The next morning, Jiang Fei arrived at the city hall as usual.

“Good morning, Boss!”Anita greeted Jiang Fei with a smile.

“Anita, how long until the campus recruitment?”Jiang Fei asked.

“A few more months?”Anita answered.

“Forget it. If I can’t make it in time, I’ll just go directly to the recruitment.”Jiang Fei shook his head.

“Sir, what kind of talent are you looking for?”Anita asked curiously.

“Engineering,”Jiang Fei said.

“Are you looking to fill in for that guy from yesterday?”Anita asked curiously.

“We’ll talk about that later.”Jiang Fei did not answer.

“Sorry, Boss. I spoke too much.”Anita also realized that she had misspoken.

“It’s okay. be more careful in the future.”Jiang Fei nodded and returned to his office.

When it was almost noon, Jiang Fei took care of all the administrative matters. Then, he called Anita to his office.

“Boss, you were looking for me?”Anita quickly appeared in front of Jiang Fei.

“Let’s go and see Colonel Kono.”Jiang Fei stood up and said.

“Sir, do you want to go to the military camp?”Asked Anita.

“Yes! I’ll make an appointment for you now!”Said Anita as she was about to leave.

“No need. We can go there directly,”said Jiang Fei as he waved his hand. Then, he took a document and walked around from behind his desk.

“Okay!”Anita quickly followed behind Jiang Fei. The two of them came out of the city hall.

“Get in the car!”Jiang Fei called out to Anita.

“Okay!”Anita nodded and sat in Jiang Fei’s car.

“Don’t forget to report what happened today to the magistrate. I have to report all the details of my meeting with Kono,”Jiang Fei said to Anita in the car.

“Okay, understood! Boss!”Anita nodded. She was now the spy arranged by the magistrate to be by Jiang Fei’s side. However, in reality, she had been bribed by Jiang Fei.

Jiang Fei drove out of the city center and went straight to the military camp in the suburbs. Two hours later, Jiang Fei’s car stopped in front of a sentry post.

“Stop the vehicles in front. This is a restricted military area!”A sentry walked out and stopped Jiang Fei’s car.

“I’m Ralph. You can tell Colonel Kono that I’m looking for him for an important matter,”Jiang Fei opened the window and said to the Sentry.

“Mr. Ralph, Please Wait a moment!”Although the Sentinel was a member of the military system and was not under Jiang Fei’s jurisdiction, he did not dare to neglect such matters. Moreover, as a lowly soldier.., even if he was not under the jurisdiction of Jiang Fei’s administrative system, there was no need for him to make things difficult for or offend such a big shot.

After a few minutes, the Sentinel returned to Jiang Fei’s car.

“Mr. Ralph, you can go now!”The Sentry said to Jiang Fei.

“Thank you for your hard work!”Jiang Fei smiled at the Sentry and drove into the military restricted area.

Soon, Jiang Fei’s car passed through many sentry posts and arrived at the entrance of the barracks. At this time, Colonel Kono had already brought a few military officers to welcome him at the entrance of the barracks.

“What a rare guest. Mr. Ralph, you are not at the city hall working for the People’s livelihood. How did you find the time to come to my place?”Colonel Kono walked forward and asked with a smile. However, there was a hidden sting in his words, anyone with a discerning eye could tell that he and Jiang Fei were not on good terms. This was also something that he deliberately did for others to see.

“I am not here to chat with you. I am here to seek your help,”Jiang Fei said with a bureaucratic tone.

“Oh? How can I Help You?”Asked Colonel Kono curiously.

“I need you to transfer a team of military police to me,”said Jiang Fei directly.

“Transfer a team of military police? What for?”Colonel Kono was shocked. This time, he was not pretending. He really did not know what Ralph was trying to do.

“I am under the orders of the consul. I want to eliminate the pests in the officers’team. Therefore, I need the cooperation of the Military Police!”Said Jiang Fei.

“Let’s talk inside!”Colonel Kono knew that this matter was not small. If he continued to talk at the door, it might take a long time. Therefore, he quickly let Jiang Fei into the camp.

“Alright!”Jiang Fei nodded. It was indeed not good to talk about such things outside.

“You guys go and do your own things first.”After arriving at the reception room, Kono waved his hand and signaled the officers who came out with him to do what they were supposed to do.

“Wait a minute!”Jiang Fei stopped the officers.

“What is it?”Kono was stunned.

“Colonel, this matter is of great importance. In order to prevent the news from leaking out, please wait a moment!”Jiang Fei said.

“Could it be that Lord Ralph is worried about my people?”Kono’s face darkened.

“Colonel Kono, don’t think too much. We are all working for the Archon. If this matter is messed up, no one will have a good ending!”Jiang Fei directly brought out the Archon, however, he did not mention that he was the one who proposed this task.

“Phew…”Colonel Kono took a deep breath and then said, “Alright, I Wonder Who Sir Ralph is going to capture this time?”

“If you want to know, you can go with me!”Jiang Fei did not say who he was going to capture.

“Alright, how many people do you want?”Kono frowned. Jiang Fei’s attitude made him very unhappy. He did not even bother to say anything respectful.

“Two hundred men would be fine! These officers can lead the way!”Jiang Fei said. His meaning was very clear. None of these people could leave. If this information was leaked, it would definitely be Kono’s doing.

“Is this really the Archon’s Order?”Kono frowned and asked. He had no subordinate relationship with Jiang Fei. Therefore, if it was not the Archon’s order, he could completely reject it.

“Of course. If you do not believe me, you can ask the Archon for confirmation in person!”Jiang Fei said.

“No need. How can I not believe what Sir Ralph Said?”Colonel Kono waved his hand and gave an order in the name of the Archon. This was a serious crime, he believed that Ralph would definitely not make things difficult for him.

“Then, please send some troops, colonel,”Jiang Fei said.

“Now?”Kono was stunned.

“Speed is the most important thing in war!”Jiang Fei said.

“Alright.”Kono nodded. Since it was the Archon’s order, there was no reason for him to stop it. Moreover, he had secretly made an alliance with Jiang Fei. Although the two of them wanted to show discord in front of outsiders.., however, there would definitely not be any real conflict between them because of this.

Soon, Colonel Kono personally ordered 200 military police officers. Then, he asked the military officers who had just accompanied Jiang Fei to return to the city with him. As for who to arrest, they would just have to listen to Jiang Fei when the time came.
