Beauty Chairwoman’s Bodyguard Expert

After sensing the fleeting smile on Lin Yafei’s face, Lu Tianxing’s heart skipped a beat, and a strong sense of foreboding erupted in his heart. Instinctively, he wanted to stand up from his seat.

”Lin Demon, my dear wife, I need to go to the restroom urgently. You guys chat first.”

As he spoke, Lu Tianxing planned to slip away. This place felt ominous, and he needed to stay away.

”Little man, why are you in such a hurry to leave? I haven’t properly thanked you yet!”

It was as if Lin Yafei knew what Lu Tianxing was thinking, because before he could stand up, she directly rose from her chair and grabbed his arm, preventing him from moving even a bit.

Lu Tianxing’s face slightly changed. His gaze instinctively swept over to Bai Zhiqing, and he happened to see her displeased expression. Immediately, he said with an awkward smile, ”Uh... wait, Lin Demon, what do you mean? I don’t quite understand. Why are you thanking me, and for what did I do to deserve your thanks?”

”You don’t understand?”

The smile on Lin Yafei’s face grew even more radiant, but she lay on Lu Tianxing like a boneless snake, whispering in a fragrant breath, ”Little man, have you forgotten the moment in the car when we were being all lovey-dovey behind your wife’s back?”

Listening to Lin Yafei’s words, Lu Tianxing felt cold sweat breaking out on his forehead. ”Lin Demon, you can mess around with food, but not with words. When did we ever get lovey-dovey in the car?”

Lu Tianxing was truly scared at this moment; this woman wasn’t playing by the usual rules.

”When did I mess around?”

Lin Yafei looked at Lu Tianxing and said, ”But this was not your fault, it’s all Little Qingqing’s fault. If it weren’t for her, we wouldn’t have gotten all lovey-dovey.”

”My fault?”

Bai Zhiqing widened her beautiful eyes, pointed at herself, and couldn’t help but reveal a puzzled expression. What did this have to do with her?

”Of course it’s related to you.”

Lin Yafei looked at Bai Zhiqing, using a justifiable tone, ”Little Qingqing, this is entirely your fault. Don’t you remember earlier in the car when I was trying to change positions, who made you suddenly turn and have me fall directly onto your man’s chest? My hand even landed where it shouldn’t have. Wasn’t that us being lovey-dovey in the car, and isn’t this your fault?”

After hearing Lin Yafei’s words, Lu Tianxing’s face was full of dark lines, almost falling headfirst on the table. How was that even being lovey-dovey?

”Lin Demon, you’re just being unreasonable.”

After hearing Lin Yafei’s words, Bai Zhiqing got a bit frustrated, and a flame appeared in her eyes: ”Lu Tianxing, aren’t you going to explain this to me?”

Faced with Bai Zhiqing’s killer gaze, Lu Tianxing couldn’t help but shiver. At this moment, he regretted not just sneaking back to Beijing and avoiding any calls to Lin Yafei.

”Wife, please don’t listen to Lin Demon’s nonsense. I had no idea she’d pounce like that. You mustn’t believe Lin Demon’s words. Absolutely nothing happened while we were sitting at the back.”

Lu Tianxing hurried to explain; if he didn’t, he felt Bai Zhiqing’s gaze might just kill him.

”Little man, you truly are heartless, taking advantage and then denying it.”

Lin Yafei looked at Lu Tianxing with a bit of grievance, ”Sure, you had no idea I’d pounce on you, but when I did, you clearly enjoyed it. Tell me, little man, am I wrong?

”Oh, come on!”

Lu Tianxing couldn’t help but curse, this Lin Yafei really didn’t follow the usual rules.

”Wife, don’t listen to Lin Demon’s nonsense. I had no such thoughts. Besides, when Lin Demon pounced over, there was only so much space in the back; how could I have avoided it? I had no choice but to let Lin Demon fall into my arms. Wife, isn’t that the truth? Plus, wife, you know I was sitting there very properly afterward.”

Bai Zhiqing’s face gradually improved after listening to Lu Tianxing’s words, and she wasn’t actually angry about that incident. She was just upset with Lin Yafei’s words because she was the legitimate one, and Lin Yafei dared to act like she owned the place. It was unbearable as if she, Bai Zhiqing, was made of mud. She intended to point out to Lin Yafei that in Lu Tianxing’s heart, Bai Zhiqing was still the most important, and Lin Yafei should stay out of it.

Women are like that; they might not mind sharing cosmetics, jewelry, or anything with friends, but in love, they never back down, even if that person is their best friend; there’s no backing down.

After hearing Lu Tianxing’s explanation, Lin Yafei looked at Bai Zhiqing again, her cunning smile undiminished, and continued, ”Little man, were you really just holding me? Why do I feel like when you were holding me, you secretly pinched my butt? Now be honest with me, do you think my butt is more perky or your wife’s is...”

Before Lin Yafei could finish her sentence, Bai Zhiqing interrupted her unceremoniously, saying, ”Lin Demon, shut up. If you say one more word, I swear I’ll smack you to death.”

”You can’t beat me, ”

Lin Yafei was unconcerned about Bai Zhiqing’s attitude.

”You...”

”Little Qingqing, don’t get mad. So what if your man pinched my butt once? Don’t worry, I don’t mind.”

”Do you think I wouldn’t mind, either?”

”I thought maybe you wouldn’t mind.”

As the tension between the two women seemed to be escalating, Lu Tianxing was filled with a sense of helplessness. At this moment, he truly wanted to slap himself. Why did he have to mention he was hungry? He should’ve gone straight home without stopping.

A top-class restaurant is truly top-class, never letting its guests wait too long.

As Lu Tianxing was pondering how to resolve the tension between the two women, several waiters approached with exquisite dishes, courteously placing them on the table and, after wishing them an enjoyable meal, retreated respectfully.

Lin Yafei also released Lu Tianxing at this time and returned to her seat.
