The Princess of Lucifer

Xenovia and Tomoe were doing their best as they tried to pass each other. If we take into account magic power, Xenovia would have beaten Tomoe by a huge margin.

But since this race doesn’t allow any magic, the only thing they could rely on is their physical strength. But since both of them are martial artists, their physical strengths are almost the same.

Suddenly a shadow passed by, making Xenovia and Tomoe both stunned. They looked and saw it was Roxanne who had just run past the two of them.

For a moment both of them wondered whether she was also a supernatural being. But a quick check is all they needed to know that she isn’t.

Her physical strength is the same as that of a human. There is no use of magic or artifacts at all. All her limits are close to what a normal human possesses.

With all these facts Xenovia and Tomoe finally had to face the grim truth. Roxanne as a human is more talented than those who are supposed to be a higher race.

Roxanne’s sudden increase in speed surprised many others. Especially Rias and Sona, who were expecting their peerage members to secure the win. Both of them like Xenovia and Tomoe, also used many scanning spells to check whether Roxanne was cheating.

But after not getting any signs of magic, both of their surprise turned to curiosity. Although Roxanne had been quite popular in school, the heiresses didn’t pay much attention to her since she was just a normal human.

A rich one but still a normal human. But seeing her exceptional athletic abilities their views began to change.

Now in their eyes Roxanne is like a rough stone that is waiting to be carved into a diamond. A very expensive and rare diamond.

Roxanne, who was running half seriously, didn’t know she was now a peerage member candidate for the two heiresses. And even if she knew, she wouldn’t care much.

The evil pieces won’t work on her since she is basically someone who can switch between light and dark. And besides, for someone to join one’s peerage, they must be weaker or be equal in strength to their king.

If not, the ceremony would not work. After all, how can a slave serve a master who is weaker than him? Only the strong have the ability to make others serve them.

And there is no one who is born to order Roxanne around like a servant.

“Come, come, Roxanne, you got this.“

“Go, boss, go!“

“Roxanne, Roxanne, Roxxane.“

The crowd cheered enthusiastically as Roxanne widened the distance between her and the others. Most of them didn’t expect to see a very talented girl, so they were very hyped. After all, if this girl pursued the Olympics, she would definitely win many gold medals with her excellent talent. She might even break many world records in her career.

And these guys could brag in the future, saying that they were the ones who first cheered for her.

And so, under the expected eyes of the whole audience, Roxanne ran past the finish line, setting a new world record while also creating a legend in the Kouh Academy.

The whole school festival was drowned by the audience’s cheers and applause.

as students began to come and congratulate Roxanne. Setting a new world record is a very big achievement.

Roxanne smiled as she accepted everyone’s congratulations. Truth be told, she could have finished the race way earlier. After all, compared to running for her life in the Land of Shadows, this speed is nothing. But she held back since she needed to perform for the other races.

When showing off, you can’t do it all at once since the effect wouldn’t be that dramatic enough. As someone who likes to bask in glory, Roxanne can’t have that now, can she?

“Wow, Roxanne, I never knew you could run that fast,“ Aika said as she had her arm wrapped around Roxanne’s shoulders.

“Well, what can I say? I practiced very hard for this,“ Roxanne said with a smile. She wasn’t lying there.

She practiced for 6 months running in the dark wilderness in the Land of Shadows to achieve this speed. In her training, her sadistic master trained her endurance and stamina to the limit by sealing all her magic and restricting her to a normal human and then throwing her into a monster horde to survive.

And thanks to that torturous training, she managed to achieve full control over her body to achieve the maximum efficiency. This is also why she was way faster than Xenovia and Tomoe despite all three of them limiting themselves to being normal humans.

She was like a pro gamer, while the two of them were like rookies who just started learning how to hold a controller.

“Yeah, yeah, if anyone could become this fast with just practice, then everyone would have become an athlete. “ Aika said as she rolled her eyes.

Roxanne said nothing as she just shrugged. Well, if no one is willing to listen to the truth, then it’s not her fault.

For the whole day, various events went on as the sports festival was filled with liveliness until its very end. Apart from the events Roxanne participated there were some other events that drew most of the crowd.

For example, the three-legged race was very popular because of how cute Asia was. Her determined look won the hearts of many followers. The girl’s obstacle race also drew many crowds, especially male viewers who had nosebleeds from time to time.

There was also an event organized by the cheerleaders’ squad that drew many viewers’ attention. Apparently, those girls and Rossweise managed to add their own program to the schedule in an attempt to dispel the negative reputation of the cheerleaders’ club. And those girls nailed it.

From today there will be a new fan club dedicated to the cheerleaders’ squad. And this club would gradually be able to contend against the top two fan clubs with their growth. But that is a story for another time.

After the sports festival was finally over, Roxanne, with her huge entourage, left the school premises in style. None of the other cars dared to be on the road, afraid their measly, cheap vehicle would damage the atmosphere all those luxury vehicles created.

So without anyone to bother them Roxanne and her entourage arrived at her mansion in record time. Although the Shadow Garden girls have homes of their own, they rarely use them since in Roxanne’s mansion there is everything one could ask for.

Since everyone likes to enjoy luxury at someone else’s expense most of the time, everyone comes to Roxanne’s house to relax and party. Roxanne also doesn’t mind this, as she is also someone who likes to enjoy herself to the fullest. She also has a habit of throwing a grand party for every single thing. Just like now.

“Let’s get this party started,“ Roxanne shouted as someone started the DJ.

“Oooooohhh,“ the crowd cheered as everyone began to dance.
