After obtaining the approval of the consul, Jiang Fei returned to his office and passed on the decree.

As the decree was passed on to all the shops on the ground floor, the owners of those shops were all cursing. Nowadays, the currency was depreciating every day. Even if the government was still strongly endorsing the currency.., however, because the circulation of the currency far exceeded the capacity of the economy, the depreciation of the currency was inevitable.

At the beginning, there were indeed people who refused to accept the banknotes, and then the people on the ground would quit. They had waited so long for the banknotes to be able to buy things, so how could they tolerate the merchants not to accept them? Therefore, there was immediately a report, followed by the arrival of the military police. The shop owner was arrested, and then sentenced to heavy duty.

After learning from the previous experience, the other bosses did not dare to refuse. Although they deliberately lowered the purchasing power of the banknotes, they were still unable to withstand the daily depreciation of the banknotes. Therefore, the more these merchants sold, the more they lost, however, if they did not open their businesses, the military police would come to them again, so in the end, they had to resort to limited sales to stop their losses.

However, the more limited these shops were, the more common people would not be able to buy things. The depreciation of the paper currency was even more serious. Although the paper currency was still in circulation under the government’s mandatory order, its purchasing power was already less than one-thousandth of the original.

In just a few days, the purchasing power of the paper currency was less than one-thousandth of the original purchasing power. This made it even more difficult for the poor and destitute common people to live after the debt crisis. Many people even began to sell their children, the worst part was that they almost had to change their children to feed themselves.

The worst part was that when society was in turmoil, it was also when humanity was at its darkest. The officials in charge of the tax collection had also started to have their own devious ideas. Originally, Jiang Fei’s decree.., the government’s taxes and fees could all be paid with paper money. This could at least reduce the pressure on some merchants.

However, after these tax officials had a devious idea, when they were collecting taxes, they began to refuse to accept currency. Instead, they asked the merchants to pay taxes with moon crystals because they didn’t know that this was the private behavior of the officials, those merchants all thought that this was an order from the government, so they all dared to be angry but didn’t dare to say anything.

The most hateful thing was that when these officials were collecting moon crystals as taxes and fees, they actually requested to use an open exchange rate. One had to know that in the government’s open exchange rate, the ratio of moon crystals to currency was still 1:1,000!

At this time, the purchasing power of the currency had already fallen to less than 1/1,000. The merchants had collected a large amount of currency, so they had to pay an extremely high amount of taxes. Originally, according to the government’s regulations, they could just hand over the paper currency, although it would be a loss.., but at least the tax rate would not change, and it would still be carried out according to the original percentage.

But now, those low-level officials had requested them to use the moon crystals to pay taxes according to the official exchange rate. All of a sudden, these merchants were screwed. That was equivalent to them paying 1,000 times more taxes, and the merchants’profit margins.., their turnover wasn’t even that high!

For a time, the low-level merchants went crazy. In just a few days, the small merchants who could barely survive had all gone bankrupt, while those low-level officials earned a lot of money, because when they put the tax revenue into the treasury.., but the paper money they used could easily cover up the tax revenue with a few monthly crystals.

In such a dark environment, the entire gamma space was filled with complaints. Almost no one did not scold the government. However, because the military was still firmly in the hands of the higher-ups, the people could only live on with their lives.

..

“This brocade pouch should be able to be opened, right?”Because Jiang Fei had prepared enough paper money and lunar crystals for her, Lena’s life was not bad. She could even support the hoodlums under her.

Under Lena’s hands, they could at least eat their fill. They could even bring back enough food for their families. This made the hoodlums even more loyal to Lena, although the hoodlums did not have the heart to die for anyone, they could still risk their lives for their families to eat their fill.

In her own room, Lena quietly opened the second brocade pouch.

“Go to XXX to withdraw money, expand the club, and prepare for the revolution. Be careful not to get caught!”

The contents of the note were very short, but it allowed Lina to know what she should do next.

That night, Lina quietly went to the location that Jiang Fei had mentioned. Jiang Fei had stored a large amount of moon crystals and paper money here. There was no need to mention the moon crystals. Back then, Jiang Fei had robbed the eleventh underground floor of the Life Building, he had obtained nearly one-third of the moon crystals. It could be said that he was the richest person in the entire gamma dimension.

In fact, if Jiang Fei wanted to, he only needed to take out this money. He could calm down this economic crisis. However, this crisis was created by him alone. Therefore, how could he calm it down?

The paper money was also obtained by Jiang Fei legally. Previously, when the Moon Crystals Futures were at their peak, there were countless people lining up to buy orders. At that time, Jiang Fei had earned a large sum of money.

At that moment, the money became the starting capital for Jiang Fei’s revolution. Revolution sounded hot-blooded, but it was also extremely expensive.

After obtaining the money, Lina divided the money into several portions and hid them in different places. She knew very well that eggs could not be placed in the same basket.

With the support of the money, Lina began to expand her team without any restraint. Moreover, she also listened to Jiang Fei’s instructions and hid herself behind the scenes. Because Lina could provide real lunar crystals.., therefore, a large number of people began to join her club.

Especially in the slums, Lina had become the queen of this place. Although no one knew where the queen was, everyone was willing to risk their lives for her in order to feed their family.

The magistrate did not pay much attention to the slums, but there was such a huge super club with hundreds of thousands of members. If the magistrate did not pay attention to it.., then he would not be able to sit firmly on the chair under his butt.

So a large number of military police went straight to the slums. They arrested a large number of members of the club and threatened everyone not to join this illegal organization, but there was almost no effect, this was because obeying the law could not fill the stomachs of the people in the slums. They were now penniless. Only Lina could give them money and let them eat their fill!

Therefore, no matter how the military police officers arrested them, these people were willing to join Lina’s community because otherwise, they would starve to death.

The military police spent a lot of effort. However, because Lina herself had received professional training and her father had done this in the past, she hid very well and made the military police officers plan to arrest her several times but came back empty-handed.
