Ascendant Path of a Lustful Vampire

Chapter 39: True Vampire **

It didn’t sound like a request. More like an order.

”I’m afraid, I can’t,” Caius said with a smile and made to leave when her voice caused him to stop again.

”I saw Kaya Aeisling head over to the Cafeteria with that singing friend of hers. I know you won’t be sitting with them. You’re never sitting with them. Why not sit with me?” Aylin asked with such a perfect smile on her impossibly perfect face.

Caius maintained his expression,

”I’m sorry, I have other plans.”

”Change them. Surely no ’plans’ is more important than us spending... quality time together,” Aylin said and her mouth was slightly open now, her tongue tracing across the underside of her upper teeth.

Anyone else would likely have been giddy at how suggestive ’quality time’ sounded coming off her lips but Caius knew better and knew he had to stand firm.

”You’ve never talked to me before today,” Caius said, ”Why would I change my plans for you?”

”Come on, do it,” Aylin said, and sounded almost pleading,

”Have lunch with me. I’ll make it worth your while.”

She leaned forward and interlocked her hands until her arms were pushing her breasts together, highlighting their jiggle as she began to bounce on the balls of her feet. Caius wondered if she was aware of what she was doing.

”Alright...” he said.

”Great!” Aylin said but Caius wasn’t done.

”... I’ll bring Kaya along. Eloise can join in too. That’s fine, right?” He asked.

”No!” Aylin suddenly snapped as her body froze in place and her icy blue eyes suddenly got colder. She glared but it seemed like it was not at Caius but rather at the very idea of others honing in on their Lunch.

”But it’s just one meal,” Caius said, ”I’m sure they can join for just one Lunch. We can all get to know each other a little better...”

His tone sounded slightly sarcastic but Aylin must not have caught it.

The temperature in the corridor dropped a few degrees due to a chill emanating from Aylin’s body in a surge of anger that took even her group of lackeys by surprise.

”Not them. No one else. Only us. Just us.” She clarified through gritted teeth and with such intensity.

”Uh-huh,” Caius said.

And there it was.

The other reason Caius hadn’t gone for Aylin Khione on the first day of school was because of this. In [To Kill A Demon Lord...], when every other girl had just looked at Caius from afar and accepted quickly that he didn’t want to be close to anyone, Aylin was insistent. And that insistence quickly became an obsession.

The Obsession itself wasn’t entirely a bad thing but to him who was trying to amass multiple Partners he could evolve his Vampirism with, having a girl who didn’t like to share stake a claim on him was problematic.

Aylin was so distracted in her annoyance that he had even suggested they spend their Lunch with two other girls, that she didn’t notice Caius walk past her and her group to quickly head down the corridor before turning a corner and vanishing from sight.

”Aylin, are you—?” One of the girls asked and shivered a bit.

And suddenly, the chill was gone. Aylin perked up and she cocked her head at the spot Caius had been standing at just a minute ago.

”Oh, he’s gone,” she said and then chuckled like she didn’t just go almost nuts in anger,

”Haha, sneaky. But I’ll find you and we’ll finish this.

Come on girls.”

The girls shared looks and then rearranged their expressions as they smiled and followed their queen-bee’s lead.

Caius quickly put the encounter with Aylin at the back of his mind. Not because it wasn’t important but more because there was something far higher on his list of priorities.

He entered Arlette’s office with urgency that she herself could feel. He said nothing and just crossed the room, reached and grabbed her waist to pull her out of her chair before turning her around to seat her on her desk.

”Well, someone’s eager,” Arlette said.

”Oh you have no idea,” Caius said with a smile before he took her lips.

He had waited all day for this. Not just because it was always great to touch and kiss the Alchemy Professor but also because, since yesterday, he had felt his Evolution was nearing a peak.

He had had the whole of yesterday to be sure and now he was. This feeding would finally push him past his limitations and have him become a True Vampire.

He hadn’t told Arlette about it yet though. Mostly because some part of him was anticipating the look on her face when he underwent the transformation right in front of her.

His tongue sought entry into her mouth and Arlette allowed it with one hand on his waist, grabbing his uniform and using it to pull him closer and harder towards her body.

She was dressed in a gown similar in style to what she always which meant it was easy for Caius to unfasten the upper half and get his hands on those tits he never got tired of squeezing and kneading.

Eventually, squeezing and kneading were not enough for him so he took his mouth to them and began to suck like he was hoping to draw milk while Arlette’s hand rubbed through his hair at his scalp in a soothing rhythm.

