Having ‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍them serve as filters for Resentment Energy was undoubtedly the most suitable use.

After ‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍all, a person’s Resentment Energy and Resentment Force did not arise only from being wronged or persecuted.

As ‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍long as someone was human, there would always be times when they felt regret. Even after death, they would continuously lament the mistakes they had made in the past and wish to correct them, thereby giving rise to this kind of Resentment Energy.

Resentment ‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍Energy, regret, and all such things were not necessarily bad.

Yet ‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍precisely because a normal person would inevitably have regrets, it could be said that as long as one was human, they would inevitably produce Resentment Force.

Since they were going to reincarnate, Li Tianwei could not allow them to carry these resentful thoughts into Reincarnation.

Therefore, all this Resentment Energy would be absorbed by the Evil Demons, after which those Evil Demons would be thrown even deeper beneath the Eighteenth Level of Hell to thoroughly cleanse this Resentment Energy.

Li Tianwei had not forgotten the overwhelming Resentment Force he had sensed when activating the Resentment Channeling Curse. If it continued to grow, problems would inevitably arise.

The fact that the cultivation world had been infiltrated by the Evil Demons to such an extent could be said to have owed much to this Resentment Force.

Using the Evil Demons as intermediary filters would make full use of them while reducing Resentment Energy, and could also effectively resist subsequent invasions by Evil Demons.

Moreover, after the filtered Resentment Energy underwent another round of purification, it could also be transformed into the Spiritual Energy of Heaven and Earth.

In this way, it would form yet another cycle and could even make up for the shortage of Spiritual Energy caused by everyone cultivating.

“This is excellent.”

Thinking of this, Li Tianwei was quite satisfied.

“But how should it be purified after filtering! Something like Resentment Energy?”

Li Tianwei lowered his head in deep thought, his gaze falling upon the Evil Demons below.

“Perhaps the Demon-Burning Spirit Formula can be improved further.”

Thinking of this, Li Tianwei wasted no words and directly headed toward the Evil Demons below.

As the number of times he fought against Evil Demons increased, Li Tianwei had long since become familiar with them and no longer understood them only superficially as he had before.

Li Tianwei reached toward the Evil Demons below, and in an instant, dozens of Evil Demons were brought before him.

It had to be said that the forms of the Evil Demons were extremely bizarre, pure spiritual bodies taken to the absolute extreme, unlike humans and other carbon-based lifeforms.

If something like the Evil Demons had existed in his previous world, Li Tianwei absolutely would not have believed in their existence.

After all, they violated every rule to an extreme degree, almost as though they were composed entirely of information.

It was precisely by relying on these spiritual bodies and their unique informational nature that they could corrode and occupy the physical bodies of living beings.

As before, Li Tianwei dissected the Evil Demons once again and conducted another round of research.

At the same time, Li Tianwei continuously cast incantations, applying all kinds of spells to their bodies.

Observing the connections and patterns between them and the spells, Li Tianwei soon discovered their resistance toward certain spells.

“Demon-Burning Spirit Formula.”

Li Tianwei once again used the formula he had previously developed specifically to counter Evil Demons.

As the power composed of these various incantations and ignited through the extension of a cultivator’s consciousness descended, several additional wounds visibly appeared on the bodies of these Evil Demons.

Li Tianwei continued experimenting here, and after an unknown number of experiments, Li Tianwei finally developed a basic idea for refining the Resentment Force of Evil Demons.

The one who tied the bell had to be the one to untie it.

Evil Demons absorbed the Resentment Energy and Resentment Force of Heaven and Earth, yet avoided the thoughts of living beings, as well as the karma and karmic connections attached to them.

This was why, after an Evil Demon devoured and occupied a person, it would quietly continue pretending to be that person. As time passed, everything belonging to the original person would gradually be replaced by the Evil Demon, while the original karmic connections and karma would also completely disappear.

