After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

Chapter 1942: Chapter 511: Desert Fox’s Great Secret Treasure

”I have nothing to do, coach.”

Huang Kaiwen said.

”That’s good, go back and rest for a bit.”

Guardiola patted Huang Kaiwen on the shoulder and said.

Guardiola was also quite excited about the upcoming treble.

Huang Kaiwen had just sat down when he noticed Gattuso teasing Kaka.

”I don’t know about others, but I can’t go a day without Kaka.” Gattuso said with a mischievous smile.

The nickname ”Kaka” sounds like the Italian word for feces.

”Old guy, don’t give people nicknames like a school kid.”

Huang Kaiwen nudged Gattuso with his toe and mocked: ”I forgot, you can’t even help with elementary school homework.”

Kaka quietly chuckled along.

Ambrosini laughed even harder and slapped his thigh.

Gattuso’s face flushed red and he retorted stiffly: ”Nonsense, I study whenever there’s a national team match.”

”Right, right.”

Ambrosini nodded and said: ”But if that book doesn’t have illustrations, you can only look at it for three seconds at most!”

After sitting down, Huang Kaiwen advised: ”Gennaro, if you want to coach, do it with the Milan Youth Team, don’t go for the first team.”

Gattuso’s coaching was not exactly stellar.

He always got fired when coaching top league teams.

”Are you looking down on me?”

Gattuso asked a bit unhappily.

”Of course not, why would I?”

Huang Kaiwen patted Gattuso on the shoulder and said: ”I understand you want to stay in football, but coaching isn’t for everyone. I can guarantee you and Filippo won’t make good coaches.”

”That makes me feel a lot better, thanks.”

Gattuso said.

At least he had Inzaghi to back him up.

He was also considering this matter. Football is unlike other professions where one can work until retirement.

Retiring in your 30s, you’re not even middle-aged yet.

But apart from football, he didn’t know what else he could do, after all, he grew up in this environment.

In the 94th minute of the match, as Inzaghi was brought down with the ball, the referee blew the final whistle for the match.

Huang Kaiwen gave Gattuso a pat and said: ”Let’s go, let tomorrow’s you deal with tomorrow’s problems, now we should celebrate properly, the treble!”

”Champions!!!”

”Champions!!!”

”Champions!!!”

The Stadio Olimpico in Rome roared with deafening cheers.

Not just for a Coppa Italia.

But also because Milan clinched the UEFA Champions League at Wembley, defending the last honor of Italian football.

Huang Kaiwen waved at the pitch, signaling his teammates to join him below the stands.

The entire Milan team formed a long line, each person putting an arm around the next, bowing repeatedly to the stands, thanking the fans for their support throughout the season.

On the stands, Totti touched the corners of his eyes.

The corners of his eyes had already shown quite a few wrinkles.

Watching his national team teammates winning one championship after another, it’s false to say there’s no envy.

Sometimes,

people have to pay a price for certain things.

After he turned down Real Madrid and other big clubs, he’s been steadily distancing from the UEFA Champions League trophy.

”A final without suspense, AC Milan’s strength far surpassed Palermo, especially after Huang Kaiwen came on, victory was thoroughly secured.”

”Yes, AC Milan finally secured the last trophy of the season, once again achieving the treble. Ibrahimovic, Torres, Buffon, Van Bommel... all these players who joined AC Milan either earlier or just this winter, also reaped the fruits of victory. Seeing Huang Kaiwen’s performance over the years, I really feel, it’s not Huang Kaiwen who joined a championship team, but the team with Huang Kaiwen that becomes the champion!”

”Yes, let’s congratulate Huang Kaiwen, congratulate AC Milan, for becoming the 2010-2011 Coppa Italia champions!”

After Palermo’s players hurriedly received their medals, it was finally Milan’s turn.

Having experienced winning the UEFA Champions League, the Milan players seemed much more mature.

Once everyone had received their medals, the whole team stood in front of the championship arch.

The DJ on site passionately announced: ”Today, our champions are... AC Milan!”

Huang Kaiwen raised the trophy high, and fireworks burst exuberantly from the arch.

The Netherlands captain Van Bommel cheered along with his teammates.

This past half year felt like a dream.

He had heard many rumors about the Milan Knight’s Table, thinking it’s yet another team like Bayern with a lot of traditions or like the Netherlands team with tense locker room atmospheres.

But what he didn’t expect was that in just half a year, football transformed from work to life.

Teammates went from being mere colleagues to battle companions and family.

The sea breeze of the Apennine Peninsula made him tired of wandering, wanting to settle here.

Looking at the captain holding the trophy high in front, Van Bommel felt that guarding is more meaningful than destroying.

Hearing the gradually rising chorus, Van Bommel hugged Gattuso’s shoulders and joined in singing loudly: ”Milan, Milan, we only wish to guard you, Milan, Milan, forever for you...”

...

Although the game didn’t start in the evening.

But returning to Milan, it was already early morning.

This was the last match in the mainstream league of European football, even for the Coppa Italia, a considerable number of fans were watching.

Reporters from countries were quite excited after the match.

Luckily, Huang Kaiwen smartly avoided participating in the press conference.

”Stop here, no need to go in.”

Huang Kaiwen said.

The bus driver cast a grateful glance at Huang Kaiwen.

In front of his house, there’s a long road that’s not too wide, and there’s some distance to the front gate, trying to turn around after dropping him at the doorstep would be a hassle.
