Reincarnated as a Mosquito, the School Beauty I Sucked to Tears is a Reborn Empress

Mu’s Spirit Plant Manor was a major enterprise belonging to the Mu Family, one of the Ten Great Clans of Hong Kong Island.

The Spiritual Plant industry had always been one of the Mu Family’s most important businesses. The Mu Clan not only held a near-monopoly on the Spiritual Plant and Spirit Medicine market on Hong Kong Island, but they also supplied the mainland and even exported overseas.

Chu Sheng had originally only intended to ask about the Spirit Plant Garden within Hong Kong Island University, but he hadn’t expected to inadvertently overhear news about Mu’s Spirit Plant Manor...

The manor was said to be frighteningly large, and all sorts of High-Level Spirit Grasses were grown there. Rumor even had it that the Mu Family had spent many years cultivating a single Eighth-Grade Spirit Grass...

’Well, what’s there to even think about? Bigger is obviously better.’

’Wait a minute!’

’Mu Clan... The Mu Family?’

A name suddenly flashed through Chu Sheng’s mind.

Mu Linyuan.

He was that punk from the Tri-Province Examination Secret Realm who had tried to take advantage of his injuries and launch a sneak attack.

Back then, the little bastard had escaped using a strange Jade Pendant from his family. Before he left, he’d even had the gall to spout some threatening words, not knowing what was good for him.

’That kid is also from the Mu Family? And a direct descendant at that?’

’Now this is interesting.’

’In that case, this Lord Mosquito will just have to pay a visit to your family’s Spirit Plant Garden for a proper feast!’

...

After leaving the ”Contracted Beast Record Challenge” venue, Chu Sheng found a deserted corner, switched into his Little New Roach Battle Treasure form, and flew off campus.

However, once he was off campus and looking at the bustling, traffic-filled streets, Chu Sheng was a bit dumbfounded.

’Wait, which way is Mu’s Spirit Plant Manor?’

’Hong Kong Island is huge. Even if I used my Nether Vision to search, it would take forever.’

’Most importantly, as a little cockroach, it’s not like I can ask for directions.’

In a corner of the street, Chu Sheng stroked his double ponytail-like antennae. After thinking for a moment, he finally made a decision—he would hail a cab!

’What’s that? You’re asking how a cockroach can hail a cab?’

’Then this Lord Mosquito will show you exactly how it’s done!’

Chu Sheng watched for a moment until he saw a vacant taxi parked by the curb, then flew over to it.

Once beside the car, he swiftly pulled the door open, slipped inside, and quickly shut it again, all in one smooth motion.

Inside, the driver heard the noise and subconsciously assumed someone had gotten in. He called out lazily:

”Where to?”

No one answered from inside the car.

The driver finally registered the silence and glanced at his rearview mirror... It was completely empty.

He jumped in fright. When he collected himself, he exclaimed:

”Whoa! Are you kidding me? Am I seeing a ghost in broad daylight?!”

Then, something even stranger happened. The phone mounted in front of the driver’s seat suddenly came to life on its own. It automatically opened the navigation app and typed in four words: ”Mu’s Spirit Plant Manor.”

The driver was now trembling with fear. He tried to get out of the car, but found the door was stuck shut!

With no other choice, he had to bite the bullet and take the fare.

”Mr. Ghost, Mu’s Spirit Plant Manor, is it? I... I’ll go right now. Please don’t play games with me.”

With a WHOOSH, the taxi shot forward and sped away.

From his hiding spot behind the driver’s seat, Chu Sheng wore a satisfied smile.

’See? That’s how you hail a cab!’

The ”supernatural” events in the car were, of course, all his doing.

Ever since his Mental Power had surpassed 2000 (the threshold for the Third-Grade Early Stage), Chu Sheng could easily perform some of the basic abilities of a Spiritual Mind Master, like telekinesis.

Just now, he had used his Spiritual Telekinesis to jam the door locks and remotely type the address into the phone.

