼs see where they are going.ʼ

Ajax could easily kill the entire convocation of the eagles in the distance; however, it would not help him in completing the mission. So, he wanted to follow them and wanted to see where they were going.

As for why there was not a single re-cultivated devourer eagle in the convocation, Ajax was not surprised as he thought, ʼMaybe, they donʼt have the re-cultivation technique or they didnʼt want to re-cultivate just like Twilight.ʼ

And according to him, who cares whether they were in human form or humanoid form or spirit beast form, he would be going to kill everyone soon.

ʼSwooshʼ

Ajax retracted his presence completely as he used the first effect of ʼLightning cloud stepsʼ and with the help of the tall trees, he was able to follow the devourer eagles.

Coming to the description of the devourer eagle, they were 5-10 meters in length and width depending on their strength which was quite big for a bird.

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼDamn it...why are there no more trees from here?ʼ

After following the devourer eagle for a couple of hours, Ajax stopped following because there were no more trees for him to follow.

And if he continued to follow them, he would be easily noticed by the devourer eagles who were known for devouring and their eyesight.

ʼWhat should I do now?ʼ

Ajax racked his brains for an idea to keep on following the Devourer eagles.

ʼI will use it.ʼ

All of a sudden, he thought of something and without wasting any time, he took out a pill from his inventory before tossing it into his mouth.

ʼDing,

The host consumed an invisible pill. He can stay invisible for the next five minutes.

Soon, he got the system notification, he rushed after the devourers eagles which were very far from him.

ʼBefore the pillʼs effect goes, I hope I can find a place to hide.ʼ

Even though there were many thoughts in his head, Ajax was focused on the devourer eagles.

Within no time, Ajax was able to catch up to the devourer eagles and since they couldnʼt see him, Ajax was not worried much.

ʼHuh? Is someone following us?ʼ

However, the peak rank 6 devourer eagle looked in the path Ajax was running and squinted his eyes.

Even though he could not see Ajax, he felt someone was following him.

ʼNo...it must be me who is tired of all the regular meetings with the Eagle Generals. I must be feeling like this for a couple of days now.ʼ

Soon, the leader of the eagleʼs convocation shook his eagle head and continued to fly to his destination.

ʼDing,

Host, the invisible pillʼs effect will last for less than a minute. Please be careful.

As for Ajax, he didnʼt know that he nearly got caught by the leader of the eagleʼs convocation; however, he was oblivious of that because he was worried about the invisible pillʼs effect that might disappear anytime now.

ʼDamn it…how long are they planning to fly?ʼ