At that point, the Evil Demon would become completely free, able to do whatever it wanted without any further restrictions.

“Since that’s the case, use the power of karmic connections, as well as karma, to wash them clean, after being purified like this, the Resentment Energy can also be converted back.”

Once Li Tianwei thought of this, he immediately began taking action.

At the same time, Li Tianwei also modified the Demon-Burning Spirit Formula.

“From now on, it will be called the Karma-Transforming Causality Method.”

After Li Tianwei’s modifications, the Demon-Burning Spirit Formula became a Sealing Method that extracted causes to exhaust consequences, creating karma to destroy the body.

“Next is to solidify this power beneath the Eighteenth Level of Hell, creating a cycle that continuously absorbs the Resentment Energy from the Eighteenth Level of Hell, then purifies it through karmic connections and karma, transforming it into Spiritual Energy.”

“Wouldn’t this make up for the shortage of Spiritual Energy caused by everyone cultivating after I opened up the Path of Cultivation!”

“Time to act.”

Li Tianwei immediately continued weaving, while the Forbidden Land of Taixu still had some power remaining.

As power continuously poured in, a long river could visibly be seen flowing beneath the Eighteenth Level of Hell that was being constructed.

The aura of the power of karmic connections could visibly be sensed within it, while boundless karma boiled inside.

Using this, Li Tianwei directly threw the Evil Demons into the river below.

Visible to the naked eye, the moment they fell into the Karmic Consequence River that Li Tianwei had just reconstructed, screams immediately began ringing out.

“No, it hurts so much!”

“I can feel myself being replaced, isn’t this the original karmic life of the person I absorbed before?”

“My power is draining away, why does it keep cycling over and over.”

All kinds of bizarre reactions appeared among the Evil Demons below.

Li Tianwei looked at the condition of the Karmic Consequence River and considered it acceptable.

Upon the Karmic Consequence River modified by Li Tianwei, waves surged forth, and from time to time, Evil Demons could visibly be swept up and swallowed by the waves.

The instant they were swept up, the Resentment Energy from the Eighteenth Level of Hell poured into the Evil Demons’ bodies, but as the waves swallowed them, the Evil Demons disappeared from sight once again.

At the bottom of the Karmic Consequence River, the Evil Demons were also battered by the original karmic connections of the owners of the Resentment Energy, as well as the karma they had created.

Under the effects of the Evil Demons, the Resentment Energy also continuously clashed against that karma.

As the two continuously wore each other away, the Resentment Energy, karma, as well as the original karmic connections of the people who had produced that Resentment Energy, also continuously disappeared.

Li Tianwei could sense that this Karmic Consequence River was undoubtedly an excellent method for erasing everything from the past of a soul that entered the Underworld.

Since they were already dead, there was no use retaining Resentment Energy, and there was even less reason to retain karmic connections and karma.

They had already undergone the judgment of the Ten Halls and were about to reincarnate, so everything from their previous lives also had to be completely exhausted.

The Karmic Consequence River eliminated Resentment Force, allowing all these powers to cancel each other out until they ultimately transformed back into their original source power and returned to Heaven and Earth.

“Perfect, with this, it’s basically been perfected.”

“All that’s left is to make the Sun–Moon Banner circulate and get the order inside operating.”

Li Tianwei took a long breath and slowly opened his eyes.

At this moment, the Forbidden Land of Taixu had already disappeared, while the Sun–Moon Banner in Li Tianwei’s hand, whose flag had originally displayed only the sun and moon, was now covered in specks of starlight.

One could even sense the profound aura of the Supreme Dao emanating from the Sun–Moon Banner. Simply standing there before it was like directly facing an entire domain.

At the side, after seeing Li Tianwei complete the refinement of the Forbidden Land of Taixu, the Spirit Dragon also circled several times in midair before descending onto Li Tianwei’s body.

A dragon pattern appeared on the back of Li Tianwei’s hand.
