New Age Of Summoners

543 Damilusʼ regre

Ajax carefully observed the elite demon general that was controlled by the demon king as though he was waiting for him to attack first.

”Your summons are good and if you are given some time, then you will become the human worldʼs biggest asset and the demon worldʼs biggest threat. So, I found another reason to kill you,”

However, the elite demon general didnʼt move from his place and looked at Ajax before saying those words.

While saying that, he was watching his small demon army fight Ajaxʼs summons.

”Since you donʼt want to attack first. I will start attacking first,”

Ajax didnʼt let the elite demon generalʼs words to his words because the high-level demons have some mysterious techniques that could hypnotize others.

ʼHuh? He is careful,ʼ

When he saw Ajax didnʼt listen to his words and rushed at him with a white spear in his hands, the elite demon generalʼs eyes flashed with a dark light in them.

Since Ajax had many mysterious techniques and could summon various elemental spirits along with many spirit beasts, the elite demon general thought to hypnotize him and wanted to recruit him.

However, it failed even before he could start the process, so he shook his head and waited for Ajax to come near to him.

”Heavenʼs destroyer spear,”

The bloodlust spear was still in heavenʼs destroyer spear form. So, after gaining some momentum with his running, he threw the spear at the elite demon general.

”Swoosh”

The elite demon general didnʼt even bother to dodge the incoming spear and just when it was about to touch him, a small hole appeared in his abdomen through which the heaven destroyer spear went through.

For the entire time, the elite demon general was very calm and didnʼt take Ajax seriously at all.

ʼLetʼs play for some time. I want to know more of your tricks,ʼ

The demon kingʼs consciousness wanted to find out more about Ajaxʼs secret techniques and tricks. So, he didnʼt use his full strength; instead maintained a strength that was little more than Ajaxʼs strength.

ʼSwooshʼ

With that thought in his mind, he rushed towards Ajax and within a second, he appeared in front of Ajax and lightly punched Ajax.

ʼAarghʼ

ʼThudʼ

Even though the punch looked slow and not powerful, it was quite opposite. It was very fast that Ajax didnʼt even have time to dodge the punch and as for its power, it blasted Ajax into a nearby tree which made him groan in pain.

”Stand up. I will only use one hand. So, if you can kill me, then kill me; otherwise, I will kill you,”

The elite demon general wanted Ajax to have some hope. Only when had hope, he would do his best in fighting against him which would, in turn, reveal all of his secret tricks and techniques.

Despite knowing the fact that the elite demon general was intentionally giving him some hope, Ajax wanted to use it for his own convenience and took out hs inheritance sword from his spirit consciousness.

ʼHuh? A sword?ʼ

The elite demon general revealed a smile as he said, ”Okay then. I will also use my sword with my left hand which is not proficient in swords.”

After finishing his words, the elite demon general took out a black coloured sword from his space ring.

ʼClangʼ

ʼClakʼ

Soon, the elite demon general and Ajax started fighting with the swords. It was not very fast nor it was very slow.

While Ajax was having a sword fight with the elite demon general, his elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts fought the demon generals summoned by the demon kingʼs consciousness.

ʼAm I destined to die here?ʼ

Among all his summons, there was one spirit beast that was regretting the decision of forming a contract with Ajax.

It was none other than Ajaxʼs most recent spirit beast the sea tauren.

ʼI only wanted to freely roam the world after forming the contract and not to fight again,ʼ

The only reason he formed a spirit contract with Ajax was to venture the world rather than sitting in the dimensional crevice; however, before he could even roam a few places, he was summoned from the inner world to fight a fight that was impossible to win.

”Clang”

Just as he was regretting his decision of forming a contract with Ajax, one of the demon generals attacked him which made the sea tauren angry.

”I am already angry about this fight and you dare to sneak attack me,”

Even the attack from the demon general didnʼt do any damage to the sea tauren, he was successfully angry.

”Since you want a fight, I will give you one,”

As soon as he became angry he looked at the anxious demon general and said in a serious tone that made him shiver.

Moreover, the sea taurenʼs body started growing a few centimeters and his cultivation started rising.

Within a few second, the sea tauren successfully broke through into the rank 5 and rushed at the demon general that sneaked upon him.

As for the other spirit beasts, they fought just like how a wild beast would fight and it was very clumsy.

Volcanis, in his inferno mode, was fighting a peak level demon kind and he was in an advantageous position. If he could drag on a little longer, he would easily win the fight against the demon general.

Similarly, Bane and Cerauno were also fighting the peak level demon generals and they were in a little bit of advantageous position; however, it was only a small and which might change any moment.

As for the others, they fought the demon general in whom they were confident enough to win.

Overall, Ajaxʼs summons were winning the fight against the demon generals which made Ajax, who was observing his summons from time to time, increase his hope.

”Now, shall we increase the difficulty a little more,”

All of a sudden, the elite demon general distanced himself and revealed a cunning smile on his face before snapping his fingers.

ʼSnapʼ

As soon as he snapped, all the demon generals who were in a disadvantageous position against Ajaxʼs summons started radiating a black light from their body.

ʼHuh? What is happening?ʼ

Ajax was totally confused and before he could understand what was happening around him, the black light emitted by the demon general became very bright.

”Everyone, move away from those demon generals now,”

After thinking for a moment, Ajax finally understood something and immediately ordered his elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts to move away from the demon general.

”Before you give suggestions to your summons, you have to take care of yourself,”

The elite demon general didnʼt give any time and he appeared in front of Ajax all of sudden before saying, ”Playtime is over now. Time to kill you and your elemental spirits and contracted spirit beasts.”

After finishing his words, he slashed his black sword at Ajax in order to kill him in a single strike.
