Radiant Dragon’s Otherworldly Reincarnation

Chapter 266. This is Healing (1)

“Honey, say ah.”

“Ah.”

“Is it delicious? It’s my first time making human cuisine.”

“Yes. It’s delicious. My wife is good at everything she does.”

“Oh, you….”

Patrick Schneider, in whom the White Tiger absolutely believed, was at this moment being lovey-dovey with his wife.

“Mmm…. So comfortable.”

“Oh my? If you eat lying down, you won’t digest it well.”

“It’s fine. It’s fine.”

Patrick Schneider, lying with his head on Elione’s lap, munching on a sandwich.

He had a pleased look in his eyes.

“Ah, how peaceful.”

“Yes. I am happy that you think so.”

“Right?”

“Of course.”

Yes. Well, it would be peaceful.

For Patrick, who was leisurely chewing a sandwich with his head on his beautiful elf wife’s lap.

However….

“Oh my, it’s time to drop them.”

“Is it? Shall we drop them together then?”

“Heeheehee. As long as I’m with you, I’m happy with anything.”

And the couple, in good harmony, pulled out a single stake in front of them.

Then….

Kurururururung.

The pile of stones that the stake had been holding back rolled down the cliff in front of them.

As a result….

“Uwaaaaaaaah!”

“Stick to the wall! Kuaaak!”

“Grand Young Masterrrr!”

“I’ll kill you when I get up there! I’ll definitely kill you!”

Hearing the voices full of curses and resentment, Patrick smiled contentedly and said.

“This is healing.”

Truly the great archdemon of hell.

Patrick casually tossed the sandwich wrapper off the cliff and said.

“Tsk tsk tsk, such crybabies. Getting all worked up over something so small.”

“You are absolutely right, dear.”

“Back in my day, I could climb a low cliff like this without even using my hands.”

“Oh my, that’s amazing.”

“Ahem!”

The lovey-dovey sounds of Patrick and Elione reached the ears of the knights desperately climbing the cliff.

‘I’ll kill him. I’ll definitely kill him.’

‘Grand Young Master or whatever, I will definitely kill him.’

‘If I can just climb this cliff, I will become a traitor.’

The knights gritted their teeth as if to kill him and desperately scrambled up the cliff.

And what Sanson, who was at the very front, gritting his teeth as he climbed, saw was….

“……”

The sight of Patrick and Elione pecking each other on the lips.

Yes. I see.

He made us train like this with hundred-kilogram iron balls attached and some kind of restriction through acupoint sealing, while he himself was doing that.

No matter how nice a person is, if they saw a sight like this….

“Uwooooooooh!”

Sanson’s rage was extremely justified.

Who could blame Sanson even if he ran to crush Patrick with an iron ball?

However….

Pooooong!

The result was a bit….

“Patrick Schneiderrrrrrrrrrrr!”

The voice of Sanson falling off the cliff echoed faintly.

Kuuung!

Until the sound of him landing at the bottom of the cliff was heard.

The Twin Dragon Knightly Order, hanging from the cliff and watching the scene, swallowed hard.

“How long did the Young Master say he would supervise our training?”

“He said until we can beat the orcs.”

“Dammit, those greenie-green bastards!”

“I’m gonna beat them to a pulp!”

“This is all because those bastards went and did some cheap evolution thing.”

“Right. Right.”

Let’s turn back time a little to find the reason why Patrick was tormenting the knights like this.

In fact, Patrick hadn’t been personally supervising the knightly order’s training recently.

He was very busy, and the knights were also starting to train on their own.

But.

“Uh, what did you say?”

“Well…. They say we lost.”

“……”

“10 to 0….”

The regular sparring exchange meeting between the Twin Dragon Knightly Order and the Orc warriors.

The two forces, who held a sense of rivalry, were eating from the same pot within the same fence, but they were also competitors in a good sense.

So it was a regular exchange meeting, but a problem occurred.

“Lost? 10 to 0?”

“……”

“Isn’t that usually expressed as getting creamed, not losing?”

“Well, um….”

“Sanson, did you lose too?”

“…Tutan has become ridiculously strong.”

“So you lost?”

“……”

“Lost?”

Seeing the silent Sanson, Patrick couldn’t help but grab the back of his neck.

