The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 2054: Chapter 2054: Impartial Handling

Li Tongzhi was taken aback.

”Who are you? What right do you have...” Leng Haotian really couldn’t take it anymore, what on earth was going on?

Yang Ruxin suddenly turned her head and looked over, ”Just because I am Madam Ruyi, personally appointed by the Emperor.” Saying this, she took out the token, ”Others might not recognize this token, but Lord Li should, right?”

Li Tongzhi thought to himself that indeed it was the case, and he hurriedly knelt down, ”I pay my respects to Madam Ruyi.”

Some of the surrounding commoners had heard of her, but most had not. However, seeing that even the Magistrate was kneeling, they hurriedly knelt down too. After all, this madam was speaking up for the people.

Suddenly, someone in the crowd said, ”Isn’t Madam Ruyi the little Divine Doctor?”

”Yes, it seems that she also produces that medicinal tea.”

”No wonder she can save people who are close to death...”

Leng Haotian’s eyes widened immediately, this...

”You dare not kneel when you see Madam Ruyi?” Gu Qiao came over and kicked Leng Haotian right to the ground.

”If Lord Li does not resolve this case, then I will...”

Li Tongzhi had already returned to his senses, but he no longer had the previous panic, ”Though madam is also an official of the Imperial Court, you shouldn’t overstep your authority, right?”

Yang Ruxin frowned.

”If Madam Ruyi cannot overstep her authority, then what about this Prince?” At this moment, a voice sounded from outside.

Soon, guards came over to separate the crowd, and someone walked in from outside.

”Greetings, Prince.” Yang Ruxin hurriedly bowed, but her mind was pondering why this person came here.

Li Tongzhi was truly breaking out in a cold sweat at this moment. Previously, he had only been bluffed by Yang Ruxin, reacting a bit slowly. After all, her high status notwithstanding, she was merely a farmer’s daughter by birth. But facing this Prince now was different—he was a royal prince.

Once again, the surrounding onlookers were shocked, how could there be another prince?

Especially the injured family who were now at a loss of what to do.

”No need for so much formality.” Qi Jinghao waved his hand directly, ”Lord Li, since this Prince has encountered this matter, I cannot ignore it. After all, the pharmacy is related to the livelihood of this area.”

”Yes, I will handle it immediately.” Li Tongzhi wiped the sweat from his forehead and then stood up.

Qi Jinghao stood beside Yang Ruxin.

In fact, investigating this matter was not difficult, a simple inspection of the Leng Family Pharmacy’s medicines was enough, and they found that many of the medicines inside were counterfeit, like using radish skins to pass off as ginseng slices...

Furthermore, the level of the doctors sitting there was limited. Two of them couldn’t even remember the human acupoints...

Leng Haotian was also sweating at this moment.

”Thank you for your hard work, Lord Li.” Seeing that it was almost over, Qi Jinghao finally smiled, ”As for the sentencing, I believe Lord Li will administer justice impartially, and when the time comes, I will report truthfully to my father, the Emperor.”

”I am humbled.” Li Tongzhi bowed, ”I will certainly handle it impartially.” Saying this, he waved his hand and had all the people from Leng Family Pharmacy taken back to the Governor’s Office and had the pharmacy sealed directly.

The surrounding people cheered at the sight.

”Yuan Zhen.” Qi Jinghao directly called a guard beside him, ”Follow Lord Li and assist him in handling this matter well, at least to give the people an explanation...”

Li Tongzhi swallowed his saliva and dared not say a word of refusal. In this way, he didn’t dare engage in any corrupt actions.
