“Err…”Anita was rendered speechless by Jiang Fei’s words. She had indeed reminded her boss out of kindness. However, what Jiang Fei said made sense. Jiang Fei was now the second most powerful person in the entire gamma dimension, other than the Archon, he was the most powerful person.

Moreover, before the purge, Jiang Fei had already consulted the Archon and received his approval. Now, the Archon’s trusted aides had been transferred out in advance. The remaining people were obviously abandoned by the Archon, even if these people had backgrounds and backers, would Jiang Fei care about them and their backers?

Although Anita still felt that Jiang Fei’s action would not be a problem for the time being, it would also offend too many people. It would definitely be disadvantageous to him in the future. However, Jiang Fei’s attitude was so firm. As his subordinate, Anita.., it was not right for her to go too far.

As for Jiang Fei, he had never thought of replacing the Archon as the ruler of this world. He did not even intend to stay in the gamma space for long. Therefore, for him, the trouble in the future was equal to no trouble at all, now, he wanted to do everything he wanted to do in the shortest time possible.

Amidst the shouts and curses, the officers from the engineering department were all captured by the military police. This caused the officers from the other departments to keep quiet out of fear, no one knew if Lord Ralph would be angry at them as well.

“Anita, inform all departments to transfer a batch of officers to the engineering department. I need the engineering department to resume normal operations tomorrow. Everything else can be put on hold. The construction of the life extension center can not be delayed for even a day!”Jiang Fei ordered.

“Yes!”Anita nodded and went to draft the documents.

On the other side, Jiang Fei followed the military police to the outside of the city hall. At this time, the engineering department officers had already been escorted here.

“Send them to the prison. You will be personally responsible for guarding it. No one is allowed to visit, and no communication is allowed between them! Do you understand?”Jiang Fei said.

“Understood!”The military police answered loudly. They did not care who the officials were or who their backers were. The order was to arrest and detain them, the military police could just listen to the order.

Soon, the officials from the Ministry of Engineering were escorted away. As for who would interrogate them and what kind of charges they would be charged with, Jiang Fei did not care. His goal had been achieved, although he had taken down the monkey mountain this time, how could the officials who were added in later not take it as a warning?

As for whether the officials were greedy or not in the future, that was not Jiang Fei’s concern. What he cared about was that the duration of the life extension center could not be delayed. He needed to find a way to recover Natasha’s memory as soon as possible, then, he could start the ultimate plan.

After the engineering department officials were sent to prison, Jiang Fei turned around and returned to his office.

On the way back to his office, Jiang Fei found that the originally lively city hall had suddenly become much quieter. The officials who liked to visit and chat in the lounge while smoking had disappeared, these guys were all hiding in their own offices. Some were really busy, some were pretending to be busy. In any case, all of them looked like they were very conscientious. They did not have the lazy air of the past.

“HMPH! A bunch of vermin!”Jiang Fei sneered, he was not interested in these officials. As long as these idiots did not get in his way, Jiang Fei would turn a blind eye. After all, he did not come to gamma space to clean up the atmosphere.

In the afternoon, Anita came to Jiang Fei’s office.

“Boss, each department has given a list of the names of the people to be transferred. However, these guys are generally of lower levels,”Anita said as she handed over a list of names.

As Jiang Fei had just finished cleaning up the engineering department, everyone in the entire bureaucracy knew that master Ralph had his eyes on the engineering department. Therefore, at this time, even if there was the temptation of a promotion and a raise.., no one was willing to come to the engineering department to look for trouble.

However, Jiang Fei had given an order to the various departments to transfer people to fill the vacancies in the engineering department. Therefore, in the various departments, those who were new to the department, those who did not have any background, and those who were not well-liked became recommended candidates.

“It doesn’t matter. Based on their abilities, let them take up their positions first. The engineering department should not have any projects that require professional knowledge at the moment. Let these people do the administrative work first. After that, you can make some preparations. We will recruit people from the society,”Jiang Fei said.

“Okay, Boss!”Anita nodded and began to carry out Jiang Fei’s instructions.

When Jiang Fei came to work the next day, the engineering department had already started operating again. As for the Life Extension Center, because the person in charge of the project was there to keep an eye on it, after the new batch of funds arrived.., the project had already been restored.

“Boss, the finance department has reported that the government’s funds are running out. They have just transferred another batch of funds into the Life Extension Center’s project. The budget for the other projects will not be able to continue to be allocated,”Anita reported the news of the Life Extension Center’s resumption of work, she also brought bad news to Jiang Fei.

“Okay, I understand. I will handle the money problem.”Jiang Fei nodded.

“Boss, do you have any other orders?”Asked Anita.

“I will go out in the afternoon. If there is anything, look for me at the Magistrate’s residence,”Jiang Fei said to Anita after thinking for a moment.

“Okay! Boss!”Anita nodded.

After settling the documents in his hands, Jiang Fei left for the magistrate’s residence.

“Hehe, you’ve become a regular customer of mine recently!”When the magistrate saw Jiang Fei, he frowned. Although he used to like this Ralph, now that this guy was here, nothing good would come out of it.

“Sir, I’m out of money again,”Jiang Fei said directly.

“Why are you out of money again? Didn’t you just issue a new batch of currency a few days ago?”The magistrate asked. Although printing money was a good idea, he instinctively felt that this was not a long-term solution.

“There’s no other way. The project funds that were previously approved were all embezzled by those people. Now, I have to issue a new batch. So, sir, please think of a way,”Jiang Fei said with a shrug.

“Don’t give me that crap. You must have come prepared. Just say it!”The archon rolled his eyes. He knew Jiang Fei too well. This guy would never come without a reason.

“Sir, you’re wise. Now, I have two solutions!”Jiang Fei said.

“Tell me!”The archon nodded.
