Reborn at Boot Camp: General, Don’t Mess Around!

Chapter 4960: HopeEditor: Henyee Translations

Ye Jian, who was prepared to leave the stage, was stunned by what Battalion Commander Tian said and the soldiers’ salute. She instantly returned the solemn salute to all the soldiers below the stage!

Xia Jinyuan, who was standing beside her, raised his hand and saluted as well. He saluted the soldiers and Ye Jian.

Backstage, Gao Xiao, Zou Qi, and the other two emcees saluted Ye Jian even though she could not see them.

The female soldiers led by Ye Jian saluted their instructor with admiration in their eyes.

It was their honor to be led by Instructor Ye for training!

It was an honor that they could show her their respect.

Looking at the girl beside him, Xia Jinyuan’s eyes were filled with admiration.

His girl would definitely have more glory in the future!

The gala ended at 9:00 pm. The soldiers left in an orderly manner. Xia Jinyuan whispered to Ye Jian, ”Let’s guard tonight until the new year. I’ll wait for you.”

With the crowd’s excitement, he knew he would have to wait before getting to spend some alone time with her.

When Ye Jian was surrounded by the female soldiers who were talking excitedly, Xia Jinyuan, who was standing in front, looked at Ye Jian deeply. After receiving Ye Jian’s reply, he smiled and turned to leave.

Right now, the female soldiers were surrounding Instructor Ye and not his girlfriend, Ye Jian.

The female soldiers had always known that Ye Jian’s shooting skills were good. They could tell that during normal training. However, they had never seen Ye Jian shoot at a fast speed. Every time during training, Ye Jian would shoot at a normal speed. She had never displayed her extraordinary shooting speed.

The most shocked people today weren’t the male soldiers. It wasn’t Battalion Commander Tian, Commissar Tang, or the company commanders of their companies. It was the female soldiers.

They were still in shock. They just wanted to have a good chat with instructor Ye.

Ye Jian couldn’t look for Xia Jinyuan because of this. She chatted patiently and explained to the female soldiers, ”Actually, Instructor Xia had already told you in the past. It’s just that you didn’t pay much attention at that time.

”I’ve not been hiding anything. I just didn’t want to add to your psychological burden. But we don’t have much time together now, so you do need to feel a little burdened.

”The military sent me to train you. The assessment later might be based on my standards as an instructor.

”I hope that in the future, you will work harder for your dreams and become members of the first female special forces unit.”

Ye Jian chatted with the female soldiers until 11:00 pm. They chatted until the cold wind outside blew inside. It was like they were outdoors. The female soldiers only ended the chat when they felt very cold.

They congratulated each other in advance and gave their comrades their sincerest blessings before returning to their respective dormitories.

Xia Jinyuan wasn’t sleeping. He kept waiting for Ye Jian to arrive.

They agreed to spend the new year together and leave the old to welcome the new. His woman would definitely come as promised.

At 11:00 pm, Ye Jian, who was wearing a thick winter coat, pushed open the door of Xia Jinyuan’s dormitory. The lights in the room were not turned on. It was so dark that one couldn’t see one’s fingers.

Even so, Ye Jian knew where the man she loved was.

She walked straight over and reached out her hand to hold the big hand that had reached out in the dark. ”I’m sorry I’m late.”

She said in a low voice.

Xia Jinyuan smiled. ”It’s not late. The new year hasn’t arrived. We didn’t miss the agreed time.”

”I’ve kept you waiting.”

”Sometimes, waiting is a form of happiness. I knew that you’d come as promised. There was hope in my heart, so I didn’t feel like I had waited long.” Xia Jinyuan held her hand tightly. His tone was filled with satisfaction.
