After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

Chapter 1458: Chapter 416: The Midfield Schemer’s Plot (5)

Huang Kaiwen silently gave Mourinho a thumbs up.

Such strong aggression!

He started by mocking Deschamps for not having a championship.

Deschamps, already known for his temper, immediately retorted: ”When I was a player, I won the World Cup, the European Cup, the UEFA Champions League, and many league titles. Back then, I didn’t hear of anyone named Mourinho because I never paid attention to the amateur leagues in Portugal.”

”Bastard, that was the second division in Portugal!”

Mourinho briefly lost control but quickly adjusted his mood, saying with a sarcastic smile: ”I heard that as people get older, they like to reminisce about past glory because they can no longer achieve their former successes. When you become a coach, there’s no need to talk about the trophies you won as a player; it only makes people think you’re a failure. And I won seven championships in the past year, so I have the right to refuse to communicate with coaches who lack ability. All right, this press conference is over.”

Mourinho stood up directly, and Sannetti looked at Huang Kaiwen with a bitter smile.

Huang Kaiwen shrugged helplessly and followed Mourinho out.

Mourinho’s pride is very strong, and his playing career is a sore spot in his heart.

Whenever someone dares to mention his playing days, Mourinho usually storms off in anger.

Walking in the corridor, although Mourinho said nothing.

But from his ragged breathing, Huang Kaiwen could feel Mourinho’s anger.

Bam—

Mourinho kicked open the locker room door, leaving the chatting players stunned.

”I’ve repeatedly emphasized the importance of this match, but I feel it’s still not enough!”

Mourinho stated directly.

Terry looked at Huang Kaiwen, wanting to know what had set the coach off this time.

Huang Kaiwen quickly gave Terry a look, signaling him to catch on by himself.

”I’ve changed my mind, today Kevin needs to start.”

After scanning the entire locker room, Mourinho raised a finger and said: ”For today’s match, I have only one requirement, which is to secure a victory in this game, so we need at least four goal difference. If we can’t secure four goals, tomorrow, the next match, the match after that... all of your holidays are canceled, except for Kevin.”

After saying this, Mourinho stormed out of the locker room.

Huang Kaiwen didn’t look too pleased either.

The special treatment from the coaches sometimes comes at the wrong time.

The Chelsea players looked at each other in dismay.

They were just saying that Inter Milan had the ability to win the championship, and now he’s turning around demanding a crushing victory over Inter Milan.

The coach’s brain might have been affected by some issue.

”What’s going on?”

Terry quickly pulled Huang Kaiwen aside for an explanation.

”Nothing major, it’s not our problem. The coach had a very unpleasant exchange with Deschamps at the press conference.”

Huang Kaiwen said vaguely.

No need to delve into the specifics.

”I see.”

Terry breathed a sigh of relief.

Mourinho was quite scary just now.

He turned and said, ”Let’s get ready to warm up. You’ve heard the boss’s demands. Whether we can achieve it or not, we have to try. Everyone knows the boss’s temper, he definitely follows through with what he says. So when we’re on the field, we strive to do our best, got it?”

”Yes.”

The Chelsea players responded weakly.

They were still reeling from Mourinho’s earlier fury.

Huang Kaiwen clapped his hands to draw attention, saying: ”Actually, the coach’s demand isn’t that big a deal. We scored so many goals against Arsenal and Manchester United; what’s Inter Milan? At most, it’s because they’re in a different league, so we’re not that familiar with each other. I believe you’ve already seen a lot of info on Inter Milan before the match, like player characteristics, common tactics. Sometimes they play a three-defender formation, which is also a bit unknown to us.”

”Yeah, no one’s used three defenders in a long time.”

Carvalho nodded in agreement.

Huang Kaiwen simply pulled over the tactics board, quickly jotting down 11 names, finally circling Maicon’s name, tossing the pen aside, he said: ”Lucio and Maicon’s right-side attacking ability is very strong, Lucio will also push forward, Maicon is even called the world’s best right back, excelling in both fullback and wingback roles. But...”

After a slight pause, Huang Kaiwen continued: ”No matter how outstanding any player is, they’re just a person, including me. Compared to the well-balanced Sannetti and Samuel’s left side, today, whether they play three defenders or four, we’re going to target the right side. Gareth, start aggressively penetrating the right, the right-winger can also come over to break through on the left, we continuously attack that side, and we’re bound to reap rewards.”

”Yeah, just target their right side!”

Terry nodded emphatically.

Ramos, already quite displeased, jumped up and shouted: ”Blow up their right side!”

What world’s best right back, my ass.

He won three UEFA Champions Leagues and wasn’t this arrogant.

”Come on, we haven’t played this in a long while.”

Terry extended his right hand.

One by one, the Chelsea players put their hands on top.

Modric found it novel, it was his first time experiencing something like this.

He didn’t expect Chelsea, usually winning effortlessly, to have moments of seriousness.

Terry shouted loudly: ”1, 2, 3, Chelsea...”

”...Go, go, go!!!”

...

”Both teams are already warming up on the field; facing an opponent like Inter Milan, the Chelsea players are already wearing a serious expression during their warm-up.”

”This season, Inter Milan has performed well on multiple fronts, being more stable than AC Milan which boasts attack but an aging defense, applying significant pressure on AC Milan.”

”Yes, Deschamps’ team has indeed been this season’s biggest surprise in Serie A.”

”Sneijder and Robben, both discards from Real Madrid, have become key members at their new clubs, alongside Arsenal’s van Persie and Chelsea’s Huntelaar; this batch of Dutch players is gradually making their mark in the big clubs, possibly ending the embarrassment of being perpetual runners-up.”

”Now the camera focuses on Inter Milan chairman Moratti, who’s holding a bubble tea cup—haha, allegedly, he’s a big customer of Kevin’s tea, often treating Inter Milan fans to bubble tea and reportedly recharging hundreds of thousands of Euros in one go.”
