The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 686: Chapter 686: Not Intentional (3)_1

Yang Ruxin watched the departing figure, her eyebrows raising slightly. She didn’t insist on compensation, as she couldn’t shake the feeling that there was something... odd about the way the person had looked at her. Perhaps, they might meet again.

”Be more careful when walking in the future,” Xu Hui sighed in relief, but she still pulled Xiaofeng over to admonish him, ”How careless can you be? Boys need to learn to be steady...”

Yang Ruxin frowned. She didn’t find Xiaofeng careless, after all, which child isn’t? Xiaofeng was already mature for his age, and she didn’t want her little brother to turn into a little old man; she promptly pulled Xiaofeng over: ”Mom, it’s getting late, let’s hurry home.”

Xu Hui had no choice but to let it go.

Xiaofeng’s mood, however, was somewhat low.

Yang Ruxin intentionally lagged behind with Xiaofeng until they were sure that Xu Hui couldn’t hear them, then squatted down to look Xiaofeng in the eye: ”Little brother, are you still blaming yourself for what just happened?”

Xiaofeng glanced at Yang Ruxin, bit his lip, then nodded: ”Big sister, scold me.”

”Did you bump into that person on purpose just now?”

Xiaofeng shook his head.

”If it wasn’t on purpose, then why should I scold you?”

Xiaofeng looked up, surprised.

”You’re a child, ah. Adults make mistakes too, so it’s normal for children to make mistakes. Besides, if we think about it, I’m your big sister. If you’ve done something wrong, is it also because your big sister hasn’t taught you well? Shouldn’t your big sister also feel guilty? And then...” Yang Ruxin said, pursing her lips exaggeratedly, ”should I also shed ’golden beans’?”

Xiaofeng hurriedly shook his head: ”No.”

”If that’s the case, then shouldn’t you cheer up?” Yang Ruxin smiled, ”It’s okay for you to make mistakes now, as long as you learn from them. If you don’t repeat the same mistakes, then you’re a wonderful child, you know?”

Xiaofeng nodded earnestly.

”It’s enough to feel a bit guilty,” Yang Ruxin pinched Xiaofeng’s nose, ”Now cheer up, my little brother looks the handsomest when he smiles...”

Xiaofeng smiled too. He didn’t quite understand what ’handsome’ meant, but he was sure that whatever his big sister said, it was something good.

”You look so much better smiling like that.” Yang Ruxin stood up and struck a running pose, ”How about we see who can catch up with them first? Whoever falls behind will get a flick on the forehead...” And with that, she took off running a few steps ahead.

”Giggle... I don’t want a flick on the forehead...” Xiaofeng, after all, was only four years old and still a child, was instantly delighted and hurriedly chased after Yang Ruxin. He soon overtook her, ”I’m faster than you...”

”Xiaofeng is amazing, big sister is coming to catch you...” Yang Ruxin suddenly accelerated, then scooped Xiaofeng into her arms and sped off ahead.

Xiaofeng just held onto Yang Ruxin’s neck, giggling away, his laughter carrying far and wide.

The others, waiting for Yang Ruxin, all laughed too. Sanni even turned back and rushed over: ”Big sister, I want to be lifted high too...”

Zhou Ying and Erya then ran over as well.

”Hurry, don’t let them catch us, run...” Yang Ruxin quickly put Xiaofeng down and began running around with the younger ones, gripping his hand.

Sanni joined in pulling Zhou Xiao along, and soon the group was a laughing, frolicking mess.

Not far from the bend, where Yong Cang was supposed to have left, he stood there witnessing the whole scene, his mouth curling up leisurely, his eyes growing softer: ”She is going to be an extraordinary woman.”
