Chapter 1836  Dragons Vs Tiger (2)

Kiaraʼs eyes returned to normal and calmed down. She looked up at Tang Shaoyang and pleaded, ”I am willingly giving him control over my body, Captain. Please donʼt kill Mathias.”

Mathias had shared some of his past before, and he told her the complete story when he found a chance to fight Thomas once more. Kiara sympathized with what happened to Mathias and willingly let Mathias take over her body. That was what happened, even though she was scared of an emperor, she gave him control.

”Donʼt ever try it again. What if he takes over your body permanently!?” Tang Shaoyangʼs voice was cold with how careless Kiara was.

He was worried that Mathias might take over the body permanently, like how Artrus tried to take over his body. Because of how he inherited Artrusʼ blood and skills, Artrus died. If it happened to Kiara, it might kill Kiara. He knew Mathias did not have an intention to kill Kiara, but his stupid stunt might accidentally kill Kiara.

”He—”

Tang Shaoyang cut her off, ”Stay away from the emperor, and donʼt let Mathias take over your body ever again. Thereʼs an incident where a spirit tried to take over my body, and the spirit failed and died. If Mathias accidentally takes over your body, you might die and Mathias will possess your body.” He explained before sending her off.

Kiara was clearly surprised, not expecting there was such an implication. She could feel Mathiasʼ guilt, and she did not blame Mathias for it because both did not know. She listened to the command and regrouped with the others.

He turned around just to see Avyn was fighting the emperor closely. The swords blurred, striking at Avyn non-stop. However, the sword would bounce back from the ice she created. At the same time, Thomas avoided the ice spikes, bolts, and whatever Avyn threw at him.

Tang Shaoyang activated Third Heavenly Gate - Heavenly Steps: Heavenly Ethereal Shift. His figure blurred into a golden trail and appeared behind Thomas. He was holding the World Destroyer to his left and swung it down at Thomas.

Boom!

The battle axe hit the ground, creating a small crater as Thomas dodged the strike. His figure blurred in shadow and distanced himself from Tang Shaoyang and Avyn, making sure the distance between them was at least fifty meters.

”I think I can freeze him if you can distract him from me,” Avyn muttered in a low voice.

”Then I will distract him and will try my best not to rip him apart, in case he could switch bodies and regenerate from that smaller part.” Tang Shaoyang was holding a battle axe in his left hand, and the sword in his right hand. His figure darted toward Thomas and swung the massive battle axe at the emperor.

Thomas faced the battle axe with his sword, creating a loud clanking noise as his feet sunk to the ground from the impact. He blocked the battle axe with his two swords, and he swung his two remaining swords at Tang Shaoyang.

Tang Shaoyang used [Blink], appearing behind Thomas. At the same time, he used Azure Dragon Bladeʼs skill, [Azure Cutter]. A small version of Azure Dragon coiled around the sword, and he slashed it horizontally.

Thomas turned around and faced the strike with his sword. To his surprise, the sword cut through his sword and his defensive barrier before cutting his body into two. His upper body fell to the side as the lower part bolted away from Tang Shaoyang. The emperor regenerated back from his lower half as he watched Tang Shaoyang burn his dead upper body.

”Of course, he has a God Rank Sword…” Thomas muttered in a low voice as he took out two swords from his inventory and generated another two swords from Void Energy.

He gave a quick glance to the side, where his army was, swarming toward the fallen angel. However, the skeleton army was proven superior to his army. Along with those calamities, none of his void creatures could reach the fallen angel.

Thomas realized that the number alone would not be enough to kill the fallen angel. He was the only one who could kill that fallen angel, but the main problem was that these two dragon bloodlines would not let it happen. He saw what Tang Shaoyang was capable of, obliterating thousands of void creatures with a single skill.

The emperor started regretting sending The King of Elemental back to the Void Realm. His domain got him in the head, and the only way for him to get away was to kill the administrator and the woman before going for the fallen angel.

He took a deep breath as he made a stance, ”I guess I have no choice but to kill you first. Itʼs a pity that I canʼt see your expression when I turn your family into void creatures.”

His hands tripled, and he had three faces. It looked like an illusion, but it looked so real for an illusion. Just the hands and face, he still had two legs. It was not a transformation, but a skill.

Thomasʼ figure disappeared, just like how Tang Shaoyang used [Blink]. However, Tang Shaoyang quickly found where Thomas was with his Chaos Eyes. Thomas was in the air, and there was an image of Thomas himself, but bigger.

Tang Shaoyang did not hesitate to use The Seventh Heavenly Gate - Heavenly Black Tortoise. He formed three layers of shell above him as Thomasʼ figure flashed down. The twelve swords struck down at the shell and destroyed the first two shells, and the third shell cracked.

Thomasʼ figure blurred once more and appeared again ten meters in front of Tang Shaoyang. He swung the twelve swords toward Tang Shaoyang, releasing black crescent energy. In ten seconds, he sent thousands of black crescent blades from his sword at Tang Shaoyang.

The emperor did not stop there as the image of the black tiger appeared behind him along with his original image. He pointed the twelve swords toward where Tang Shaoyang was. He knew that was not enough to kill Tang Shaoyang, and he would use everything to kill the man without giving a chance for Tang Shaoyang to counter him.

His figure blurred into black shadow once more as the black tiger image entered his figure. The roar resounded as he entered the cloud of dust he created.

Boom!

The Void Energy exploded and swept the dust, revealing what happened. Tang Shaoyang was standing with his palm open forward. A thick black shell formed in front of him and blocked the twelve swords. Not even a crack from Thomasʼ sword. His sword and battle axe were stuck in the ground as he focused on creating the shell.

Thomas was shocked that his swords could not break the shell. Then he sensed a danger from above and looked up. A golden palm came down from the sky, descending toward him. He could not dodge the incoming palm, facing up, he swung his swords upward.

The golden palm and the sword collided, and Thomas held the golden palm with his sword. He roared and cut through the golden palm. The golden palm dispersed, and he immediately turned toward Tang Shaoyang. Only to be greeted with another palm that shone in golden light. The palm hit his face and sent him flying backward.

His hand returned back to four only, and his three faces also went along with his bigger image behind him. He landed on his feet, skidding through the ground. Blood trickled down from his nose, but he was greeted with a sword.

His body recoiled backward, but the tip of the sword cut through his chest. Then he saw the battle axe coming from above. He gripped his sword tightly and slashed upward.

Clank!

He stopped the battle axe with his four swords as his feet sunk down to the ground. He expected another strike, but he felt a bone chilling cold on his ankle. Looking down, his feet were frozen, and spreading upward as if it tried to freeze him.

Thomas was about to use his movement technique but quickly realized that the ice stopped him from moving. He cut his legs with no hesitation, cutting into his shins, and escaped. His figure blurred into shadow and moved around, waiting for his legs to regenerate. However, the administrator followed his movement, and by the time he stopped, Tang Shaoyang was right on his face, grinning ear to ear.

”This is getting more exciting.”

Thomas was shocked to see the crazed look on Tang Shaoyangʼs face. This was a battle of life and death, and the man in front of him was getting excited from it. He did not have time to think about useless things such as the sword coming for his face.

He parried the sword and was about to strike the crazed man with his remaining three swords, but he quickly noticed a hundred of black blades surrounding him. He formed a barrier with Void Energy, locking himself in his own barrier. However, The Chaos Blade pierced through the barrier, a hundred blades tore apart the barrier.
