After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

Chapter 1497: Chapter 424: Teacher, I Want to Play Soccer

Thump thump—

After Huang Kaiwen opened the door, the dressing room fell silent.

The entire Chelsea team didn’t expect to see Huang Kaiwen at this moment.

Mourinho reacted and said, ”Kevin, are you worried about the match?”

”No, coach.”

Huang Kaiwen smiled and said, ”I’m here to play in the match, after all, I’m a Chelsea player.”

”But your leg?”

Mourinho asked worriedly.

He indeed wanted Huang Kaiwen to play, but didn’t want to see him getting injured again in the match.

Huang Kaiwen bent down to pull up his socks and said, ”Got a painkilling injection, it would be a waste not to play.”

To make it look more convincing.

Originally, he wanted to poke it a few times with a syringe.

But Huang Kaiwen thought he usually only stabs others, no need to stab himself for nothing.

So he used blue and red pens to fake a few needle marks.

No one was going to specifically check this stuff.

Mourinho’s face was uncertain, glancing at the dressing room he said, ”You guys rest for a bit and prepare to warm up, Kevin, come with me to the press conference.”

Mourinho pushed the wheelchair towards the press room.

He couldn’t help complaining, ”Kevin, this really isn’t necessary.”

Getting such injections has too many downsides for players.

Not feeling pain on the field is not a good thing, it can easily turn minor injuries into major ones, and major injuries into even worse ones.

”But I’m the highest-paid on the team, during a team crisis, I have to do something, right.”

Huang Kaiwen said with a smile.

Mourinho sighed and pushed Huang Kaiwen into the press room.

The reporters immediately burst out with their greatest enthusiasm.

”Kevin, will you play in the match today?”

”Mr. Mourinho, why is Kevin here?”

”Kevin, did you come to Stamford Bridge because Chelsea lost so badly?”

”When will Kevin’s injury heal?”

”Kevin, is Cheryl planning a divorce because of you?”

Leonid Slutsky looked on in surprise at this scene.

But thinking of the press conference in Russia, he felt relieved as Mourinho was the protagonist there too.

Mourinho carefully pushed Huang Kaiwen to the stage.

He quickly walked onto the stage.

He looked at the cushion prepared by the staff and placed it on Huang Kaiwen’s chair, then helped Huang Kaiwen to sit down.

Mourinho tapped the microphone twice.

The press room fell silent, and then he began to speak, ”Kevin is at Stamford Bridge because he is a Chelsea player.”

”Will he play today?”

A reporter asked.

”Of course he will!”

Mourinho said, ”I can tell you, Kevin has received a painkilling injection.”

Woosh—

The scene instantly became ten times noisier.

A player of Huang Kaiwen’s caliber getting such an injection is no joke.

”Kevin, was this Mourinho’s idea?”

”Mr. Mourinho, why is this happening?”

”Kevin, do you know the downsides of this injection?”

”...”

Huang Kaiwen smiled, clapped his hands, and when the reporters quieted down, he pulled the microphone and said, ”Taking the injection was my own choice. As a Chelsea player, I naturally have to consider the team’s victory. The team lost in the first leg, that’s why I’m doing this. As for the downsides of the injection, actually, I used the painkilling injection when I was at Real Madrid as well, you might remember, the injection isn’t as scary as you make it out to be.”

”But don’t you think, this is irresponsible to your career?”

A reporter pursued further.

”I first have to be responsible to Chelsea, who pay my wages, as for the career...” Huang Kaiwen said with a smile, ”If my career ends here, then it was meant to be.”

”Alright, Kevin still has to get ready for warm-up, that’s it for the press conference.”

Mourinho said.

Huang Kaiwen raised his hand and said, ”I’ll take one last question. I know you guys like gossip, but Cheryl and I are just friends. I don’t want to comment on her and Ashley Cole’s matters, but that band’s lead singer lacks respect for others, I’ve never even heard of him until now, now I know who the clown is. If he’s only thinking about such things, I suggest he go to the Czech Republic or France.”

After Huang Kaiwen finished speaking, Mourinho helped him back into the wheelchair.

Not paying attention to the reporters’ continued questions, he pushed Huang Kaiwen out of the press conference area.

Before they even got back to the dressing room, Huang Kaiwen decided to draw a prize.

[Ding, won the 1991-1992 Bundesliga Season Round 11, Bayern Munich VS Mönchengladbach, Stefan Effenberg 24-hour experience card, received Andre Malanichev (Extraordinary Strength)]

It was him!

The German midfield geniuses all have difficult tempers.

Effenberg was one of them, he even gave his teammate Strunz a green hat.

Pursuing someone else’s wife while both parties had families.

The early Bayern players weren’t very restrained with women either.

Affairs were common, the only praiseworthy thing was that Kahn and Beckenbauer had better taste than those Manchester United veterans.

Effenberg also had big conflicts with Matthäus.

But none of this could overshadow his talent.

The first time Huang Kaiwen felt that some players’ long passes were outrageous was when he saw Effenberg’s passing.

Just right for today to use this template to play midfield, let the teammates charge.

[Ding, successfully used Effenberg experience card, received Extraordinary Strength (Andre Malanichev)]

Trait: Extraordinary Strength (Andre Malanichev) — In 2011, Malanichev was rated by the authoritative ”Powerlifting Watch” as the ”World’s Best Powerlifter”, possessing this trait greatly enhances physical strength.