Arlette felt Caius was being urgent but underneath that urgency, she could detect a purpose. She had no concrete idea of what that purpose was and her mind was quickly going wild in imagination until she was very aware that she and Caius had actually not taken the final step.

The closest they came to it was two days ago during their ’Exchange of Favors’ but then Caius had to leave almost as soon as he fed on her as his custodians had arrived to ferry him home.

The day after, it just didn’t feel as organic so Caius just fed on her as he usually did. Arlette had no idea why they hadn’t done ’it’ yet. It felt like they were waiting for something but she wasn’t sure what it was.

She was going to give this more thought but Caius’ near-incessant sucking on her tit became too distracting. Her body shuddered with every suction and that shudder caused thrills to travel all through her, concentrating at the spot between their legs. She could have sworn she could hear the sounds of her juices moistening her underwear and starting to leak through.

When Caius took one hand off one of her breasts and found his way down between her legs to instantly press the fingers against the dampness, Arlette let out a gasp and arched her back, pushing her breasts even harder into his face. It was like his fingers sent jolts of electricity all over her.

When Caius pulled aside the part of the underwear that was covering the source of the dampness, Arlette let out a gasp as the cool office air touched her. She was feeling so sensitive, that the air almost set her off. Almost.

Caius’s fingers trailed across them, teasing an eventual entry. Urgent as he felt, he still wanted to savor this moment. This was a significant point in his development that he wanted to share with the woman who helped start him on the path.

”Oh—Shit!” Arlette let out and she bucked her lower half at Caius’s hand. Only to do it again and again and again for as many times as she needed to get Caius to stop teasing her.

He chuckled against her breast. The sound, just like his face was almost lost completely absorbed in the ample flesh but it did cause vibrations that only drove Arlette closer to the edge.

”Stop teasing, you Fucker!” She finally said in a laugh that was broken up with groans.

Despite the slight jesting tone, her need was clear so Caius obliged and let his index finger in only for it to be clamped on immediately by her inner muscles that seemed intent on restricting his movement. But of course, Caius found a way.

With a curling of his finger, he touched the spot that robbed Atlette of every bit of restraint she still had.

”FUCK— FUCK... Oh, I’m CUMMINGGG!”

The announcement was followed by a long drawn-out moan that Caius muffled when he took his mouth off her breast and claimed her lips in a hard and passionate kiss.

With his palm pressed against her clit, Caius helped Arlette ride out her climax. But as a hard as his cock became—horny to finally delve into that sopping wet hole still delectably tightening around his finger—Caius had to keep focus.

It wasn’t hard. Her blood was too powerful to resist and the very second he took his lips off Arlette’s lips, his fangs appeared and he sank them into her neck.

The blood spilled out as it had done quite a few times already since they’d known each other. But today was different.

Caius felt it.

He felt the moment his Evolution meter filled up and overflowed.

He felt the moment his Vampiric bloodline finally advanced.

He felt it as he left the moniker and level of ’Vampire Spawn’ behind and claimed the title and power of a ’True Vampire’.

The moment was so powerful that it overwhelmed the taste of Arlette’s blood. He took his fangs out of her, leaned away from her body, and spread his arms.

His bones cracked like they were rearranging within him. His muscles became denser as his body finally not only became strong enough to warrant being a Mage-Knight in training but also acquired the ability to be empowered by Mana.

He felt the ’Arcane Codex’ lose power over him. The symbols within it no longer had the ability to empower him. From now on, only through blood charged with his Evolution Trigger could he advance in Magic Circles.

Veins popped out along his arms in a testament to his budding strength. They were hidden under the sleeves of his uniform shirt and jacket but he felt them.

Claws extended from his fingertips and his eyes gained a deeper tinge of red.

”Caius,” Arlette said breathlessly eyeing him in surprise and a bit of awe, ”You...”

Whatever Arlette said after that faded as the environment around Caius changed. Everything went dark and he was suddenly standing in a shadowy landscape. Arlette wasn’t there. Neither was her office.

But someone was there. Someone with a back covered in a network of ink-black tattoos that seemed to glow a faint red before returning to normal.

She had short black hair in a bob and when she turned to Caius, he saw her eyes were red. Vampire-red.

Caius instantly recognized her from the memories he had inherited and said in a surprising surge of emotions,

”You—!”

The Vampire smiled at him,

”Finally,” she said in a voice tinged with longing as she showed off her fangs,

”I was starting to think this was never going to happen.”
