Ascendant Path of a Lustful Vampire

Chapter 65: Galleon’s Gate *

Eloise felt lightheaded. It might have something to do with the fact that she held her breath from the moment Caius’ lips touched hers. Or it might have been the sudden euphoria that swarmed her.

Either way, she suddenly slumped in Caius’s arms and he quickly pulled away to look at her with his eyes widened in surprise and a little worry. He kept her from falling to the ground and just told her with a gentle voice,

”Breathe.”

Eloise took a gulp of air, barely avoiding passing out.

”Thanks,” she said, still sounding breathless.

”First time?” Caius asked even though he was sure he knew the answer to that already.

Eloise nodded.

”Safe to say you liked it?” Caius asked, still with a smile.

”Yes...” Eloise managed to squeak out while nodding a few more times.

”Good,” Caius said with a nod, ”You might even manage not to faint next time.”

Eloise’s face got even redder than it already was at what was essentially a promise that this wouldn’t be the only time he’d kiss her.

”I sure hope so,” she said while nodding, and with her voice much steadier now, she added,

”Would be sooo embarrassing if that happened twice.”

Caius laughed.

”Will you be alright?” He asked, gesturing to his arm still helping her remain upright.

”I’ll be fine,” she said confidently but slipped into a seat because her body just still hadn’t completely adjusted. It felt like her brain was working fast to process what had just happened while her body was slow to the uptake.

When she looked up, Kaya was in Caius’ arms and the two were sharing a kiss. Eloise might have felt a bit jealous that the other girl didn’t get as lightheaded as she did had she not witnessed just how much further the two had gotten. Clearly, a kiss was starting to be routine with the two.

When Caius and Kaya pulled away from their kiss, they had their foreheads pressed together for about half a minute more as Caius looked into her eyes and said,

”We’ll try not to be interrupted next time.”

Kaya let out a little laugh and gave a small nod.

”I’ll make sure we’re not.”

The three left the classroom together the moment Eloise was sure she would not fall over which was pretty quickly, all things considered. With one final wave to them both, Caius watched as they walked away from him down a corridor and headed to their dormitory and after a minute or two, he went his way to one last meeting before he had to go home.

He knocked on Arlette’s door and received the invitation to enter as she, as always, knew it was him.

”Late,” Arlette said, ”Again.”

”I had to say a few goodbyes. Last day of the week and all that,” Caius said and his eyes roamed the Alchemy Professor’s body.

Arlette was leaning against her desk. She wasn’t sifting through notes on her desk—although there were a bunch scattered on top of it—and wasn’t reading through a book. Her arms were just folded beneath her breasts and her eyes were on the door like she had been expecting him. Which of course, she had.

”Break?” She asked.

”Professor Lea Gilligan held me back after class,” Caius said.

Arlette raised a brow then.

”You weren’t with those girls?” She asked.

”They came after that,” Caius said with a smile, ”Also, technically, I was with one of them. The other kind of just crashed the meeting.”

”What did Lea Gilligan want with you?” Arlette asked.

”Help in disposing of the Magical Beasts we used during class,” Caius answered and then added in an offhand tone,

”And to try to get me to embrace/show my ’wild’ side.”

Arlette had raised a suspicious brow already so her mind was likely already on that wavelength because she understood immediately what ’wild side’ Caius was referring to and knew it wasn’t sex.

”And did you?” She asked, ”Did you show her?”

”I just met her,” Caius said, ”So no.”

Arlette nodded.

”Good,” she said.

”What did you think of my Extraction?” Caius asked then. He was close to her now and his hand stroked her cheek, with his finger lightly touching the edge of her lips.

”Huh?” Arlette said and she looked like the question confused her.

”You didn’t give my Extraction a remark in class,” Caius said and leaned in close to press his lips to her neck now,

”I was wondering what you thought of it.”

Arlette eyes closed halfway and her arms dropped from their crossed pose beneath her breasts so she was now gripping the edge of her desk.

”It was great,” she said with a bit of a breathy tone.

”Then why didn’t you say it back then,” he asked, still trailing his lips across her skin.

”Well, I can’t show favoritism,” she said.

Caius laughed now.

”Favoritism is saying the truth?” He said, ”Also, asking me to see you after class kinda contradicts that, doesn’t it?”

”The others don’t know why I said that. As far as they know, I’m telling you how bad a student you are. Hence why I didn’t give a remark. It adds mystery. ’Did she like it?’ ’Did she hate it?’ No one knows,” Arlette said barely holding back a laugh.

”How very sneaky of you,” Caius said with a chuckle himself.

”I am very proud of myself, yes,” Arlette said in jest.

The very next minute, their clothes were flying off their bodies. Their lips were pressed together and their tongues slithered around one another as Arlette pulled away from her desk to push Caius back until he fell into the sofa in her office. She fell on top of him just as quickly and his cock was quickly in her hand to be stroked and prepped for her pussy that just moistened with eagerness to welcome him in.

For over an hour after that, it was thrusting, grunting, and groaning from the two as they twisted about in any way and angle that the space of the sofa allowed them. Almost constantly maintaining their kiss all the while.

When they both climaxed as one, Caius let out his fangs and sank them into the Professor’s neck, letting her blood spill into his mouth and down into his body where its Evolutionary charge continued the ongoing progress he was making into the next Magic Circle.

After about an hour and thirty minutes, they held each other, naked on the sofa. Caius’ cock remained hard between them, not looking like it’d ever be capable of relenting. They hadn’t entirely stopped to he honest, just a quick break that Arlette decided to use to pass on some knowledge.

She tapped Caius’ forehead and Arcane symbols swarmed into his mind before coming together to make a coherent spell circle which carried a whole new series of information that highlighted what spell it was and how it worked.

”~Galleon’s Gate~” Caius named the spell slowly while Arlette nodded against his chest.

”A Third Circle Dark Magic defensive spell,” She said.

”Did you know that I didn’t have a Defensive spell?” Caius asked, incredulous at the idea that it was a coincidence that Arlette decided to offer him the one type of spell missing from his repertoire.

Arlette shrugged.

”I might have guessed it. There have been a lot of details about your Combat Magic and Mage-Knight Training Classes this week and none mentioned a defensive spell.

That said, even if you did have one and just hadn’t used it yet, it can’t hurt to have another.

~Galleon’s Gate~ is the best Defensive spell I have. At the Third Circle, at least. If you’re ever in a jam, it should serve you well.”

”Thank you,” Caius said.

In response, Arlette grabbed the back of his head and pulled him down to join their lips together again before angling herself to put his hard rod right back inside where she believed it belonged.

Caius had informed Gareth and the other guards that he would be late exiting the Academy already in preparation for this so he knew he still had enough time before they grew as impatient as they were yesterday.

He had at least an hour more and as Arlette straddled him and began to gyrate her lower body against his own, it was all too clear exactly how he was going to spend it.
