The Princess of Lucifer

“Hello Master, it has been a while, “ Roxanne smiled as she answered the phone.

“Yes, it has been a while, my idiot disciple. “ Scáthach’s voice came from the other side of the phone.

“So, um, Master, did you want something, or are you just lonely? “ Roxanne asked as she took a sip from her water.

“No, I called because I want you and your little group to come to the Land of Shadows immediately. It seems someone has been robbing some souls away from here, “ Scáthach said with a serious voice.

Roxanne did a spit take as she stood up and asked in shock, “Wait, what? Someone has been stealing souls? “

Hearing her words, even Azrael and Luciana, who were beside her, were also shocked and had grave expressions. They knew how precious souls were for a pantheon.

As everyone knows, a pantheon’s strength is decided by the number of believers they have. This is because each pantheon’s faith is a crucial factor for their stability.

Think of it this way. Each pantheon has a fixed limit of points for them to spend on growing their numbers and increasing their comfort level. And human faith is used to increase these points so that the pantheon can sustain themselves and not have to go bankrupt.

The increase of faith has a direct connection to the number of believers, as it is only after a person dies that the pantheon is able to harvest their faith.

And after the faith is harvested from these souls, they are then thrown into the cycle of reincarnation to reincarnate. Usually, when a pantheon throws a soul into the reincarnation cycle, they place a mark on that soul. This mark would then increase the chance of that person being reborn into a family that worships that pantheon, generating faith in that said pantheon again and completing a full cycle.

In the past, gods would descend to the mortal world to create more believers, but after the agreement of secrecy was formed, all of them stopped doing that. Instead, they used their human agents to spread their religion and collect new believers.

But even so, the progress is nothing compared to what it was in the past. So due to this, every pantheon is very territorial of the souls of their believers.

But now Roxanne is hearing someone is stealing these souls. This is simply poking a hornet’s nest.

Another great war may happen if this incident is not properly handled.

“I understand, master. I will be there very soon, “ Roxanne said as she hung up the call.

She then looked at Luciana and ordered, “ Go tell everyone to gear up; we are leaving in 10 minutes.”

“Yes, Mistress.” Luciana nodded and left immediately. She knew how serious this situation was.

Roxanne then looked at her mother and said, “Mom, can you call a meeting with your friends and discuss it? I’m sure whoever stole those souls must have tried to do it from other pantheons too. And even if they didn’t, we need to warn them, as we can’t take any chances here. “

“Okay, sweetie. I will take care of that; you be careful when you are on the mission. No one who could steal souls from a pantheon is easy. “ Azrael said as she also stood up.

“Yeah, whoever did this was either very arrogant or very stupid, “ Roxanne said with a sigh. And here she was planning on taking a vacation to chill.

…..

In a dark world that had never known the light of the sun, where creatures of the night run rampant, a top-secret meeting was taking place. This meeting was taking place in a room that was 20 feet underground.

This room was so secure that if one didn’t know the coordinates beforehand, they would never be able to come here, as this room has no exit door, as it is literally buried underground.

In this room, there are various people from different pantheons all gathered here. One thing common about these guys is the fact that all of them are considered evil gods or their allies.

“So why are we here again? “an extremely arrogant voice asked as he sat on the chair with his legs crossed. The person wore ancient Egyptian attire. He had the head of an animal with a long, curved snout, large square-tipped ears, a thin canine-like body, and a forked tail. His whole presence exuded an aura of chaos and violence.

“Sigh, didn’t you read the text, Seth? We are here because we are going to do something big, “ said a handsome young man appearing in his mid-twenties with black hair. He wore a black cloak, and his body gave off a dark aura.

“Text? Oh, you mean those SMS things? Yeah, I totally ignored that. I mean, who reads those nowadays? “ Seth said as he looked at Erebus with a sneer.

“Well, everyone actually. Wait, don’t tell me you aren’t in the whatsapp group,” Erebus asked in shock.

“Ah, of course not. Why would I waste my time in such a stupid chatgroup when I could do better things with my time? “ Seth said with obvious disdain.

Erebus was speechless. Isn’t this guy a bit too old-fashioned?

Erebus then looked to his side and asked, “ Hey Tartarus, do you also agree with Seth’s views on thinking that our chat group is meaningless? “

Tartarus, who had a body like a Cthulhu, looked at Erebus with his numerous eyes and answered, “ I simply don’t have much time to be in the chat group, so I’m not sure whether my opinion is even needed. “

“Hey, what do you guys think? “ Seeing that Tartarus was not helping, Erebus turned to the other gods and asked.

They all ignored him. These guys didn’t have any interest in joining this childish act. And they also don’t spend much time in the chat group. Only Erebus is idle enough to be there.

Erebus was about to speak again when the teleportation circle lit up and a silver-haired man walked out.

Seeing the man, most of the evil gods tensed up. This is not because this person is an enemy or even a god from the light side. Not because this man is a psycho, but even they who have weird personalities didn’t dare to offend.

Yes, the evil gods are quite self-aware of their own mental problems.

“Well, since everyone is here, why don’t we start this meeting? “ Rizevim said with a smile that Erebus didn’t like.

“Why are we even here, Devil? “ Seth asked as he looked at Rizevim with a glare that would definitely scare anyone.

“Oh, quite impatient, are we? “Well, since I’m also a bit busy, I will go straight to the point, “ Rizevim said while ignoring Seth’s glare.

He had a big smile as he declared, “Everyone, the world is about to get more exciting since one of our dear gods has done something very interesting. “
