The Feng Shui Treasure Appraiser

270: Chapter 270 Great FortuneRunning away with the dharma instruments?

Han Jingyang smiled, ”Then you two would be quite unwise. I’ve already given you such generous welcoming gifts; as long as you stay here with me for a while longer, why worry about not getting even better things? Taking the risk of being caught by me to run away with the dharma instruments is clearly not worth it.”

Lin Yuelan smiled bitterly, ”Boss, you really are... too generous, generous to the point of being unbelievable. Honestly, I’ve never seen anyone as generous as you. Giving such heavy gifts upon meeting, and counting the two in the box, this means that my sister and I haven’t even done anything yet, and we’ve each already received two dharma instruments.”

Han Jingyang chuckled and waved his hand, ”Alright, just keep that to yourselves. No need to flatter me. Let me tell you, I lack everything except for various dharma instruments. Work hard, and there will be no shortage of benefits for you. If you work for three to five years, it’s not impossible for you to be covered in dharma instruments.”

”Thank you, Boss, hehe.”

”Alright, you two go get busy. If there’s anything, I’ll call you. Remember, keep your phones on twenty-four hours a day, and be ready to come whenever I call.”

”Definitely!”

The Lin Yuelan sisters left.

Shi Xiaoya sat down against Han Jingyang charmingly, ”Hubby~”

Han Jingyang coughed, ”Say what you have to say directly.”

”I want a welcoming gift too.”

”Didn’t I already give you one?”

”That one doesn’t count.”

”You,” Han Jingyang grabbed Shi Xiaoya’s slender neck, lowered his head to kiss her, and after kissing her fiercely for a while, he laughed, ”Don’t be jealous for no reason. This pair of sisters is extraordinary and worth winning over.”

”Oh? How are they extraordinary?”

”They are people with great fortune.”

”Great fortune?”

”Yes, their fortune is like a canopy, the kind that you can’t squander in a lifetime. If they can conduct themselves well, they will only become more wealthy and noble.”

”Can we also benefit from it?”

”Of course. ’Near vermilion, one gets stained red; near ink, one gets stained black.’ This principle is very applicable to Feng Shui. Let’s put it this way: relatives, friends, colleagues, and subordinates are all part of Feng Shui. By associating more with people of great fortune, even if your own luck is bad, it will slowly improve. Understand?”

Shi Xiaoya nodded, ”If my luck is very bad, will being with you make your luck worse?”

Han Jingyang shook his head, ”That’s not necessarily the case. Luck isn’t something like the conservation of energy; it’s more like cause and effect. In some situations, it might implicate me, but in others, it might just make us both better. It’s very metaphysics.”

”Then how is my luck right now?”

”Of course it’s very good. It was already not bad to begin with, but there was that shackle of He Dingkun. Now that you’ve broken through that shackle, everything is improving.”

”What about Sister Liu Jing?”

”Hers is the same, maybe even a bit better than yours.”

”Really?”

”Mm.”

”Hubby, can you help me change my luck?”

”It’s best not to.”

”Why?”

”Because this stuff is very metaphysics. Good now doesn’t mean it will be good later. Just let nature take its course. As long as your luck isn’t terrible, don’t think about changing it, because no one is sure what kind of cause and effect might be waiting for you in the future.”

Shi Xiaoya nodded, then suddenly turned around and straddled Han Jingyang’s lap. She supported herself with her hands on his shoulders, tossed her long hair, gently twisted her slender waist, and asked in a bewitchingly seductive voice, ”Hubby, between me and the Lin sisters, who is prettier?”

Han Jingyang stared at Shi Xiaoya on top of him and subconsciously swallowed a mouthful of saliva, ”You are prettier.”

”Really?”

”Mm, your figure is better.”

”You even looked at their figures?”

”Of course, bone structure is one of the branches of physiognomy.”

”What about Sister Liu Jing?”

