Apocalypse Descent: Farming with My Harem

Chapter 229 - 140: Tavern Opens, Recruitment of Wandering Heroes_2

Sure, here is the translation:

At this moment, the Polar man Dazhuang exclaimed, “I felt it, the warriors under Lord have become so powerful!”

“The aura around them is as fierce as an Earth Dragon!”

Hearing this, other Polar People also spoke up one after another, “Oh my! I felt it too!”

“By the Earth Mother Goddess, every time Lord goes out and comes back, there’s a world-shaking change!”

These Polar People could be considered old employees, so they quickly noticed that Blom, Andrew, and others had greatly increased their strength.

And those newly joined Imperial Soldiers and Wild Boar Warriors all wore expressions of envy.

They also wanted to possess more powerful strength.

This time, there was no need for Cao Xing to say more. The subject Cao Yi came over to report today’s work progress.

“Lord, as per your instructions, we’ve built another seven Elemental Arrow Towers and three Frost Arrow Towers.”

“The Bonfire has been upgraded to level 12, and your Lord’s Hut has been upgraded to level 4.”

Cao Xing nodded.

He also saw that his Lord’s Hut had expanded again, and the population cap had greatly increased.

He glanced at the system interface.

[Current Population: 115/406]

Cao Xing nodded with satisfaction, “Not bad, I happen to have over a hundred Recruitment Scrolls in my backpack, was worried about not having enough people, but now it’s completely enough.”

He looked at the subject Cao Yi, “Continue.”

The subject Cao Yi respectfully said, “Additionally, we have upgraded one-third of the city walls to mid-rank city walls, and both the Ore Processing Plant and Logging Field have been upgraded to level 3.”

“Now the processing plant can sort copper metals.”

At this point, the subject Cao Yi paused, “However, Lord, there is something I need to report.”

“And that is, our territory’s resource reserves are about to run out.”

Cao Xing was stunned, “Resource reserves are running out?”

It should be noted that through previous trades, Cao Xing had amassed a large amount of basic resources like wood and stone.

As planned, it should have lasted for a long time.

“Yes.”

The subject Cao Yi nodded, “Mainly, wood and stone are running low, upgrading to mid-rank city walls has huge consumption.”

Upon hearing this, Cao Xing looked at the consumption for mid-rank city walls, each upgrade consumed 100 stone, 50 wood, 10 iron.

And the perimeter of his territory required more than three hundred city walls.

Plus the consumption for Elemental Arrow Towers and Frost Arrow Towers.

So, it was only normal that the resources in his territory were running low.

This was the cost of rapid development.

Cao Xing nodded and said, “I understand, I’ll think of a way regarding the resources.”

“Tomorrow, stop construction work for now, send out some Polar People to gather resources outside the territory.”

“By the way, remember to produce more Iron Rail tonight to speed up our resource gathering.”

The subject Cao Yi nodded respectfully.

At this moment, Old Mel also came over to report, “Lord, the emotions of that group of Cloud Yaks have gradually stabilized, not only that, but today they also successfully produced the first batch of milk.”

“You can check the effect of this batch of milk.”

Hearing this, a look of joy appeared on Cao Xing’s face, “Oh? Let me have a look.”

After all, these were magical creatures, and it was said that the milk they produced had special effects, so Cao Xing felt some anticipation.

Old Mel carried a small wooden bucket and, after lifting the lid, inside it was a small half-bucket of milky white milk.

Even from here, Cao Xing could smell the rich milky aroma.

[Cloud Yak’s Milk: 17L]

[Each 100 ml consumption: can restore 250 points of Life Value, 10 points of Satiety, cooling time 40 seconds]

(Milk with the breath of life, can heal some internal injuries, and is also a great ingredient.)

…

Upon seeing this milk’s attributes, Cao Xing nodded secretly, “It can actually directly restore 250 points of Life Value, which is almost comparable to a bottle of Life Secret Medicine!”

“If the Life Secret Medicine Recipe is not found soon, I can use this kind of milk instead of Life Secret, after all, 100 ml can restore 250 points of Blood Volume!”

“I believe that this milk, which restores a large amount of Satiety and Life Value, will certainly be very popular with other Survivors.”

Then, Cao Xing looked at Old Mel, “Mr. Mel, what is our daily production of this milk?”

Old Mel thought, “Cloud Yaks have a lactation period of only two to three months a year, and each yak can produce about 1~3 liters of milk per day.”

“Plus, there are 8 male Cloud Yaks that cannot produce milk, leaving 11 female Cloud Yaks, with a total daily milk production of about 15~30 liters.”

Cao Xing nodded, this milk production was already sufficient.

With a daily output of 15 liters, Cao Xing could sell 150 servings as Life Secret Medicine!

It must be noted that the Moon God Trading House sells a bottle of Life Secret Medicine for 500 Crowns, so even if Cao Xing sells it cheaper, he can at least sell it for 300 Crowns.

That means these Cloud Yaks, just from producing milk, could bring him tens of thousands of Crowns in revenue every day!

Cao Xing was ecstatic.

Old Mel sighed at this moment, “I heard that this Cloud Yak’s milk is a food supply exclusively for the Royal Family, where one liter goes for several thousand Crowns, which could buy me a dairy cow.”

Upon hearing this, the other Polar People and subjects also stared at the wooden bucket in Old Mel’s hand.

They all understood the value of this bucket of milk.

And just then, Cao Xing suddenly shouted, “Dahua, make a bowl of milk soup for our members using the Cloud Yak’s milk.”

Upon hearing this, Dahua, who was standing by, showed a look of surprise.

She had just heard from Old Mel how valuable this milk was.
