Ascendant Path of a Lustful Vampire

Chapter 99: Is this what it means...? **

Caius had a sharp intake of breath at the pain caused by the aggressiveness of Athenodora’s bite and the deeper her fangs got in his body, the more the pain he felt and the happier Athenodora seemed to become.

Which Caius found fascinating because there was no benefit for her in his blood. It wasn’t even because she was so much stronger than he was. Vampires simply cannot evolve by feeding on each other.

Athenodora pressed her body against Caius and his hands went up and clamped to her waist almost by instinct. Really, what else was he supposed to do when her succulent breasts were now pressing into his chest?

”Ahn,” Athenodora let out in a gasp tinged with mocking surprise and she pulled back to grin at him, her fangs dripping with his blood,

”You finally stopped being passive? You’ll finally stop being so distant? Oh, by Nyx, we’re making Progress, aren’t we?”

She leaned in close and let her tongue out of her mouth, licking at the bite mark she had made in Caius’ neck to take the drops that had seeped out into her mouth. At the same time, taken slightly by surprise with how good he felt—how the pain and tickling sensation of her tongue on his skin melded so well together—Caius’s hands tightened around his Creator’s waist.

Athenodora let out a groan and her body trembled ever so slightly against Caius as her tongue left the bite mark to lick all over his neck and even to the back of his ear before she took his earlobe between her very sharp teeth, grazing across the softness of it.

A groan almost escaped Caius’ mouth but he managed to stop it just in time. At least he thought he did, until Athenodora chuckled.

”Don’t hold back,” she said in a breathy voice that caused Caius’s cock to stir in his pants,

”You’re allowed to be enjoying this. I certainly am.”

”Enjoy what?” Caius asked with his best attempt at dry sarcasm, ”Enjoy you sucking me dry for nothing besides fun?”

”Does there there be any other reason?” Athenodora asked and laughed in a way that had her breasts trembling against his chest.

Her mouth was back on the bite mark again and she took a lick of the drops that had sipped out since she had been away, savoring the taste with her eyes closed.

”I think it’s even better for it, I believe. The lack of a purpose,” she said still with her eyes closed,

”I don’t need your blood. But by Nyx, do I want it!

It’s so similar to mine that I shouldn’t even desire it. Besides the fact that you are a Vampire, you are MY Vampire. The blood running in your veins, by all logic, is mine. You wouldn’t smell so different. So distinct. So... good.

But you do.

I shouldn’t have been able to preserve the tastiest blood I’ve ever tasted once I turned you and yet, I did. I see it as a gift. A gift I fully intend to enjoy.”

Athenodora’s eyes were open now and her Vampire red eyes were looking into Caius’ human purple eyes with the corner of her lips pulled up in a smirk that managed to look so genuine as well.

Caius leaned forward and seized her lips then. Her fangs pricked his lips but it didn’t matter. When he thrust his tongue into her mouth, the sharpness of her teeth grazed him and cut him but he didn’t care. Athenodora seemed to specifically like that actually. She sucked on his tongue and increased the intensity of their kiss in the process.

One of Caius’ hands remained on her waist while the other slipped onto the wonderful arch of her ass. He squeezed the succulent plump cheeks and used them to pull the Vampire even harder against himself and he felt her rock her lower half against his hardening cock.

And then, Athenodora’s grip on his head tightened and she easily pushed him away from her face, laughing as she pulled back just a bit so she could place a clawed hand on Caius’ chest before she pulled down and tore right through his uniform shirt so her hand could touch him directly.

She ran her fingertips against his skin and then she put in just a bit of strength. Forcing him to fall backward onto the hard stone floor.

*Thud*

The fall hurt less than Caius had expected it to. His grip on Athenodora did not lessen throughout his fall and she allowed herself to be pulled and fall on top of him, pressing her breasts against his chest once again as she took his lips, this time deliberately using her fangs to cut into his tongue so she could suck more of his blood through it.

Caius groaned both in pain and in pleasure because Athenodora’s ass was now resting on his bulge. She seemed very aware of that fact judging by how she began to gyrate and rock herself against it.

Caius’ eyes turned Vampire Red and his fangs began to extend. Along with his claws which he dug into Athenodora’s gown while he fondled her waist and ass. As much as he pulled, the material endured.

But Athenodora’s lips did not.

Biting down as hard as he could, Caius managed to nick her lower lip and her blood began to seep out.

Athenodora suddenly pulled away from him then and for a second, Caius wondered if he had gone too far but then he saw the Vampire staring down at him with an ecstatic grin.

”Oh? Didn’t think you had it in you,” She said with a sensual gasp as she licked at the wound he had made and the blood that had seeped out of it.

Instead of answering, Caius pulled himself up to grab the back of her neck and pull her down with him as he lay back down on the ground and pressed their lips together. This time, he took the time to suck on her lips and enjoy the taste of her blood as she had enjoyed his so far.

His eyes widened and became unfocused as he seemed to have been wrenched from that very space.

It was like a burst of energy. In those few drops, he found himself feeling inconsequential to a massive grand scheme that his brain couldn’t even fathom. Like the Vampire Count Title he just acquired and the Noble Authority he now wielded was a mere drop in the sea compared to the natural-born Authority Athenodora possessed.

Have you ever tasted something so good that you know, taking more of it would quite literally blow your mind? Something you wanted more of immediately while also not wanting more at the same time? Something that made you feel like a speck in the presence of a god? If you have then maybe you’d understand a sliver of how Caius felt after tasting Athenodora’s blood.

Technically, he had tasted her blood before. He had a memory of tasting it when she turned him but he had not at all registered all this information at the time. A human is just incapable of detecting so much Vampiric Might.

Also, nothing he knew from reading the original story could have prepared Caius for this. [To Kill A Demon Lord...] had severely undersold this. For the first time since this ordeal started, he finally understood why someone like Anton Orlock would want his Blood that much. If Anton could smell even the quarter of a percent of what Caius tasted from Athenodora’s Blood from him, then he had a right to be greedy for it.

And none of what Caius had felt so far had anything to do with the taste of the blood. That was simply the energy, quality, and power that Athenodora’s blood carried. Taste was a different thing entirely and Caius wasn’t sure how to even describe that. It seemed he had already run out of descriptions as they had all been used to describe the energy.

It didn’t even matter in the slightest that Athenodora’s blood couldn’t help him evolve magically or physically, every aspect of Caius’s Vampiric being was simply in awe of it. Inclined to worship it.

And through it all, there was one question in his head;

’Is this what it means to have Vampire Royal Blood?’
