Apocalypse Descent: Farming with My Harem

Chapter 15: First Kill of an Elite Monster!

It was a white bear covered with thick white fur, as large as a small truck!

A body nearly six meters long, limbs as thick as barrels, just a glance filled one with a sense of destruction!

Cao Xing saw the attributes of this white bear before him.

[Snow Plain Fierce Bear: Level 15]

[Race: Beast]

[Rank: Second Order Elite Level Creature]

[Life Value: 4080/4080]

[Attack Power: 347~356]

[Attribute: Power 189, Agility 154, Spirit 173, Constitution 204]

[Skill: Bear Paw Strike (The fierce bear uses its strong front limbs to attack enemies, causing a 100% knockback effect on enemies weaker than itself!)

Wildness Roar (The fierce bear emits a terrifying sound wave, causing all enemies within thirty meters to be stunned for 3 seconds!)

Lightning Strike (Harnessing the power of thunder and lightning within, it strikes the ground, causing 130% thunder attribute damage to enemies within twenty meters and paralyzing all enemies for 1 second!)]

[Talent ①: Cold Resistance]

[Talent ②: Thunder Body (Capable of controlling minor thunder and lightning power.)]

(Note: This is a fierce bear that has activated special powers, extremely powerful, please handle with caution!)

“Goodness, a level 15 elite level creature!” Cao Xing was amazed.

This guy, just based on attributes, was comparable to a level 20 common monster, and with those three skills, its actual war power was even more terrifying!

At this moment, upon sensing Assam’s aura, the bear roared and charged forward immediately.

Boom! Boom!

While running, it resembled artillery shells dropping on the snow, with constant explosions!

Such a formidable sight made Assam, who was waiting in place, involuntarily a bit tense.

Meanwhile, Cao Xing began quickly assessing the attributes and distance of both sides in his mind.

“This guy’s blood volume is too thick, the Barrett needs at least five shots to take it down without a headshot.”

“And I’m still five hundred meters away from it; with its crazy running speed, it will take at least 10 seconds to get close.”

“And with Barrett’s two-second attack interval, plus aiming time, 10 seconds is enough for me to fire off five shots!”

Upon reaching this conclusion, Cao Xing felt reassured.

That meant he could eliminate the fierce bear with the Barrett before it got too close.

The premise was that all five shots had to hit.

However, given the bear’s massive size, if Cao Xing still missed, it would be due to his terrible skills.

Meanwhile, the Frost Wolf under Assam tensed its limbs.

It was ready for a life-and-death struggle with the Snowy Blizzard Bear.

“Roar!!!”

The bear’s figure charged rapidly.

Just as it raised its paw, about to strike down.

“Bang!”

A gunshot rang out.

A splash of blood burst forth from the back of the Snowy Blizzard Bear.

[-872]

A terrifying damage number floated up!

“Roar!!!”

The bear howled in pain, losing its balance in midair, tumbling over more than ten meters.

“So fierce!”

And Cao Xing looked joyfully at the massive creature in his hands.

When the [Barrett] shot earlier, the powerful recoil bounced off his shoulder.

At this point, layers of frost ice armor and scale armor appeared.

Cao Xing didn’t suffer any damage, and even the recoil was nullified.

“Great! Now I don’t need to worry about recoil hurting me.”

Cao Xing was overjoyed.

“Uhooo!”

At this moment, the bear quickly got back on its feet, glaring with bloodshot eyes, searching for the perpetrator who attacked it earlier.

Then, it immediately saw Cao Xing in the distance.

In the next moment, this Snowy Blizzard Bear began charging fiercely toward Cao Xing.

At the same time, the attack interval for Cao Xing’s Barrett was over.

He lay on the ground, aiming at the great body of the bear, and fired directly!

“Bang!”

[-1234!]

A four-digit damage number floated up!

Cao Xing was delighted; this shot actually triggered the Barrett’s armor penetration effect.

Two shots already cut the bear’s life value below half.

Assam, who had just escaped a crisis, was presently staring in shock at the two bloody holes in the bear.

“What terrifying power…”

“Even combined with Frost, we couldn’t withstand the Lord’s attack…”

Meanwhile, the bear was less than three hundred meters away from Cao Xing.

Hit by two consecutive shots, its murderous intent was fully aroused.

A fierce aura swept forward.

Even made Liu Muxue and Yilena instinctively take two steps back.

Meanwhile, Cao Xing’s third bullet was loaded.

“Bang!”

Cao Xing fired without hesitation.

This shot missed entirely, causing no damage because Cao Xing shot wide!

“Shit! How could I miss that?”

“What kind of trash shooting is this?”

Cao Xing’s heart sank.

It meant he only had two more chances!

He glanced at the bear’s life value.

[Life Value: 1974/4080]

Meaning, Cao Xing had to land both remaining shots, with at least one causing armor-break damage!

Otherwise, if the bear rushed at him with even a sliver left,

With his small frame, the bear could easily clap him to death.

The pressure suddenly mounted, and the atmosphere grew tense.

Liu Muxue gripped her shield tightly, her face solemn, as if she too had discerned the situation.

At this moment, Liu Muxue reached Cao Xing’s side, ready to block an attack for him.

Cao Xing, meanwhile, kept his eyes cool, moving with calm precision to reload.

He knew, at moments like these, composure was crucial.

As the bear charged within 200 meters, the fourth bullet was already loaded.

Cao Xing aimed at the bear’s massive body, thinking, “Master Han, guide me, please don’t miss this time!”

He then fired immediately.

“Bang!”

[-893]

No armor-break damage this time, yet Cao Xing didn’t feel dispirited.

The Snowy Blizzard Bear seemed to sense that this last stretch was the decisive moment!

“Roar! Roar!”

Its stride quickened once more.

100 meters!

50 meters!

At this point, electricity flickered between the bear’s limbs, as if it aimed to unleash its area skill, planning to obliterate Cao Xing!

However, at this moment, the fifth bullet was loaded!

He took a deep breath, aiming slightly above the bear’s body.

Then, he fired decisively!

“Bang!”

[-1574!]

Headshot!

A frightening damage figure appeared.

A tunnel-like hole opened in the center of the Snowy Blizzard Bear’s forehead.

Its massive body halted its charge, collapsing into the snow like a wrecked truck.

“Splash!”

Dragging through the snow over a dozen meters, the bear’s body finally came to a complete stop.

Then, it lay on the ground, utterly lifeless.

System Prompt appeared.
