His mouth was still just as sharp-tongued, and he was still as arrogant as ever, treating everything as though it were nothing.

After preserving the System, Li Tianwei had not forgotten that he still had something important to do.

With a slight movement of Li Tianwei’s consciousness, his originally shattered consciousness, riddled with cracks, slowly gathered together and recovered.

At the same time, his physical body outside opened its eyes, and Li Tianwei returned once again.

And following the Main System’s departure, the Heavenly Gate before Li Tianwei remained, and the scenery remained as well.

It looked as though there was no difference whatsoever.

Yet Li Tianwei could not understand why that Main System had been so anxious to make him enter the Heavenly Gate and ascend.

Just as Li Tianwei was thinking, an urgent voice came from within his consciousness.

【This is bad, Host, something happened in the Immortal Realm, whatever you do, don’t enter the Heavenly Gate.】

At this moment, the System, which had just extracted information from the residual information left behind by the Main System, immediately shouted.

“Something happened in the Immortal Realm?”

“What happened.”

Hearing this, Li Tianwei immediately asked the System.

【Host, I just extracted a lot of information about the Immortal Realm from the residual Data left behind by the Main System.】

【It says that the Immortal Realm is currently at war. No one knows what kind of existence the Immortal Realm’s opponent is, and they’ve already been fighting the Immortal Realm for a very long time.”

【Quite a few passages from the lower realms have already been corrupted. There are Great Horrors inside, and if you enter, you’ll be eroded and destroyed.】

The System immediately told him the information one piece at a time.

“Great Horrors? No wonder it was so anxious to make me enter the Heavenly Gate.”

Li Tianwei looked into the profound depths within the Heavenly Gate and lowered his head in thought.

At this moment, Li Tianwei also somewhat understood why the guiding force of Ascension had been so strong, as though it could not wait for him to ascend immediately.

“An existence no one knows about? Great Horrors?”

Li Tianwei muttered under his breath, while his eyes involuntarily glanced toward the inside of the Heavenly Gate.

The System within Li Tianwei’s consciousness saw this movement of his. How could it possibly not know what Li Tianwei was planning?

After hanging around with Li Tianwei for so long, with his thrill-seeking personality, how could he possibly restrain himself?

“I’d like to see what could possibly be more terrifying than me.”

“Sigh, I can only blame the Immortal Realm for needing me too much.”

Li Tianwei let out a deep sigh and, without the slightest hesitation, stepped forward, completely entering the Heavenly Gate.

Seeing this, the System was also utterly helpless and tightly clung to Li Tianwei’s consciousness, afraid that it might become separated from Li Tianwei because of the Ascension.

Although Li Tianwei had already helped it sever its connection with the Main System, nothing could be guaranteed.

As Li Tianwei stepped into the Heavenly Gate, ripples slowly spread through it.

Very quickly, Li Tianwei’s figure completely disappeared within the Heavenly Gate. Afterward, the enormous Heavenly Gate that towered into the heavens slowly closed and vanished between heaven and earth.

And after Li Tianwei stepped into the Heavenly Gate, waves of Celestial Music also spread across the skies of the cultivation world.

Birds and beasts stirred, ten thousand flowers bloomed together, and immortal light scattered in all directions.

All of this announced that someone had already ascended and become an Immortal.

If it had been in the past, the entire cultivation world would have held a grand celebration because of this.

But the cultivation world of today, after undergoing Li Tianwei’s cleansing and the ravaging of the Evil Demons, was currently undergoing a thorough and complete transformation.

The Path of Cultivation left behind by Li Tianwei had been thoroughly planted throughout the Four Great Spirit Domains.

Beyond that was the establishment of the Netherworld Bureaucracy. Everything was proceeding in full swing, and the matter of someone ascending and becoming an Immortal had instead become somewhat insignificant.

Perhaps there were a few Tribulation Transcendence Realm cultivators throughout the cultivation world whose hearts surged with excitement over this, wishing that they themselves would be the next to ascend.

Unfortunately, they did not know that the one who had ascended was not a Tribulation Transcendence Realm cultivator like them, but a Spirit Transformation Realm cultivator.

If they knew, they would probably curse the Heavenly Dao for being unfair, but if they saw which Spirit Transformation Realm cultivator had ascended, they probably would not have any doubts.

Among the Tribulation Transcendence Realm cultivators who could still survive at present, which one had not received a lesson from Li Tianwei?

However! Ascension was not something one could achieve merely because one wanted to.

From ancient times until now, there had been hundreds or thousands of Tribulation Transcendence Realm cultivators in each era of the cultivation world, and having even one successfully ascend was already quite good.

Moreover, if Li Tianwei had not broken through the Evil Demons’ blockade and restored the Path of Ascension, which Tribulation Transcendence Realm cultivator in the cultivation world would have had another chance to ascend!

Of course, they also had no time to concern themselves with Ascension now.

Li Tianwei had left, but he had not forgotten the matter of everyone cultivating. With the connection of the Sun–Moon Banner, both the Netherworld Bureaucracy and the Sacred Land of Lingxu could spread the seeds of Cultivation.

Moreover, because of certain reasons, under Li Tianwei’s encouragement, the Four Great Spirit Domains were also beginning to come into contact with one another.

The Path of Cultivation had already appeared, and countless mortals had stepped onto the path of cultivation. It was destined that a conflict would erupt between them and the cultivators of the present age.

Just like the great upheaval that had occurred after Li Tianwei spread the Method of Cultivation while he was in the Northern Spirit Domain.

However, Li Tianwei no longer had the opportunity to see any of this. At this moment, he had already entered the Heavenly Gate.

The instant he stepped inside, a decayed and dilapidated aura rushed toward him.

Sensing this aura, even Li Tianwei could not help feeling an instinctive disgust.

That was right, disgust had arisen within Li Tianwei’s heart.

Emotions arising within the heart was an utterly normal occurrence, but for Li Tianwei, that was different.

Li Tianwei was already capable of independently controlling his emotions, yet now such a change had suddenly occurred, which made it very unusual.

Very quickly, Li Tianwei’s rationality suppressed the disgust within his heart, and he began examining the situation around him.

An endless pitch-black void, along with a faint, indistinct summons within it. The decayed aura continuously hooked at Li Tianwei’s emotions, inciting them into turmoil.

Seeing this, Li Tianwei also flew through the air toward the direction of the Ascension’s guiding force.

As he continuously drew closer, Li Tianwei seemed to sense something.

He immediately looked toward a certain direction, and very soon, the scene over there appeared before Li Tianwei’s eyes.

There, ahead of him, amid the endless void-colored expanse, stood a colossal figure ten thousand zhang tall.

That enormous figure wore golden armor, with immortal light overflowing behind him.

Merely through his aura, one could sense that he was probably a terrifying Immortal.

Yet for some unknown reason, his entire body emitted a decayed stench, as though he were merely a corpse.

Li Tianwei saw this and was just about to go forward to investigate when, at that very moment, a figure suddenly emerged from the void.

“Damn, what the hell, Spirit Transformation Realm, what kind of random nobody gets brought to the Immortal Realm!”

The figure had only just emerged, but after seeing Li Tianwei, he was also stunned and could not help staring at Li Tianwei while complaining.