”Her? She is also prettier than the Lin sisters.”

”Compared to Sister Liu Jing?”

”You two are on par. You have a better figure, and she has longer legs.”

”Who do you like more?”

Han Jingyang suddenly raised an eyebrow, wrapped his arms around Shi Xiaoya’s waist, and with a fierce crocodile roll, pinned her beneath him, ”Are you rebelling?”

”Is this a question you should be asking?”

”Go three days without a beating and you’ll be tearing down the roof tiles.”

”Let’s see how I punish you, little temptress.”

Han Jingyang pressed Shi Xiaoya down. It was a good thing the soundproofing at Jiguang Zhai was good, otherwise, the neighbors would have heard it long ago.

Liu Jing had already fled at lightning speed when Han Jingyang started acting. She hadn’t experienced anything yet, so how could she dare to watch such a miserable scene?

It was truly too miserable.

Shi Xiaoya couldn’t get up, as if Han Jingyang had extracted all the bones from her body.

”Will you dare again?”

”I won’t dare again, Hubby,” Shi Xiaoya answered weakly.

Han Jingyang nodded in satisfaction.

As expected, a man still needs to be firm—the firmer, the better—otherwise, he will definitely be ridden by women.

After a simple cleanup.

Shi Xiaoya jumped into Han Jingyang’s arms, hung onto him as he walked around, smiling like a love-struck fool, her eyes never leaving Han Jingyang’s face.

Han Jingyang, however, looked impatient; if she was in the way, he would give her a slap.

Until Liu Jing, who had returned from outside, couldn’t bear it anymore and roared, ”You two, enough! Mind the occasion.”

Shi Xiaoya provocatively kissed Han Jingyang on the face, ”What’s wrong with this occasion? It’s so private.”

Liu Jing was so angry that her chest heaved up and down, sparks seemed to fly from her eyes, and she gripped her combat knife tightly in her right hand, looking like she was ready to fight Shi Xiaoya to the death.

Just as Han Jingyang was about to play peacemaker, he saw an acquaintance approaching outside the door.

He was startled, hurriedly threw Shi Xiaoya onto the sofa, assumed an indifferent demeanor, and waved at Sun Fuchang, who was pushing the door open, ”Old Sun, long time no see. Looking at you, have you struck it rich?”

Sun Fuchang’s gaze lingered on Han Jingyang’s face for two seconds, and he also chuckled and cupped his hands, ”Thanks to you, thanks to you, just escaped poverty.”

”It’s good to escape poverty. Hmm, no, this is happiness upon happiness, double happiness. Congratulations, Old Sun.”

”Hehe, truly worthy of being the famous Mr. Han. Your eye for detail is truly sharp.”

”Your demeanor is too obvious,” Han Jingyang said, his gaze falling on the box in Sun Fuchang’s hand, ”What is the meaning of this?”

”Oh, this? I recently acquired a painting, but I can’t quite figure it out, so I wanted to ask you to take a look.”

”Old Sun, you know my level.”

”That’s not what I mean,” Sun Fuchang quickly waved his hand, ”When it comes to appraising antiques, I’m confident I’m a bit better than you, but in other aspects...”

As he spoke, he directly opened the box, ”You’ll know once you take a look. This painting gives me a rather... peculiar feeling.”

Han Jingyang raised an eyebrow, ”You mean, this painting is a dharma instrument?”

”I feel like it has a bit of that vibe. You appraise it and see if it has the potential to become a dharma instrument.”

Han Jingyang shook his head, ”Old Sun, friendship is friendship, business is business. You need to make things clear—what exactly do you want to do?”

Sun Fuchang said decisively, ”Help me perform Consecration on this painting.”

It was obvious that the old man had figured out Han Jingyang’s style of doing things: clear goals, no beating around the bush, asking Han Jingyang to help with Consecration right off the bat.

However, could such a thing be agreed to?

Of course not!

This precedent must not be set!
