After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

”I haven’t seen Frank for a while, but I’m going to call him. He’s gone crazy, using nationality to refer to Kevin. It’s arrogant and disrespectful, and I suspect he’s under too much pressure and something’s wrong. Don’t worry, he’ll pay a terrible price sooner or later.”

In the TV, Van Basten, the coach of the Netherlands national team, spoke to the camera.

Robben turned off the TV.

He opened his own computer.

He typed into the search engine: How to accidentally injure another team’s coach.

Not getting a satisfactory response, Robben typed again: Will a player get a red card for a flying tackle on the opposing coach?

After reading a few responses, he felt it was meaningless.

Robben typed again: Will a player be suspended for attacking the opposing coach in the parking lot?

He still did not get any answers.

Mainly because there were too few cases of this kind.

After thinking for a while, Robben searched for one last question.

The one that had been bothering him for a long time, he typed: Does hitting an arm with an iron rod cause a brain hemorrhage?

”Damn it, the internet is useless.”

Robben cursed, throwing the mouse aside.

He couldn’t find the answers he was thinking of.

Lately, Gerard, that senior Dutch figure, had been very active, and Robben felt his opportunity had come.

But creating an incident between a player and a coach wasn’t easy; not finding an opportunity to deal with Gerard made Robben scratch his head.

Returning from America.

Huang Kaiwen flew directly to Paris to attend the Ballon d’Or ceremony.

”Sorry, Kevin.”

Kaka said apologetically as he picked him up.

”It’s not your fault that I got injured.”

Huang Kaiwen, sitting in the wheelchair, said with a smile.

Not getting the Ballon d’Or this year was something Huang Kaiwen had expected.

Getting the Ballon d’Or without playing much in the new season could only happen if ”L’Équipe” helped steal votes.

Kaka scored many goals in the UEFA Champions League, making it to the top four, plus winning the Copa America, and has been in form last season and this new season as well, so it was normal for him to get the Ballon d’Or.

Huang Kaiwen guessed that Mr. World Football Kaka probably couldn’t beat him.

The fame added to the voting is greater there, and many people vote based on impressions.

At the venue, the two separated.

Kaka went to the makeup room for the final preparations.

Huang Kaiwen maneuvered his electric wheelchair around to greet football legends.

”Kevin, do you want to come to Manchester United?”

Sir Ferguson asked with a smile, bending down to embrace Huang Kaiwen.

”Can Manchester United offer a cripple 35 million euros?”

Huang Kaiwen asked with a twinkle in his eye.

”How about 15 million? The American is quite interested in you.”

Sir Ferguson countered.

The American he spoke of was Glazer.

”Forget about it.”

Huang Kaiwen said with a laugh.

To take a pay cut and then help a vampire family make money, Yellow Ball King isn’t Glazer’s daddy.

”Hey, Kevin!”

After Sir Ferguson left, Messi immediately came over to greet him.

”Long time no see, Leo.”

Huang Kaiwen asked, ”I heard you got injured as well, how’s it going?”

”Not so good, I should be able to recover around February.”

Messi said with a strained smile.

”Don’t worry, it definitely won’t affect you,” Huang Kaiwen said with a smile.

The reign of Messi is not so easily toppled.

”Kevin...”

Messi seemed hesitant to speak.

”Hmm, what’s up?” Huang Kaiwen asked.

”No, it’s nothing, I still have things to do.” Messi said and quickly left.

Since Kevin hasn’t recovered from his injuries yet, there’s no need to warn him anyway.

The unusual things happening at the training ground these last few days, Messi felt that Gerard was preparing to take on Real Madrid.

He didn’t want to speculate on his coach’s motives from a sinister perspective, but the changes at the training ground were indeed abnormal.

At 7 p.m., the award ceremony began.

Huang Kaiwen sat next to Totti.

Totti whispered with his hand covering his mouth, ”Thanks, Kevin.”

”For what?” Huang Kaiwen asked.

”It’s about the match in South Korea, thank you,” Totti said earnestly.

Huang Kaiwen smiled and patted Totti’s shoulder, saying, ”Don’t mention it.”

”If you ever need something, just give me a call.”

Totti offered a business card.

Huang Kaiwen glanced at it, noticing it had quite a few titles.

He, MR. Huang, didn’t have such a fancy thing as a business card.

Huang Kaiwen could only say, ”I’ll send you a text later, just save that.”

”Sure, let’s watch first,” Totti nodded.

About an hour later, the climax of the award ceremony arrived.

The screen showed clips of Kaka, C Ronaldo, and Messi.

Because he had missed most of the new season, Yellow Ball King was only in the fourth place.

The time for the Ballon d’Or announcement came.

The guest read from the card taken out of the envelope, ”The 2007 Ballon d’Or recipient is Kaka!”

Kaka stood up, bent down to embrace Huang Kaiwen, then walked to the stage.

”...Thanks to Kevin, my girlfriend Beatrice, my family, and my teammates. This night is truly special for me because when I was younger, I dreamed of being a professional player for Sao Paulo, to play a match for the national team. As the Bible says, ask for one, and God will give you ten. That’s everything that happened in my life, thank you.”

Huang Kaiwen applauded with everyone else in the hall.

The boy had grown up; Kaka had finally won the Ballon d’Or, and Yellow Ball King was very pleased.

Kaka posed for pictures with the second and third place finishers, and Huang Kaiwen just sat there watching.

Soon they would all go their separate ways.

The Royal Spanish Football Federation and the Italian Football Federation had scheduled significant matches before Christmas, and both he and Kaka had to return to their teams to prepare for the last match before the winter break.

After taking the chance to speak a few words with Kaka, Huang Kaiwen had Neo push him away.
