My Apocalypse System Arrives 10 Years Early

Chapter 372: Chapter 254: Aoi Monshou (3)

Within the Nikki Association, Mitsui Genichiro’s status was actually insignificant. Many other figures held far more power and authority, so the incident was simply allowed to pass.

After all, no one believed that a delicate widow like Chiba Yuki could possess such capabilities.

’I wonder if that gentleman will return?’ That night, Chiba Yuki returned to the grotto hot spring, hoping for the Armored Man to appear. She felt as though the events of the previous night had been nothing but a dream.

’Perhaps he’s already left, and he really won’t come back.’ Chiba Yuki felt a pang of disappointment. Just as she was about to leave and check on her daughters, the grotto wall vibrated slightly. She turned to look, and sure enough, she saw Li Xiang’s figure slowly materialize.

”Sir...” Chiba Yuki was overcome with excitement, her voluptuous body quivering slightly.

Li Xiang waved a hand. ”Why aren’t you asleep? Were you waiting here for me?”

”Yes, that’s right. I was waiting specifically for you.” Chiba Yuki glanced at Li Xiang, then lowered her head and gently bit her red lip. ”Why don’t I help you undress, sir, and attend to you in the bath?”

Li Xiang froze for a moment, then quickly said, ”That won’t be necessary.”

Chiba Yuki bit her lip, then suddenly dropped to her knees. She shuffled forward and clung to Li Xiang’s thigh. ”I beg for your mercy, Master! Please take in Yuki and my two daughters.”

As a widow raising twin daughters alone while running a private hot spring inn, she faced indescribable hardships. Now, she had finally encountered a powerful individual with such vast abilities, who was also the savior of both her and her daughters. Chiba Yuki felt that she had to seize this opportunity, no matter what. ’If I miss this chance, I’ll regret it for the rest of my life.’

Li Xiang: ”...”

In truth, he was somewhat tempted. After all, they were the Twin Gouyu. In terms of talent, they might be no less gifted than Luo Feifei.

He had taken Mount Fuji’s special Earth Vein, severing Japan’s spiritual lineage and national fortune. In this new future, the Twin Gouyu might not have the same opportunities they had in his previous life. Still, to let such rare talent go to waste would be a terrible shame.

”Master, let Yuki attend to you in the bath. We won’t do anything else, I promise. Just bathing.”

In Japanese, the word for ”master” (shujin) is actually a term a wife might use to refer to her husband. Of course, many modern women resent such a term, but it is still used by many.

The maid service industry also refers to male customers as ”master,” adding the honorific prefix ”go” to create the respectful term ”goshujin.”

One could say that maid culture is a spiritual pillar of Japan’s anime and manga scene. After all, Japanese comics and animation are among the best-known internationally, which has given rise to many maid-themed businesses, such as maid restaurants, maid cafes, maid gyms, and so on.

Chiba Yuki was experienced; she knew that if she could take the first step, a second would surely follow. It was impossible for two people, naked and washing each other’s backs, for nothing else to happen.

Faced with this temptation, Li Xiang still resisted. He waved his hand and said, ”You should go rest for now. Let me meet your two daughters tomorrow.”

Chiba Yuki: ”...”

”I’m sorry for the disturbance. Please rest well, Master. See you tomorrow!” Chiba Yuki felt a wave of shame. She bowed repeatedly and scurried away with quick, small steps. ’Still, the fact that Master is willing to see my daughters is a good thing. Perhaps there’s still a chance.’

At the same time, Chiba Yuki’s admiration for Li Xiang grew even stronger. ’He really is a man of character,’ she thought. ’He didn’t even touch a delectable dish like me. He’s nothing like that lecherous, wicked old man.’

The next day, as expected, Chiba Yuki brought her twin daughters down to see Li Xiang.

To avoid trouble, Li Xiang had simply been living in the underground grotto for the last few days, not going up to the surface.

He was staying here for two reasons: first, it was a place to rest; second, he wanted to gauge the potential of the Twin Gouyu.

”What beautiful little girls.” Li Xiang couldn’t help but take a liking to the twins upon seeing them. They were as delicate and perfect as carved jade—truly budding beauties.

”Call him Godfather. From now on, this man will be your father,” Chiba Yuki instructed her two children.

”Godfather.”

”Godfather.”

The two daughters were very obedient, their young voices sweet and innocent.

”Good girls. Come, let Godfather hold you.” Li Xiang picked up the two little girls and played with them. Although they couldn’t understand Chinese, it didn’t stop them from giggling with delight.

Chiba Yuki finally let out a breath she hadn’t realized she was holding.

Li Xiang pondered for a moment before saying, ”I will teach you a method for self-preservation. Whether or not you can master it will depend on your own aptitude.”

He wasn’t entirely confident. ’After all, the Twin Gouyu are so young—only five years old. Still, there’s no harm in trying.’

Chiba Yuki was indescribably excited and thrilled. Her eyes instantly lit up. ”Thank you, Master.”

”Thank you, Godfather,” Chiba Asatsuyu and Chiba Yukigiri chimed in, their young voices melodious.

Right then and there, Li Xiang selected a Breathing Technique and began teaching it to them, feeding them Spirit Fruits at the same time.

To Li Xiang’s surprise, it wasn’t the children who showed the most promise. While Chiba Asatsuyu and Chiba Yukigiri went through the motions convincingly enough, they were ultimately too young to grasp the true method. Their mother, Chiba Yuki, however, quickly began to generate Spiritual Power.

’Damn, the mother’s a natural-born talent, too,’ Li Xiang muttered to himself. His gaze toward Chiba Yuki was now filled with appreciation.

For the next few days, Li Xiang spent his days at the private inn training the mother and her two daughters. At night, he would venture out to scour all of Japan, continuing his previous plan, always rushing back before dawn to rest.

After all, Japan wasn’t that large, and with his cruising speed of Mach 2.8, it didn’t take him much time.

Five days later, under Li Xiang’s guidance and with the aid of his resources, Chiba Yuki managed to condense her first Spiritual Power Vortex, becoming a Tier One Transcendent.

”What is your first Superpower?” Li Xiang asked.

Chiba Yuki did not dare to hide it. ”It is Aoi Monshou,” she replied immediately.
