After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

Chapter 1100: Chapter 350: Who Really Hired the Wizard?

At this time of the afternoon, choosing the field is much more important than kicking off.

Unfortunately, this time Terry won the coin toss.

Tevez gets the ball and immediately passes it back.

Scholes takes the ball in midfield and organizes.

”Today, Chelsea’s owner Abramovich is standing on the sidelines, it looks like he’s acting as the substitute coach.”

”His position isn’t confirmed, but it’s unusual for Abramovich to be on the sidelines, haha.”

Although the match had already started, the director still frequently showed the sidelines on camera.

In the opening stage, Manchester United made a lot of personnel rotations, appearing very cautious.

Huntelaar goes up to press, Scholes makes a precise long pass to the left wing.

Welbeck, on the wing, isn’t that skillful, but with Scholes’ precise pass, he didn’t have to exert much effort to stop the ball at his feet.

Mata hurried to defend.

Welbeck pushes the ball out seven or eight meters, speeds up, and squeezes past Mata.

He’s famous for his speed, and generally, the physical quality of black players is quite good.

Welbeck sprints all the way, wanting to get the ball again, but Ballack has already calculated his position, rushes to take the ball, and turns directly.

Welbeck, who was a step slower, collided with Ballack’s back and fell to the ground.

Pa—

Ballack passes back.

Ramos receives the ball, flicks it with his right foot, looks towards the front court, and starts moving his feet.

Ramos’ obvious pass was intercepted by Gibson, before Gibson could stabilize the ball, Deco charged in with a kick.

Pa—

The ball rolled through three Manchester United defenders, finding Huang Kaiwen near the top of the arc.

Huang Kaiwen received the ball sideways and started directly.

The whole process lacked any extravagance, the ball controlled at his feet, he dribbled quickly with small diagonal steps toward the middle.

O’Shea was already behind Huang Kaiwen, while Ferdinand could wait no more.

Ferdinand chose to charge, knowing he was alone in defense.

Running towards the middle, he extended his leg, but Huang Kaiwen, who was slightly diagonal dribbling, lightly clicked with his right foot to dodge Ferdinand’s leg, speeding into the penalty area with a quick direction change from the top corner.

O’Shea, who was following back, caught up beside Huang Kaiwen.

Huang Kaiwen supported with his right foot, twisted, and knocked with his left foot.

Pa—

The ball quickly rolled towards the center of the penalty area.

As Huntelaar prepared to stop it, Evans charged in, swept the ball away while sliding, knocking it beyond Huntelaar’s control towards the goal.

Ben Foster hurriedly pounced on it, pressing it beneath him.

Sitting in the stands, Ferguson continued to chew gum quickly.

The lineup today had enough tactical intention, planning to sacrifice this match for the league.

But seeing Huang Kaiwen’s unstoppable dribbling in Manchester United’s half still sent a shiver through him.

It’s this number ten.

Forced him into making such a decision.

Otherwise, if reaching the finals, he would certainly have fielded the main team.

But given the current situation, he knew winning was difficult in a direct confrontation, so he had to use substitutes to exhaust Chelsea, hoping to disrupt their league form.

Manchester United could then seize the chance to narrow the score gap and eventually stage a comeback victory.

But even if winning wasn’t the goal, he couldn’t let them casually break into the penalty area.

With some discomfort, Ferguson walked to the sidelines and shouted to the field: ”Stick to him, Park, don’t do anything else, just focus on Kevin.”

Park Ji-sung’s English wasn’t good.

This was even with a Scottish accent.

Ferguson had to shout twice for Park Ji-sung to barely understand, nodding towards the sidelines.

Manchester United started the ball from the backfield, Park Ji-sung shadowing Huang Kaiwen closely.

Huang Kaiwen was in no hurry.

Park Ji-sung has decent stamina, but lacks speed and explosiveness.

Whenever there’s a chance, he can outpace him.

Now without an opportunity, he leisurely accompanied Park Ji-sung, strolling on the field.

Darron Gibson turned after receiving the ball, passing directly to the right, Huang Kaiwen suddenly started, intercepting the ball in front of Park Ji-sung.

Turning, he dashed forward quickly, leaving Park Ji-sung trailing.

Ashley Cole, stepping up to assist, stood by the sidelines waiting for support.

But Huang Kaiwen had no intention of passing, he feinted a charge into the penalty area, O’Shea adjusted his position, Huang Kaiwen swiped with his right foot, dribbling quickly along the bottom line.

Such a smooth direction change is hard to intercept.

O’Shea, having experienced something similar in training matches, didn’t completely lose his balance, chasing along the baseline with Huang Kaiwen.

Just as Huang Kaiwen swung his left foot to cross, he finally reached the baseline and blocked it with his leg.

”Corner kick, the first corner kick of the first half.”

”Yes, Chelsea put significant pressure on Manchester United in the opening stage, launching an offensive on United’s goal. Manchester United must be extremely cautious on this corner kick.”

Ben Foster had no mind to command his teammates’ positions.

He kept adjusting his position.

He and Tim Howard, the goalkeeper Manchester United previously sold to Everton, were both Americans.

Coincidentally, he too had slippery hands.

Starting in the League Cup match against Chelsea, with Chelsea’s number ten still on the field.

The mental pressure on him was immense.

Despite little running, his forehead was already beaded with sweat.

Huang Kaiwen stood at the corner flag, signaling something itself.

Once the penalty area quieted down, Foster remembered to check his teammates’ positions.

Pa—

After the run-up, Huang Kaiwen cut under the ball with his right foot, this kick was very close to the baseline, almost without any curvature but very fast.

Neither Alex nor Evans reacted as the ball flew between them and the goalpost towards the goal.
