Chunibyo in Cultivation World

“Emotions, senses—every person is different, and spiritual energy itself also has various attributes.”

“Spiritual roots likewise possess attributes similar to the individual, therefore spiritual roots are also different.”

“Perhaps this is the way to break the deadlock.”

Thinking this far, Li Tianwei completely unfolded his line of thought.

“Discard the false and preserve the true; cultivate the self. Take the heart, take perception as the guide, merge with Heaven and Earth, and draw in spiritual energy.”

“But how should spiritual energy sense that person’s emotions, that guiding heart?”

Li Tianwei murmured softly, his mind at this moment spinning at high speed.

Very quickly, countless ideas and methods surfaced within Li Tianwei’s consciousness.

“Take perception as the guide, connect to Heaven and Earth; spiritual energy fills itself, releases itself.”

“Cultivate the true body, comprehend my true intent.”

Li Tianwei continuously arranged and adjusted, constantly connecting and altering.

“Breathing as the guide, perceiving through sensation, discarding the false and preserving the true.”

Very soon, Li Tianwei had already successfully created the first version of the Spirit Network connection.

“Cultivating the Truth.”

Looking at this cultivation method that took perception as the guide, that comprehended the self, and sought the great Dao of the true self—

Li Tianwei used these two words to describe it. It was already no longer the immortal cultivation methods that relied on spiritual roots to draw power as before.

“No, merely having a cultivation method is not enough.”

“Since emotions are taken as the guide, then the Dao is not something you may trample upon at will.”

“Only by understanding oneself, clearly seeing you and me, can one achieve the Dao.”

“If one is like cultivators of immortality, unable even to see oneself clearly, yet trapped in those bizarre rules of so-called survival of the fittest—what use is cultivation then?”

“Discernment and self-knowledge.”

Li Tianwei continued to add layers within it, continuously elevating all realizations and self-cognition.

Cultivating the Truth was a process of discarding the false and seeking the true. What it required was to thoroughly discern the relationship between people, society, and oneself.

Rather than being trapped within illusory narratives—logic, dialectics, metaphysics, cognition, language, mind…

Li Tianwei believed that someone who could completely see through narratives, where everyone cultivated like him, would surely advance relentlessly upon this path.

They would be even less likely to be filled with filth like present-day immortal cultivators.

Taking perception as the guide, not being controlled by selfish interests, clearly comprehending one’s own heart—this was the true path.

Through Li Tianwei’s implementation, the road that allowed all people to cultivate immortality fully emerged.

To be precise, it was no longer cultivating immortality, but cultivating the truth—cultivating the true self, comprehending all things of the world, a brand-new path.

“Spiritual energy is merely a tool; in the end, it depends on the cultivator themselves.”

“Break the illusion of the world, glimpse the true self. Do not follow the paths built by others within illusory consciousness, but follow the heart of the true self.”

“Break the forms of consciousness, cultivate the great Dao of the true self.”

Li Tianwei slowly opened his eyes.

In that instant, Li Tianwei’s consciousness completely extended outward. All the spiritual energy controlled by the Scripture of Supreme Virtue and Radiant Purity completely boiled.

With the Sacred Land of Yincang as the center, supreme auras surged.

Terrifying law patterns and pressure manifested.

The Disciples of the Sacred Land of Lingxu who had been stationed within the Sacred Land also sensed the earth-shaking power surging forth from its depths.

After several months without any movement, Li Tianwei finally revealed his absolute deterrence.

“T-this…”

“Is it First Seat Li?”

As they watched the endless shackles appearing in the heavens slowly shatter, the sky seemed to be completely torn apart.

Under that bizarre phenomenon, what followed was the inversion of spiritual energy, like a heavenly river pouring straight down from the sky.

Spiritual energy surged unceasingly, leading the deeply buried spiritual veins of the earth to release themselves without restraint.

As the phenomenon manifested, spiritual energy began to change in accordance with Li Tianwei’s consciousness.

If previously spiritual roots had been the foundation, with spiritual energy radiating their brilliance, then now spiritual energy was being re-lit—discarding the false and preserving the true, taking perception as the guide.

As long as one was human, with thoughts and emotions, one could sense spiritual energy and connect with it.

With spiritual energy as the net, all living beings could touch it.

And what was cultivated was the path of the true self—using one’s own mind and true self to continuously peel away oneself, discarding the false and preserving the true.

In this turbid world, to clearly see oneself, to clearly see everything in the world.

By cultivating the heart of the true self, only by breaking the illusion of reality could one step into one’s own domain.

And the original path of immortal cultivation still existed; the two methods coexisted.

In Li Tianwei’s view, all methods in the world had their own strengths and weaknesses. Discarding the false and preserving the true, exploring by oneself, not falling into confusion—only then could one walk upon the path of truth.

Spiritual energy continued to change and flicker. Some cultivators with profound cultivation had already begun to notice that the spiritual energy of the world carried a different flavor.

Some even inexplicably felt their Dao hearts become clear, as if the Dao they had once upheld had shattered at this moment.

“I understand, I understand…”

“My talismans are not heretical paths!”

“My pills also have the power to save the world. Why must pills only heal cultivators—why can the myriad things of the world not be healed by medicine…”

Of course, there were also some cultivators who, under this change, spat out blood, their eyes filled with chaos.

“My Dao has been tainted. Why has spiritual energy changed?”

“Using others as spiritual medicine—why can’t it be done? They are all ants becoming part of me. Isn’t achieving supremacy allowed?”

Two completely different reactions appeared within the Northern Spirit Domain.

And within the mortal world—never entered by these cultivators, not even worth a glance—changes also began to occur.

In a golden wheat field, a decrepit old farmer used his dry, calloused, cracked hands to continuously select wheat ears among the fields.

“Just a little more, just a little more…”

“Why does this method not work!”

“Pigs can be selectively bred, trees can be grafted—why doesn’t this work!”

The old farmer muttered to himself, his eyes already filled with deathly stillness. From his sallow, weak face, it was evident he was already at death’s door.

“I don’t have much time left.”

“Just a little more…”

And at that very moment, spiritual energy was gradually drawn.

Wood-attributed spiritual energy, under his intense emotional fluctuations, slowly flickered and lit up, then directly surged into his body.

The once-decrepit old farmer’s complexion gained a hint of rosiness; even his completely ashen hair was tinged with black once more.

At this moment, without realizing it, he had already stepped into the Qi Refinement Realm.

And there were many like this old farmer—teachers in academies spreading knowledge, scholars wandering the bustling markets, perplexed about the self, glimpsing the cyclical laws of the world…

With feelings in the heart, with comprehension of principles, spiritual energy surged toward them, allowing others to step onto the path of cultivation.

From young children to octogenarian elders…

Such a vast change in spiritual energy was only the beginning.

Endless rosy clouds also shot straight into the sky from the Sacred Land of Yincang, piercing through Heaven and Earth.

Li Tianwei’s figure slowly rose, immortal light overflowing from his entire body, as if he were about to ascend and become an immortal at this very moment.

Five-colored radiance transformed into cloud ladders, as if to guide Li Tianwei upward to greater heights.

“My matters are not yet finished.”

Sensing this change, Li Tianwei slightly furrowed his brows.
