Ascendant Path of a Lustful Vampire

Chapter 84: I believe in you *

-Arlette’s Office-

It was after school.

Mage-Knight Training class was over a good while ago and while every other student was heading off to their dormitories or maybe the library to catch up on homework, Caius was lying on the sofa on top of Arlette, doing some learning himself. Or at least, she was trying to teach him and he was distracting her with his mouth sucking on her soft neck.

”Ngh... Devotion can be very important—Mmm—when using Dark Magic. It and Light Magic, are undoubtedly the most spiritual elements—Ahhnnn—t-to ever exist.”

Yesterday, when Caius came to Arlette’s office, she revealed that she felt she was spoiling him by simply giving him spells.

”You’ve only given me two spells,” Caius had pointed out, not ungrateful, of course. Just putting into context how much he had been ’spoiled’.

”Be that as it may,” Arlette said, ”You can’t truly understand Dark Magic or the spells I give and you cast, unless you truly understand the Divinity that governs the element.”

”The thing is though, I already know about it,” Caius had said.

”Oh really?” Arlette had then asked in a doubtful tone before she fired out question after question and he just stared at her unable to answer.

Caius did know that there was a Divine force that governed both Light and Dark Magic in this world, but the narrative of [To Kill A Demon Lord...] had glossed over the details in favor of storytelling.

He couldn’t, for the life of him, give a detailed response to the questions Delia asked. In fact, he realized he knew more about the Divinity of Light Magic than he did about Dark Magic.

The reason for this was of course, because Aurelius was the Main Character and his overall arc was tied into that Divinity. Hell, in his past life, he was the right-hand man to the Goddess of Divine Light.

As [To Kill A Demon Lord...] progressed, Aurelius had slipped more and more into his worship of the Goddess and his spells were more like prayers to call for Divine Intervention.

So all in all, Caius was so stumped by the questions that Arlette soon slipped into minutes of explanations and he realized there was such a deep lore involved with it all that surpassed what he could have expected. And it was clear she had only scratched the surface.

When she said certain words in a language Caius didn’t understand and something within him—something within his Mana itself—leaped in synergy with it, he actually became interested.

Alas, his interest in those lessons couldn’t supersede the beauty of Arlette’s face, her delectable curves, or how much he wanted to kiss her. And so he did. He kissed her, and much as she tried to remain lucid and focus on the importance of her teachings, she was unable to avoid getting sucked into the pleasure of Caius’ touch and soon, he shut her up and all tales about Dark divinity were abandoned. At least, at the time.

Today, when Caius entered her office, he found the Alchemy Professor ready and she launched immediately into her lecture on Dark Magic.

Arlette was so serious about it and was so sure she could resist his tempting pull which was why she was surprised to find herself on the sofa. Somehow, while she was talking, she had been lured out of her chair behind her desk and pulled into the soft cushions of the sofa with Caius’ body pressed against hers.

His hand undid the fastening on the front of her gown so her breasts could fall out and he could grab and squeeze one of them while his mouth never left her neck.

”Mmmm,” Arlette moaned and subconsciously rocked her body against his as she managed to say in a breathy tone of voice,

”You’re really not taking this seriously.”

”Maybe that’s because we have more than enough time for you to teach and for me to learn,” Caius said, ”Why bother right this second?”

”Because that’s a lie!” Arlette said and was so exasperated that her voice was clear without any moan or groan of pleasure.

Caius was unbothered.

”What’s a lie?” He asked, sounding like he was too lost in the taste and feel of her body to follow what she was saying.

”That we have time,” Arlette clarified and then chuckled as she added,

”That’s a lie because you can’t seem to keep your hands off me. We end up spending all our time doing THIS.”

”Ironic you say that,” Caius said and indicated—as best he could without taking his mouth off her neck—at her arms around him.

She had one hand on his back, and her other hand was in his hair, rubbing at his scalp, encouraging him to keep at what he was doing. She even had one leg around him.

When Arlette realized this, she didn’t take her hands or legs away. Instead, she held on even more tightly and let out a groan.

”I’m only like this because of you,” she said.

”Thank you,” Caius said proudly and moved his knee to rub just a tad bit harder against her center, feeling as the moistness was soaking through her flimsy underwear.

”Ahhhhhh...” Arlette let out a long gasp into his ear and then she chuckled again,

”It was not a compliment.”

”It sounded like it to me,” Caius said, smiling. He pulled up from her neck and looked down into her face.

She really was beautiful. Those grey eyes of hers were pulling him in.

”What?” Arlette asked feeling a bit self-conscious under his gaze.

”Nothing,” Caius said with a smile and leaned in to kiss her lips, taking her lower lip into his mouth to suck on lightly before moving to the upper lip to do the same. Arlette did it to him next and their tongues touched and rolled around each other in a kind of dance.

And then, when Caius pulled away from her lips, he let out a sigh like he was giving up.

”Alright, fine,” he said, ”Tell me more.”

”Really?” Arlette said, sounding disappointed that he was not going to be kissing her anymore which she found weird because this was what she had been trying for since they had been together today.

She tried to change her expression to be more enthusiastic but then, she saw the look on Caius’ face change and could tell that he had caught her disappointment.

”I knew you wanted this more than you wanted to teach,” he said and emphasized his point by squeezing the one breast he was still holding.

Arlette let out a needy sigh.

”Maybe I’m part of the problem,” she admitted.

Caius laughed.

”Let’s try for a middle ground then. I’ll continue and you’ll try to teach through it.”

”That’s— That’s impossible,” Arlette said, shaking her head slowly.

”I’d like to think the challenge makes it more exciting,” Caius said and wiggled his eyebrows at her before he took her lips in another hard kiss before pulling away to make his way down her body.

”Nghhh... It’s not only impossible, it’s what I’ve been trying NOT to do. This way you’ll get exactly what you want,” Arlette said and it was funny how her words sounded argumentative but they came out in such a needy tone, that it seemed she wasn’t at all serious about it. And to be fair, she wasn’t.

It was hard to be serious about anything when Caius was now licking her areola and tickling her nipple in a delectable tease that almost had her pulling at his hair to force his mouth to wrap around the erect nub of erogenous delight.

”Come off it,” Caius said nonchalantly, ”It’s what we both want.”

Arlette had nothing to say to that. She did want it. That was especially made obvious by the way his breath against her breast had her tingling all over.

When he took her nipple into his mouth and began to suck on it, it took so much of her self-control not to lift her body off the sofa cushions completely as she arched her back to push her tit even harder into Caius’s mouth.

After a few minutes of suckling, Caius pulled up and looked her in the face, his purple eyes piercing,

”I can’t help but notice you’re not doing any teaching,” he said with a smirk.

”I told you, it’s—it’s impossible—Ahnnnn—” Arlette struggled to say.

”Come on, you can do it,” Caius said like a coach, ”I believe in you.”

And then he made it even harder for the Alchemy Professor to focus as he increased his pressure against her pussy and took her nipple into his mouth.

”You— You smug— Fucker!— Oh, gods....” Arlette let out almost in a yell as her climax hit her.
