Chapter 263: Chapter 175: Faction Ranking: 1

”Current number of Player faction members: 4, Allowed member limit: 5.”

”The goal of Player faction: Maintaining order on the Star Jump, reducing chaos value on board, ensuring the survival of as many passengers as possible.”

”Current chaos value on Star Jump: 50%, Current passenger survival rate on Star Jump: 100%, Current control over Star Jump: 75%.”

”Overall rating: 75.”

”Current faction ranking: 1.”

”Player faction ranked as 1, Star Jump begins transitioning to the Player faction’s home ground, if the Player faction maintains ranking 1 for three consecutive days, or achieves an overall rating of 80% or above, the home ground transition can be completed.”

”Note: The Star Jump will become the Player faction’s home ground, within the home ground area, all members of the Player faction will have their combat power significantly enhanced, Will will be greatly improved, and passenger Life Value on board will significantly increase.”

Wu Chang knew that taking down the Captain and First Mate and declaring the takeover of Star Jump would significantly boost his overall rating and power ranking.

But he didn’t expect the faction ranking to leap directly to first place.

Judging from the three values of the overall rating, his control over the Star Jump has improved the most significantly, with 75% control, it’s likely he didn’t just take over the control share of Jiang Junsu’s faction but also grabbed a significant portion from the New Cosmos Sect.

The results are so remarkable, he still has to thank Jiang Junsu.

Thanks to his previous performance, he thoroughly intimidated the ordinary passengers, and in front of the strong Jiang Junsu, Park Changmin remained silent, instead letting the followers cooperate with Jiang Junsu, which was tantamount to Park Changmin himself admitting that on the Star Jump, his status was lower than Jiang Junsu.

Follow the leader, naturally one should follow the biggest leader.

Park Changmin’s operation made many of the third-tier passengers who had recently joined the New Cosmos Sect peel away the filter of faith addition.

Such a strong Jiang Junsu, being ordered around by Li Zaisi, played by Wu Chang, and then easily taken down. Following Li Zaisi is definitely more stable, right?

Moreover, Li Zaisi is not an ordinary person, but one of the most powerful people at the top of the Pyramid in Gao Mu Country. Even if Gao Mu Country doesn’t come to rescue them, they will find a way to rescue Li Zaisi.

If even he can’t lead everyone out of the predicament as the leader of the Star Jump, then it would be useless for anyone else to take over.

Like this, when Wu Chang executed Jiang Junsu and Li Yuanzhi on the spot, instead of causing panic or anger among the crowd, they felt his decisions were resolute and more trustworthy.

To have a big figure like Li Zaisi, personally killing, the Captain and First Mate must have committed some unforgivable grave mistake.

What, you say they behaved normally and there’s no evidence?

Then Mr. Li must be perceptive and settled these two potential threats before they could take action.

As unreasonable as it may seem, it was indeed the case.

After Wu Chang dealt with Jiang Junsu and Li Yuanzhi, the chaos value of the Star Jump dropped from 75% to 50%. If he contemplated further and eliminated the upper ranks of the New Cosmos Sect like Park Changmin, the chaos value would likely drop below 20%.

The smooth progress of events exceeded his expectations, and the local identities, especially that of Li Zaisi, provided him with great convenience.

The only slight disappointment was that after reaching faction ranking one, the Star Jump couldn’t immediately be transformed into their home ground, they still had to wait three days or increase the overall rating to over 80%.

However, it seemed reasonable upon reflection. If making such changes to a home ground was so easy that the home ground advantage might instead become a drawback.

For instance, if his people and players from the New Cosmos Sect are fighting here, and another faction suddenly disrupts and slaughters passengers, lowering his overall rating and reducing his ranking.

Upon losing the home ground advantage, plans initially based on the home ground advantage could instantly collapse.

However, a new problem arises. The faction initially ranked first won’t sit idly and watch him seize home ground advantage.

Unexpectedly without surprise, the faction that previously held the home ground advantage should be the New Cosmos Sect, which is the Peaceful Sect.

Local people like Park Changmin wouldn’t be aware of the existence of factions, nor receive related prompts, but players like the Secret Ceremony Master will definitely take action.

However, it’s just right, he’s not afraid of the Peaceful Sect causing trouble, he’s only afraid if they don’t. If they truly retreat to their shells, it makes him afraid to attack directly.

After all, the followers of the New Cosmos Sect are also passengers, killing too many will affect the hidden side-quest rating.

After Wu Chang finished announcing the takeover of the Star Jump in front of the passengers, he delegated the remaining tasks to his secretary. He left Vermilion Bird and Black Tortoise to stabilize the scene, and took Cyan Dragon and White Tiger off the deck, with Sword Star heading to the Captain’s and First Mate’s rooms.

Only by obtaining the highest authority card of the Star Jump from them could he truly take over the ship.

On the way off the deck, he saw the Negotiation Master and Great White Shark hurriedly arriving, not even having time to change out of their maid attire, taking on the responsibility of bodyguards self-consciously, vigilantly watching the surroundings.

Wu Chang found it a bit strange and said, ”No need to be so tense, Cyan Dragon and White Tiger should suffice as bodyguards.”

Great White Shark was blunt, ”They aren’t good enough, I’m not assured.”

Cyan Dragon, White Tiger: ”...”

Their expressions darkened, if not for the boss being nearby, they would have already started cursing.

The young people these days don’t know how to respect their elders. Sword Star, eager to work under the boss, began by doubting their strength and pointing out security loopholes.

Later, this Great White Shark, although indeed big and white, was even more arrogant than Sword Star. Not only them, even Sword Star became part of what she wasn’t assured of in her eyes.
