“It’s definitely related to those mobs, but we can’t rule out the possibility that some officers are stealing from themselves!”The officer said.

“Stealing from themselves? ! Damn it! I was just about to punish those moths!”Colonel Kono was furious when he heard that, previously, he had heard that some officers were stealing and selling food and ammunition, but in the end, he didn’t have the time to deal with them. He didn’t expect that this time, this group of moths would actually bring him down!

“Find them and their families, I want to hang them!”Colonel Kono Roared.

Soon, a large number of military police swarmed out. The troops guarding the warehouse were easy to investigate, but those officers and soldiers had already run away with Andrea, so there was no place to catch them.., however, the families of these soldiers were miserable. They did not want to be like the officers, who had the chance to take their families with them.

Thus, the families of these soldiers became Colonel Kono’s punching bag.

In the square in the center of the city, Colonel Kono hanged the families of these soldiers. Not only their parents, wives, and children, but also their aunts, aunts, and relatives within several generations were all sent to the execution ground!

Under the fury of Colonel Kono, everyone in the city was in danger!

To put it bluntly, Colonel Kono was still a rude soldier. He was a talent in the war, but when dealing with these matters, he was too emotional. He didn’t think too much about many things and directly gave orders.

This time, although he hanged thousands of people in one go, greatly increasing his prestige and making the common people fear him, it also made everyone in the city panic. and the most fatal thing was.., colonel Kono’s large-scale operation, the underlying reason for it also spread.

All the supplies had been stolen. The entire city had no food, no supplies to be served, and everyone had nothing!

Now, there were two ways in front of Colonel Kono. He could continue to distribute the supplies according to the rations, but the remaining supplies were only 20% . If he continued to distribute the supplies like this, although it could appease the people’s hearts, he would soon exhaust everything.

The second option was to reduce the rations. With the current supplies reserves, it was impossible to ensure that everyone would be full. Therefore, he could only maintain that everyone would not starve to death. He had to endure this for now, wait until Colonel Kono recovered the lost supplies, or wait until the next harvest.

These two options had pros and cons. The first option was a gamble. If Colonel Kono did not recover the lost supplies in time, and if he did not defeat the rebels in the slums in time, then his ruling region would completely collapse.

The second path was relatively safe, but it would also make him feel uncomfortable because there was too little grain left. In order to ensure that he could survive until the next harvest, Colonel Kono could only cut everyone’s quota. In that case.., he could not even guarantee the combat effectiveness of the army.

In the end, Colonel Kono met with his officers and implemented the third plan, which was the combination of the first two plans. He would restrict the rations of the common people, and the army’s rations would be distributed as usual. This way.., the problem that Kono faced was that since he could not persist until the next harvest, the people would also be dissatisfied with him.

However, Colonel Kono still had some ability. He could at least see the direct way to solve the crisis — to destroy the rebel army and take back the rations that they had taken away.

Although some officers had said that the rations might have been stolen by the officers guarding the warehouse, the rations would still end up in the hands of the rebel army. After all, it was useless for those officers to get so much food, they did not dare to sell it to Colonel Kono again, so the final sale was only to the rebel army in the slums.

“Gather the troops! Attack the slums!”Colonel Kono gathered almost all the troops and the army directly moved to the edge of the slums.

However, because of the two-day pause, Lina had long led the rebel army to rebuild the barricades and various fortifications. If the military and police wanted to attack, they had to start again!

“Boom Boom Boom…”the rumbling sounds of cannons rang out near the slums, and the military police launched an attack.

This time, the military police’s pace of attack was much faster, because the resistance of the rebel army did not seem to be as firm as before!

“What’s the situation?”Colonel Kono frowned. This battle was much simpler than he had imagined.

..

“Miss, do we still need to retreat?”At this moment, Doros was also asking Lina.

“It doesn’t matter. have our women, children, and non-combatants all evacuated?”Lina asked calmly, as if the rumbling sound of the cannons did not exist.

“They have all evacuated. They are already stationed in the suburbs. There is sufficient food and supplies there!”Doros said.

“Then we can fight without any worries!”Lina nodded, and then she stood up, behind her, the soldiers with weapons in their hands shouted, “Brothers, for your families, to feed and clothe them, to prevent them from being exploited and oppressed! Hold onto the guns in your hands! Fight for a Happy Tomorrow!”

“Fight for Tomorrow!”All the volunteer soldiers roared like thunder!

“Swish!”Lina waved her hand. Almost 50,000 volunteer soldiers followed their leader and quickly blended into the streets of the slums.

Although they had the advantage in numbers, due to the great difference in military literacy, the equipment was too outdated, and they were extremely short of heavy weapons and mechs. Therefore, Lina did not plan to fight head-on with the military police, she taught the guerilla tactics that she learned from Jiang Fei to her core members. Then, she had them lead the ordinary armed members to form a hundred-man guerilla unit in the streets of the slums, they would fight guerilla warfare with the military police!

Once the guerilla warfare started, it would actually be a battle of attrition. Because the guerilla units were almost all sneaky and sneaky, a few of the military police would die if they were not careful. As a result, Colonel Kono, who originally did not have the advantage in numbers, would soon feel the pressure, he would soon feel the pressure.

On the other side, the military police were enjoying the thrill of victory. All of a sudden, cold shots were fired from the street corners or rooftops. These military police were scared out of their wits, although the marksmanship of the rebel army was not worthy of praise, these cold shots alone were enough to make the military police, who were advancing quickly, hesitate.

After all, no one wanted the next shot to hit their own heads!

“Damn it! who fired? Where are the enemies?”The officers frowned behind the cover, they ordered their soldiers to continue moving forward, but the soldiers were not stupid. They were all dawdling, and no one was willing to go out and die.

“Energy cannon suppression for one round!”Helpless, the officers could only use the energy cannon to open a path. After a round of cannon fire, the cold shots were indeed suppressed, but the police officers did not even take a few steps forward when the cold shots in the corner sounded again.
