When Xia Jinyuan woke up, Cobra, who was staying at the hotel, learned of the news very quickly. He was on the phone with General Minlai. On the phone, General Minlai told him that he had already sent people to the capital city of China. General Minlai wanted to see if he could find out where Cobra’s old friend was.

Today, early in the morning, Cobra personally sent the prepared dollar bills to General Minlai, who was staying in the suite next door. He said that it was hard on the general to help him find his old friend from China. Cobra was very generous and smart. This made General Minlai very happy. He didn’t delay this matter and immediately got people to investigate.

Now, the subordinates who went to China to investigate had already entered China’s territory. They were just waiting for the news.

Cobra was in a good mood. From the looks of it, his cooperation with General Minlai was not bad. In addition, he didn’t have to go to China to know about his old friend. Cobra poured a glass of red wine for himself to celebrate the end of his unhappy experience in Myanmar.

When he knew that his subordinate had woken up, Cobra put down his wine glass and rushed to the hospital.

When Xia Jinyuan saw that Cobra had entered, he wanted to sit up. Cobra smiled at Luke and said, “Lie down. You need to lie down properly to recover as soon as possible.”

He walked to the side of the bed and looked down at Xia Jinyuan, who had lost too much blood. His face was pale. He said with concern, “Thank God that I didn’t lose such a good subordinate. Xia, rest well. Luke and I are still waiting for you to come back.

“Also, we’re very safe now. You don’t have to worry about what will happen. Now, you just need to do one thing for me. That is to recuperate.

“I look forward to seeing a healthy subordinate soon.”

His emotional words didn’t affect Xia Jinyuan’s expression. He just nodded softly. His weak voice came through the breathing mask calmly. “Mr. Cobra, this is what I should do.”

“No one can be as good as you. You look very tired. I’ll let Luke take care of you.” After he finished speaking, he raised his wrist and looked at the time. He revealed an apologetic expression. “Xia, I need to take a plane back to Molaban first. I will wait for you at Molaban.

“I hope you can come back as soon as possible. After all, I can’t have you not by my side anymore.”

He revealed his intention of letting Xia Jinyuan follow him. Luke couldn’t help but clench his fists secretly. Cobra believed Xia now. To him… it was good news.

“Luke…”

“Yes, sir.” Luke immediately agreed and waited for Cobra’s instructions.

“I think you definitely want to stay and take care of your partner, right? Fine, I’ll give you a chance. Stay and take care of Xia. I’ll call at any time to ask about Xia’s situation.”

“Don’t worry, sir. I’ll take good care of Xia until I can bring him to drink the best wine and woo the most beautiful woman.”

“You’re a pervert who can’t live without wine and women. However, I don’t think Xia will like your wine and women because your taste is still so bad.”

Cobra said humorously. This man, who was thinner than ordinary Westerners and had double identities, looked very amiable as he chatted with his subordinates. He even had afternoon tea with Xia Jinyuan before leaving with his bodyguard.

After walking out of the ward, he looked at the bodyguard who had been guarding outside the ward and instructed, “Memorize all the people who come while Xia is recuperating. I need to know everyone, including the nurses and doctors.”