“The kids are pissing me off again after a long time.”

“……”

Sanson’s eyes became anxious.

And Patrick stood up and said in a swaggering voice.

“Sanson. What was the fifteenth thing I hate?”

“Our side losing.”

“Oh, you remembered.”

“Hahaha. Of course I remember… Kuweek!”

“You knew and still did it? You knew?”

To Sanson, who was embedded in the wall and only dropping stone dust, Patrick said.

“These bastards have gotten slack! How dare those who have learned the swordsmanship of the great Twin Dragon Sect lose to some greenie-green knock-off Hebei Peng Clan bastards!”

“……”

“And 10 to 0? Ten to zeeerooo!”

“……”

“How much did you bastards slack off on your training to end up like that?”

Although Sanson couldn’t understand a single word Patrick was saying, he had to say what he had to say at this point.

“Young Master, it’s not because we slacked off on our training.”

“Then?!”

“The orcs have become too strong. The mages of the Tower of Truth say that a chain evolution has occurred.”

“Huh? What kind of bullshit is that now?”

“So, that is….”

High Orc.

It is a being that has evolved from an ordinary orc, ascending to a higher dimension.

This High Orc has two advantages.

First, its potential for development as an orc species becomes immense.

It is said that an orc warrior of the past who had undergone repeated evolutions was not inferior even when matched against an 8-star knight.

In other words, the potential increases.

And second.

The existence of a High Orc influences other orcs around it.

When the first one shows evolution, other orcs belonging to that group are also stimulated and naturally evolve.

The mages call this a chain evolution.

In other words, in the Red Rock Tribe now, starting with the High Orc named Tutan, over 100 orcs have undergone evolution to a higher stage.

And Tutan has even undergone a 2nd evolution.

“What? 2nd evolution?”

“Yes. He is now called not just a High Orc, but an Orc Warlord.”

“…What’s that?”

“Please go and see for yourself.”

Seeing is believing, and as Sanson said, Patrick went to see the 2nd-evolved Tutan for himself.

“Tan…i?”

“Oh, you’re here, Brother.”

The 2nd-evolved Tutan greeted Patrick warmly.

His muscles were even firmer than in his High Orc days, and strange red-patterned tattoos had appeared on his body.

He had certainly changed on the outside as well.

And while Tutan had boldly tried to surpass his brother during his 1st evolution, it was different now.

“Ooooh, now I understand. Brother, you were this huge and powerful.”

“……”

“Truly amazing. This Tutan, I now understand how great a warrior you are, Brother.”

“……”

Seeing his sworn brother looking down at him with sparkling eyes, Patrick scratched his head.

‘He’s improved.’

For a martial artist, their perspective changes depending on the position they stand in.

From the bottom of the mountain, you cannot see the peak above the clouds.

You must climb at least halfway up to see the summit that exists above the clouds with your own eyes.

Tutan had now become strong enough to feel to some extent what kind of monster Patrick Schneider was.

“You’ve become much stronger, Tan.”

“Yes. Brother. This is all thanks to your good teaching.”

“Right. Is the expansion of your forces going well?”

“Yes. Our Red Rock Tribe has now become a great tribe of over 5,000. Thanks to that, we’re running short on prey.”

“Don’t worry and just keep steadily increasing your numbers. I’ll figure out how to feed you guys.”

“Yes. Brother. Thank you.”

After confirming Tutan’s condition.

Patrick spoke to Sanson next to him.

“Sanson, did you fight him?”

“Yes. That is correct.”

“Mmm…. I see.”

It was only natural that he couldn’t win.

In Patrick’s eyes, the current Tutan was exuding a fighting spirit comparable to that of a 7-star knight.

It felt like there was an active volcano with boiling magma in front of him.

If he was like that even when not in combat, what would happen if he decided to unleash that overflowing power?

‘Wow…. I can’t ignore this.’

Among the forces Patrick possessed, the Orc warriors were a powerful force and a long-time ally.

But in terms of the quality of the force, he had thought they were far inferior to the Elf warriors or the magic swordsmen of the Tower of Truth.

But the current Tutan was telling Patrick that his thoughts were completely wrong.

The potential of the orc species was much deeper than Patrick thought.

