Reincarnated as a Mosquito, the School Beauty I Sucked to Tears is a Reborn Empress

(P.S. Due to unavoidable circumstances, I’ve had to make changes. I can’t write about ’that’ or ’international students’.)

The giant cockroach was, of course, Chu Sheng.

He stood atop the Thousand Feather Snow Eagle’s head, looking down on the group of foreign geniuses.

’Island Country people? Koreans? Even though they’re all from Asia, I can tell them apart at a glance.’

’Where did these damn foreigners come from? Looking for trouble?’

’Don’t they know the Beast Taming Academy is under this bug’s protection now?’

He chuckled inwardly and twitched his antennae. At once, the dense horde of Demon Beasts surged forward again, instantly surrounding the foreign geniuses.

The Demon Beasts looked ferocious, roaring and snarling, seemingly unable to hold back from charging in and tearing the students to shreds. The drool from one giant ape even splattered across a Korean genius’s face.

This time, the foreign geniuses were truly frightened. A moment ago, they had the numerical advantage, but now the Demon Beasts outnumbered them several times over, and none of them were low-level! Demon Beasts weren’t human. If they truly went berserk, they wouldn’t show any mercy. They’d be goners for sure!

Cai Yu, incredibly tense, hurried forward and shouted to Su Li:

”Su Li, don’t do anything reckless! Get your academy’s Demon Beasts to stand down!”

The girls from the Beast Taming Academy were thrilled to see their Contracted Beasts arrive. Su Li glanced at the giant cockroach on the Thousand Feather Snow Eagle’s back, pursed her lips, and said:

”Hmph. It’s not like I can control them.”

She wasn’t calm on the inside, either. ’I only summoned my Thousand Feather Snow Eagle; I never expected so many other Contracted Beasts to appear.’

’Being backed up by so many Contracted Beasts... feels pretty good!’

It wasn’t just Su Li; the girls behind her were also inexplicably touched. As Beast Tamers, they were constantly overlooked and disrespected. They had thought today would be just another instance of them being silently bullied. But now, their Contracted Beasts were here, genuinely standing up for them.

A few of the girls’ eyes were even glistening with unshed tears.

Just then, the Island Country genius who had been about to draw his sword asked nervously:

”What are you trying to do?”

”How barbaric! Is this how the Great Xia People treat their guests?”

”I... I’m warning you, don’t try anything funny!”

”Fight me one-on-one if you’ve got the guts! What’s so great about relying on a bunch of Demon Beasts?”

Su Li laughed in exasperation.

”We’re Beast Tamers. What’s wrong with relying on our Contracted Beasts?”

”Now, I’ll ask one more time. Does anyone else still want to live here?”

With the Contracted Beasts Chu Sheng had brought to back her up, Su Li’s tone grew increasingly confident.

By this point, most of the foreign geniuses were starting to back down. But the genius from the Island Country couldn’t afford to lose face and stubbornly retorted:

”Beast Tamers? Heh, no wonder.”

”You Beast Tamers are so weak. No wonder you can only resort to brutish tactics like ganging up on us!”

”Hmph. If you have any real skill, why not follow the Samurai Dao of my Great Island Country and face me in a fair, one-on-one duel?”

”Do you dare?”

Su Li had been fuming for a while now. Hearing this, she immediately took a step forward.

”Why wouldn’t I dare!”

”A duel it is! You think I’m afraid of you? If you lose, you’ll get the hell out of here and never set foot in the Beast Taming Academy again!”

Chu Sheng, listening from the side, wanted to stop her, but he couldn’t speak!

’Wait, why a duel?’

’To hell with that Samurai Dao bullshit. If these clowns won’t leave, we just surround them and beat them up. Problem solved. I brought these Demon Beasts for a group beatdown, not a duel.’

’Sigh, she’s still too young. If it were Gu Yuexi, the Reborn Empress, she would’ve already found an excuse to attack.’

...

The Island Country genius’s name was Ryuzaki Ichiru. When he heard Su Li agree to a duel, a triumphant gleam flashed in his eyes.

”Heh, good. Are those your words?”

”Miss, to be honest, I quite admire you. May I ask your name?”

Su Li said impatiently:

”You don’t need to know my name. If you want to fight, then hurry up!”

