I Became The Chief Of A Primitive Village

Chapter 1002, The Stiff-Necked Yan Hua

Yan Hua looked completely absent-minded today, and actually seemed rather tired.

She had discovered something wasn’t quite right when she woke up this morning, but she had been enduring it the whole time.

“What’s wrong with you?” Sha Lan, as Yan Hua’s good friend, immediately noticed something was off with her.

“Nothing much, I just feel a bit too tired.” Yan Hua moved her neck. She felt her entire body was particularly sore and weak today, but she wasn’t ill.

“Where do you feel unwell? Let me have a look.” Sha Lan immediately leaned over.

“I can’t really say. I just feel my waist hurts, my neck hurts, everywhere hurts, but also like nothing hurts.” Yan Hua said as her hands constantly moved all over her body.

“Looking at you, you probably didn’t sleep well yesterday. How about going to take a nap now? Maybe you’ll feel better?” Sha Lan suggested. She had experienced similar symptoms before, and taking a nap had helped quite a bit.

“No thanks. I tried, but lying down is also very uncomfortable. I might as well not delay things.” Yan Hua refused.

“Go find Shaman to look at you. The Shaman can use Shaman Techniques on you. That way, you’ll get better faster.” Sha Lan suggested.

Warriors in the Tribe would go directly to Shaman whenever they had any problems.

This was so as not to delay their training, not to mention other things like hunting or protecting the Tribe.

“Alright then. In this condition I can’t train or lead others anyway. I’d better go have Shaman take a look.” Yan Hua sighed.

*Step step step…*

The two walked toward the Yong’an Building. The morning training had been completely unfocused.

“Shaman, Ah’Hua seems a bit uncomfortable and not quite right. Please have a look at her.” Sha Lan spoke up.

“Shaman, I’m very sorry to disturb you.” Yan Hua showed a bitter melon face.

It was rare to see Yan Hua look so soft and adorable. Her usual appearance was very spirited and lively.

“First let me see where it hurts?” Su Bai raised his hand and beckoned, still not quite used to Yan Hua’s change.

“Shaman, when I woke up from sleeping today, my neck felt very sore and painful, and my shoulder here is also stiff. My waist is also uncomfortable…” Yan Hua pointed all over her body, unable to explain exactly what the situation was.

“Sit down first. I’ll know why after examining you.” Su Bai, after hearing her description, could already roughly guess what was wrong with her, though he needed to confirm.

Because Yan Hua wasn’t feeling well, she did not have her usual liveliness. She very obediently sat on the chair.

Su Bai did not waste words. He directly reached out and pressed on her shoulder, occasionally looking for some acupressure points.

He operated for quite a while before asking, “Do you feel any soreness or pain? How does this feel?”

“When Shaman presses down, it’s especially painful, but this feeling is very comfortable. I hope you can keep pressed like this.” Yan Hua said without reservation.

She was truly too uncomfortable, and Su Bai’s actions really did relieve her discomfort.

For a moment, she did not worry about etiquette, only hoping her discomfort would quickly get better.

“I know what this is. It should be your sleeping posture. It has caused your current body to ache after you woke up, and you even have a slight case of a stiff neck.” Su Bai continued exploring other areas. “Also, you’ve accumulated quite a bit of strain injury before, so you feel very fatigued.”

This phenomenon was very common in the modern world. Almost everyone would encounter it several times in their life. A stiff neck and strain injury really did not feel good. They would make one feel weak all over, as well as sore, with various inconveniences in movement.

“Shaman, I don’t understand what this means. I don’t know how long I’ll be like this?” Yan Hua asked pitifully.

Yan Hua again showed her rare soft and adorable image, only wanting the uncomfortable feeling in her body to quickly disappear.

“If you’re lucky, a few days will be fine. If it’s serious, it might take more than half a month. But this is only for your stiff neck. The strain injury on your body will still persist.” Su Bai said while his hands massaged, constantly kneading the strained areas on Yan Hua’s shoulders.

“It’ll take that long?” Yan Hua instantly felt somewhat lifeless, but the comfortable sensation from her shoulder made her feel very pleased.

She was, after all, a Totem Warrior, so when sore areas were massaged, she did not feel uncomfortable, because she could endure pain quite well.

Not only did she not feel uncomfortable, she actually found it quite pleasant.

Yan Hua felt the current situation was very serious, and moreover, the person before her had a noble status.

So Yan Hua kept holding it in without making any sounds. That relaxing comfortable sensation instead gave her goosebumps all over her body.

“I’ll directly use a Shaman Technique to help treat your stiff neck and strain injuries. While massage is very comfortable, it will take a very long time for you to get better.” As Su Bai spoke, he used the Curing Skill. Pale green light instantly enveloped Yan Hua’s neck and shoulders.

The entire process was very quick. It was over in less than a minute.

“How is it? Don’t you feel much better now?” Su Bai asked. Nothing was more convenient than Curing Skill.

Yan Hua immediately got up and moved her shoulders and neck, discovering she didn’t feel uncomfortable anywhere.

She instantly beamed with joy, saying, “Thank you, Shaman. I’m very comfortable now. I like this feeling. I’m now completely free of pain.”

After Yan Hua’s stiff neck this morning, she had constantly felt uncomfortable, always feeling her neck was crooked, finding it difficult to even straighten it.

“That’s good then. Next time when you sleep, try to stay in position. Don’t twist around like a caterpillar.” Su Bai instructed.

Only now did he realise that Warriors could also get stiff necks and uncomfortable shoulders and necks. Previously, he had always thought Warriors seemed to have indestructible bodies, never seeing them with fevers, colds, or body aches.

“Yes, I’ll remember.” Yan Hua nodded heavily, then asked, “Shaman, what was that massage technique just now? I’d like to learn it.”

Yan Hua was still immersed in that comfortable feeling from the massage, wanting to learn it herself to try on those around her.

Of course, the person she most wanted to massage was Su Bai, though that was just wishful thinking. How could Shaman possibly get a stiff neck?

“We can directly arrange for a group of people to learn how to massage. In the future, we can open a massage shop. Business would definitely be great.” Su Bai suddenly thought of another way to attract foot traffic.

He wanted to bring modern massage over. He did not believe those people with body aches could resist the temptation of massage.

Sometimes when one was uncomfortable, being massaged could really help the body greatly relax.