“With your current strength, Sanson, it’s a bit much for you to win against Tan right now.”

“Right? It’s not my fault, right?”

“But you know.”

An ominous feeling crept up from within Sanson.

That expression, that expression he hadn’t seen in a long time.

That was the expression Patrick Schneider made when he was about to make an unreasonable argument.

“You still lost?”

“…Pardon?”

“I know you’re not skilled enough. But you still lost? You lost? How dare those who have learned the swordsmanship of the great Twin Dragon Sect lose to some knock-off greenie-green version of the Hebei Peng Clan kids?”

“If you’re not skilled enough, you lose….”

Pooooong!

“Agh, you pathetic bastard!”

Patrick, who had kicked Sanson away, spoke as if he were about to breathe fire.

“Shouldn’t you have won? Whether he’s stronger than you or not, shouldn’t you have won no matter what?”

“Kuugh…. Does that even make sense? You crazy bastard.”

“Huh?”

The atmosphere turned chilly.

“…Did I happen to say that out loud again?”

“With perfect enunciation, yes.”

Ah, I see.

This mouth of mine has made a mistake again.

Hahaha.

It did it without knowing its owner’s hardship.

The last thing Sanson’s eyes saw was the sight of the great archdemon, spreading his arms like an eagle and flying towards him.

***

After that….

Patrick was personally training the Twin Dragon Knightly Order, giving them a taste of an even more intense preview of hell.

Climbing a cliff with internal energy sealed (with an iron ball attached).

Swimming the Moana River with internal energy sealed (with both hands tied, using only feet to paddle).

Performing the Dragon Snake Sword Dance 100 times under 10 times gravity with internal energy sealed (with the cooperation of the Tower of Truth).

With internal energy sealed….

“Uwaaaaaah! Why is everything done with our aura sealed? Whyyyyyyy!”

Oliver, who was performing 50 laps of the training ground on his hands with internal energy sealed (with an iron ball attached), let out a desperate scream.

Hearing that scream, Patrick said with a solemn expression.

“Ahem, in my view, what you all need right now is a spiritual awakening.”

“If the spiritual element is important, why are you tormenting our bodies?”

“If you push the body to its extreme limits, a person falls into a sense of skepticism, thinking, ‘Ah, what’s the point of living like this?’”

“……”

“That is what is called the state of ‘self-forgetfulness’.”

That is?

“If you achieve enlightenment by making a spiritual leap in that state of having forgotten yourself, you too will be able to rise one step higher.”

“…Is that really true?”

To the doubting Oliver, Patrick averted his gaze slightly and said.

“Well, if not, then not. If it doesn’t work, then we’ll find another way….”

“Does that even make sense? You bastard!”

“Die! Go and die!”

“At least stay somewhere we can’t see you!?”

At the knightly order’s fierce backlash, Patrick just smiled contentedly.

And he wrapped his arm around the waist of April, who was smiling shyly next to him, pulled her towards him, and placed a kiss on her cheek.

“Young Master, if you do this here….”

“It’s fine. It’s fine.”

Patrick sat April, who was blushing, on his lap, hugged her, and then made the most annoying face in the world towards the knightly order and said.

“But I dooooon’t want to? I’m gooooing to be all lovey-dovey with my pretty wifey hereee?”

‘…I want to kill him.’

‘…I want to kill him.’

It was surely no coincidence that everyone thought the same thing at this moment.

***

For the knightly order, hellish days continued.

In fact, Patrick knew it too.

Martial arts was something you built up one by one; it wasn’t something you could grow rapidly by suddenly falling off a cliff and picking up a divine ultimate technique.

Well, you could increase your internal energy by absorbing a spiritual medicine.

But that wasn’t what they needed either.

Since the density of ki in this world was high, the effect was equivalent to eating a spiritual medicine in the Central Plains even without feeding them one.

In other words, what they needed right now was some kind of stimulus to break through their stagnation.

His words about pushing their bodies to the extreme to experience self-forgetfulness were sincere in that sense.

“Wow, humans can do this too. How fascinating. What should we try next? This is getting more and more fun.”

“……”

“Knight A. I’m having a lot of fun right now.”

Huh? Oliver is crying.
