The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 2066: Chapter 2066: Medicine Bath (Part 1)

”Cough cough.” Yunxiong sat opposite Yang Ruxin, occasionally coughing.

Yang Ruxin frowned at her, ”Princess, why is your health getting worse?” The food therapy recipes she provided, even if they couldn’t cure diseases, should improve physical constitution, so how could it be worsening?

”Ah, I must say, madam’s food therapy recipes are indeed good; I’ve already improved a lot.” Yunxiong smiled, ”But I caught a chill on the way after leaving the capital this time...” As she spoke, she coughed twice again.

A glimmer flashed in Yang Ruxin’s eyes.

”I thought a couple of days’ rest would do, but who knew it would get worse?” Yunxiong coughed, ”Madam, shall I just call you Xinxin? Otherwise, it feels so distant, is that okay?”

”As you wish.” Yang Ruxin nodded, ”It’s just a form of address.”

A hint of disappointment flashed in Yunxiong’s eyes, but she quickly looked up with a gentle smile, ”Xinxin, sometimes I think living is truly meaningless; others see me as glamorous, but... never mind, dragging along this sick body, I don’t even know what I’m living for.”

Yang Ruxin frowned; this noble woman’s eyes held such despair that it shook her. She had no doubt about this woman’s desire to die: ”Princess, how can you think like that? Living is not just for yourself, but also for those who love you.”

”Hehe.” Yunxiong suddenly laughed, ”Someone who loves me?”

Yang Ruxin nodded, ”The Prince is deeply devoted to you; if you die, how much pain will he be in?”

”Yes, it would surely be painful.” Yunxiong’s eyes suddenly became clear, ”I can’t die yet; I’m still needed, cough cough...”

For some reason, Yang Ruxin felt strange and couldn’t help but recall the scars she seemed to have noticed before. Suddenly, she had an idea: ”Princess, I have a medicine bath. If you don’t mind...”

”Medicine bath?” A complex expression flashed in Yunxiong’s eyes.

”Your body is too weak now. If you keep taking medicine, it will worsen the damage to your internal organs...” Yang Ruxin spread her hands, ”This is what my master just mentioned.”

”Your master? He...” Yunxiong was shocked. That Dao Xuzi Divine Doctor had only glanced at her and hadn’t even checked her pulse.

”My master doesn’t need to check the pulse.” Yang Ruxin smiled, ”It’s just the old man’s quirky nature; if I hadn’t agreed to treat you, he wouldn’t have mentioned anything.”

Yunxiong nodded with admiration, ”Truly a Divine Doctor...”

”Madam.” Yunxiong’s personal maid, Chui Zhu, stepped forward, ”Still, you should soak. If it weren’t for your body...” she said, her eyes reddening, ”How rare is this opportunity? Even the Imperial Physicians are at a loss...”

”Alright.” Yunxiong exhaled and then turned to Yang Ruxin, ”Thank you for your trouble, madam.”

Yunxiong actually didn’t want Yang Ruxin to serve her, but the medicine had to be gradually added to the water, and the water temperature had to be controlled, something Chui Zhu couldn’t handle, nor could anyone else. Reluctantly, she undressed in front of Yang Ruxin. Fortunately, there were no marks on her legs or arms anymore; otherwise...

Yang Ruxin’s gaze fell on Yunxiong, a sheet of snow-white skin, without any abnormalities. Could it be she misjudged before?

Yunxiong sat into the bath barrel, immediately letting out a comfortable sigh, feeling unprecedentedly relaxed in her heart.