Ryuzaki Ichiru smiled and said:

”No rush. I actually heard your name earlier. Miss Su Li, was it?”

”Miss Su, as you said, if I lose, I will never set foot here again. But what if *you* lose?”

”If you lose, perhaps you’ll agree to be my personal study partner? You see, I’m new here and am in great need of a pretty partner’s assistance.”

”Since Miss Su is so confident, surely you wouldn’t be afraid to accept?”

Su Li had completely lost her patience. All she wanted was to teach the Island Country man before her a harsh lesson, so she replied without hesitation:

”Of course, I dare! Why wouldn’t I, Su Li—”

Hearing this, Chu Sheng was so furious he smacked the Thousand Feather Snow Eagle hard on the head.

Thousand Feather Snow Eagle: ?

’Seriously? How can Su Li be so simple-minded? She’s letting him lead her by the nose.’

’He wants a duel, so you just agree to a duel?’

’He wants to add stakes, so you just agree to add stakes?’

’Fine, a duel is one thing, and adding stakes is another, but these stakes are obviously not equal.’

The Thousand Feather Snow Eagle, having been smacked on the head by Chu Sheng, couldn’t help but let out an aggrieved squawk.

It was precisely this cry that interrupted Su Li’s words.

Immediately, Su Li faintly sensed the Thousand Feather Snow Eagle’s emotions through their Blood Covenant.

”SKREEE! (Big Bro says... Master is an idiot... Big Bro also says... raise the stakes.)”

Su Li was stunned for a moment, glanced at Chu Sheng, and then continued:

”There’s nothing I, Su Li, wouldn’t dare.”

”If I lose, I’ll do as you say. But if *you* lose, not only will you get out of the Beast Taming Academy, but you’ll also... leave something of yours behind. How about that sword in your hand?”

Hearing this, Ryuzaki Ichiru was taken aback. He hesitated for a moment, then said with confidence:

”Haha, fine! Then it’s a deal!”

...

...

...

「Hong Kong Island University, Administration Building, Conference Room.」

A meeting regarding the upcoming Academy Grand Competition was being held here.

The Academy Grand Competition was one of Hong Kong Island University’s most important annual events, so nearly all of the university’s senior leadership was in attendance.

「During a break in the meeting.」

Zhao Hongwu’s phone rang. He picked it up, and as he listened to the anxious words from the other end, his brow gradually furrowed.

After hanging up, he strode swiftly over to Shepherd Mountain and said furiously:

”Shepherd Mountain, what do your students think they’re doing?! Openly defying university orders and gathering a massive number of Demon Beasts to attack our specially invited geniuses from various countries?!”

”Tell your students to stop this nonsense at once, obey the arrangements, and, for now, let the specially invited students stay in Apartment 41!”

Shepherd Mountain was stunned.

’Specially invited students? Apartment 41... isn’t that the girls’ dormitory for the Beast Taming Academy?’

He looked at the furious Zhao Hongwu and said:

”Dean Zhao, don’t you think your arrangements are a bit unreasonable?”

Zhao Hongwu sneered:

”Or what? Your Beast Taming Academy is the most useless department in the entire university, yet it takes up the most space. I’m simply making rational use of campus resources. Is there a problem with that?”

Shepherd Mountain’s face was calm. He didn’t speak, but instead called over a nearby teacher:

”Teacher Li, could you please return to the academy and tell the students something for me.”

”Tell them that I, Shepherd Mountain, give my unconditional support to whatever they do today.”

”Shepherd Mountain!”

Zhao Hongwu roared.

”Do you have any idea what you’re doing? A conflict could erupt over there at any moment! If something happens, can you bear the responsibility?”

Zhao Hongwu was beyond furious. Even though they were both deans, Shepherd Mountain had always been meek and deferential in his presence. He never imagined the man would dare to ignore him today!

Shepherd Mountain turned his head and stared at Zhao Hongwu:

”Dean Zhao, I don’t mind if a conflict breaks out right here, either.”

”My partner has been slumbering for a long time. Perhaps it’s time to let it out to stretch its legs.”

As he spoke, Shepherd Mountain’s hand came to rest on the Beast Taming Pouch at his waist.

”You!”

”Fine, Dean Mu! You just wait!”

Zhao Hongwu stared at Shepherd Mountain’s hand, but ultimately said nothing more. He left with a cold snort.