’If I were a bit more skilled, I feel like I could even drive the car with my Spiritual Telekinesis...’

Terrified, the driver floored it. He drove like a bat out of hell and quickly reached the location of the Mu Manor.

...

After Chu Sheng got out, he watched the taxi execute a perfect drift around a corner and vanish from sight.

Mu’s Spirit Plant Manor was located in the New Territory region of Hong Kong Island and covered an enormous area.

The entire manor was enveloped in a special material, making it look like a giant egg from the outside.

A Ninth-Grade Array, the ”Nine-Turn Spirit Gathering Array,” was laid out beneath the entire manor, gathering Spiritual Qi from dozens of miles in every direction.

More importantly, the site possessed a natural Spiritual Spring, which was the primary reason the Mu Clan had established their Spirit Plant Manor here and had been able to grow it to such a scale.

For a manor of this scale, the security measures were naturally top-notch. Besides various high-tech facilities, the manor also employed numerous powerful experts to oversee security.

Not only that, but the manor was also protected by various high-level arrays, including Illusion Arrays and Defense Arrays. Since its founding, Mu’s Spirit Plant Manor had never once suffered a serious theft or robbery.

Chu Sheng, however, knew none of this.

He only knew one thing: he had to find a way inside.

Since the entire manor was enclosed, entering from the air was impossible.

So, Chu Sheng thought of his first method: digging.

However, he quickly failed. The material enveloping the manor was incredibly sturdy and equipped with an alarm system.

Tunneling horizontally was a no-go, so he decided to dig straight down. Chu Sheng began to burrow into the earth, planning to get in from underground.

’Of course, I don’t have to do the digging myself!’

First, he dispatched a few insect minions from his Nether Flame Insect Nest to block the external surveillance cameras.

Then, a flood of Insect Race Demon Beasts poured out from the Nether Flame Insect Nest!

’Dig with all your might!’

Tens of thousands of Insect Race Demon Beasts quickly excavated a vertical wormhole.

After the wormhole was dug, Chu Sheng ordered the insects blocking the cameras to move some sod to conceal the entrance. They were also to hide in the grass and act as lookouts.

The wormhole extended straight down... ’Damn,’ he thought. They had dug down more than two hundred meters, and the defensive wall was still there.

’The defensive wall of Mu’s Spirit Plant Manor actually extends hundreds of meters underground?’

’Hmph. Keep digging!’

’This Lord Mosquito refuses to believe you can extend it infinitely deep. Is the material for this wall free or something?’

’What a joke! With a full sixteen thousand Peak of Second-Grade insect minions, digging a hole is child’s play!’

’Besides, they’re all tiny, so the tunnel only needs to be small...’

Soon, under Chu Sheng’s command, the tunnel reached a depth of a full thousand meters. Here, the underground defensive wall of Mu’s Spirit Plant Manor finally came to an end.

’Alright, next up is to dig horizontally, then straight up!’

...

「An hour later.」

On the grounds of Mu’s Spirit Plant Manor, in its outermost zone, a tiny hole less than five centimeters in diameter appeared. A moment later, two cockroach antennae poked out from within.

No one in sight. ’It’s safe.’

Chu Sheng didn’t rush out. Instead, from inside the hole, he activated his Nether Vision!

Instantly, an area with a 1,200-meter radius was enveloped by his Spiritual Vision...

’Huh?’

Chu Sheng frowned, slightly surprised.

’My Nether Vision is being interfered with. It’s a little blurry, and the areas deeper inside seem to be shielded somehow.’

’Is it some kind of spiritual Array meant to block prying eyes? Looks like the defenses of this Mu’s Spirit Plant Manor really are top-notch.’

’But so what? I still got in, didn’t I!’

Chu Sheng scrambled out of the small hole, and his eyes were met with vast fields of all kinds of Spirit Grass and Spirit Medicine, all overflowing with Spiritual Qi.

’Holy crap! What am I waiting for?!’

’Open fire! Bah, I mean, start slurping!!!’
