After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

Huang Kaiwen didn’t know if he would be able to make it for the Club World Cup or the national derby.

But since Cruyff put it that way, Huang Kaiwen was definitely going to try his best. He aimed to make a surprise comeback in time and give Barcelona a little shock.

Having stayed at home for a few days, Huang Kaiwen found it rather dull.

He had gotten tired of playing video games.

Kaka and the others were all training, and playing alone wasn’t fun at all.

”Neo, let’s go see Lily,”

Huang Kaiwen said.

Ever since school started, he hadn’t seen that girl Lily.

”Sure, sir,”

Neo replied.

”Let’s not drive, it’d be good to get some fresh air.”

Huang Kaiwen said.

”Of course, sir,”

Neo nodded and agreed. Huang Kaiwen called the shots, and he simply acted accordingly.

He pushed Huang Kaiwen out the door, instructing the other bodyguards to follow in their car.

In case Huang Kaiwen wanted to ride later, they wouldn’t need to wait for a car to come over.

”Sir, it seems like we’re in the wrong place,”

Neo cautioned.

Under Huang Kaiwen’s direction, they ended up walking further off course.

”No problem, there shouldn’t be any issues,”

Huang Kaiwen said with a laugh.

Huang Kaiwen had visited the Milan Academy of Fine Arts before when Valentino had held a new product showcase there.

His sense of direction was pretty good, so he shouldn’t have gotten lost.

Neo, wanting to say something, hesitated but continued to push Huang Kaiwen along.

After almost an hour, Huang Kaiwen felt bored and asked Neo to bring the car over.

”Should we keep going, sir?”

Neo, now behind the wheel, inquired.

”Let’s go. The earth is round, even if we get lost, we’ll find our way back eventually,”

Huang Kaiwen responded with a laugh.

Neo could only nod and keep driving, turning off the navigation’s voice.

About 20 minutes later, Neo parked in front of the Inter Milan team logo and looked at Huang Kaiwen.

This was Inter Milan’s Pinetina training ground.

Huang Kaiwen realized he had directed them the wrong way and said, chuckling, ”It’s also nice to come and strengthen our friendship with them. I have a good relationship with the Inter Milan players, haha.”

”Yes, sir,”

Neo agreed, without any objection.

After all, wherever they went, it was up to Huang Kaiwen, and there was no need to be disagreeable.

”You brought all those bubble tea cards, right?”

Huang Kaiwen asked.

Those were the gifts intended for his classmate Lily, but now they were perfect to give to the Inter Milan players, as a way to bond with them.

”Yes, sir, we should have enough for the Inter Milan first team players and staff,” Neo confirmed.

”That’s great, let’s go in,”

Neo started the car.

The gatekeeper at Pinetina spotted Huang Kaiwen in the passenger seat and muttered, ”So it’s Kevin...”

The next second, it dawned on him.

He leapt from his seat, rummaged through his pockets, and just as he pulled out his phone, it slipped from his grasp, hitting the ground.

The back cover flew off, but the Nokia was still intact, known for its durability.

The gatekeeper picked up the phone, dialed eagerly, and exclaimed, ”Kevin is at Pinetina. The chairman may be looking to buy Kevin, my God, is this for real? We’re going to have Kevin, Inter Milan is going to have Kevin!!!”

...

The two of them parked the car and headed to Inter Milan’s training field.

The Inter Milan players were just taking a break on the sidelines.

”Guys, a big shot has arrived!”

Sannetti approached Huang Kaiwen and asked, ”Why have you come to Pinetina?”

”I remembered it’s been a long time since I’ve seen you guys, so I thought I’d come and see how your preparations are going, the UEFA Champions League is next month, right?”

Huang Kaiwen made up an answer on the spot.

”We are well-prepared already,”

Materazzi came up to Huang Kaiwen with a smile and said, ”The whole team wants to win a UEFA Champions League title, not just reach the quarter-finals or semi-finals. Watch out for us and Real Madrid, Kevin!”

”I’ll be careful,”

Huang Kaiwen said with a smile.

Cambiasso, Maicon, and others also came over.

Maicon said with a laugh, ”Pele once told me after watching an Inter match that if I played on the left side, we could form the best left flank corridor in the world.”

”I can also play on the right wing.”

Huang Kaiwen said.

His popularity as the Yellow Ball King was so great that even among Inter Milan players, he was well-received.

Van Nistelrooy, with a bandage still wrapped around his head, clenched his fists as he watched Huang Kaiwen catching up with the Inter Milan players from afar.

Could it be that there was really no place for him, Ruud van Nistelrooy, in this wide world?

He had already transferred to Inter Milan, yet that guy was still haunting him like a persistent ghost!

”All right, gentlemen, the chairman has arrived, and you should be off to training now,”

Mancini clapped his hands and said, nodding at Huang Kaiwen as a way of greeting.

”Neo, distribute the milk tea cards to everyone. I’ll have a chat with Mr. Moratti.”

Huang Kaiwen said.

”Certainly, sir.”

Moratti walked over to the wheelchair with a smile, bent down, and embraced Huang Kaiwen, ”I didn’t expect you to come here, coincidentally, I am at Pinetina today.”

”That’s quite a coincidence indeed.”

Huang Kaiwen said with a smile.

”Yes, a coincidence. So, are you going to play for Inter Milan?”

Moratti asked, pushing the wheelchair.

”My release clause with Real Madrid is 250 million euros,”

Huang Kaiwen said.

Moratti: ...

Even if he was willing to spend for Inter Milan, there was no way to spend 250 million on a single player.

Besides, that was just the release clause. Add in the signing fee, Barbara’s agent commission, and Huang Kaiwen’s salary; the first year would require spending over 300 million euros.

million euros could buy most of the Serie A clubs, and even Moratti was reluctant to spend so much money at once.

”Ahem, so what are you planning to do today?”

Moratti changed the subject.

”Nothing much, just planning to visit some old friends and discuss some business cooperation,”

Huang Kaiwen said.

”Barbara arranged things quite well before; she’s an excellent club president, and Inter Milan has also benefited a lot from previous business developments,”

Moratti said, ”Let’s find a place where we can eat and talk.”

”Good, you choose the place,”

Huang Kaiwen said, nodding.

Having given away so many milk tea cards to the Inter Milan players today, he really had to earn it back from Moratti.

Without spending 500,000 euros for a meal, Moratti shouldn’t think of going home.

The meal ended with both host and guest thoroughly enjoying themselves.

Huang Kaiwen returned home satisfied.

He didn’t make it to the Milan Academy of Fine Arts, but the visit to Inter Milan’s training base had been quite fruitful.

”Why are you back?”

Huang Kaiwen asked Lily.

”Tomorrow is the weekend, so I came back,”

Lily said, sitting next to Huang Kaiwen and throwing herself into his arms, ”I heard from Mr. Albert that you were planning to visit me at school during the day, how come I didn’t see you?”

”I remembered I had some things to do, so I didn’t go,”

Huang Kaiwen said with a forced laugh.

He had now figured out what was going on.

It was a side effect of ”Angel’s Orchid”; otherwise, with his sense of direction, he couldn’t possibly have gotten lost.

”Really? Were you going out on a date with another woman?”

Lily asked suspiciously, sniffing around Huang Kaiwen.

”It seems I need to prove myself,”

Huang Kaiwen said, pulling Lily onto his lap.

Lily jumped off like a startled little rabbit, her face flushed, ”How can you be like this? Can’t you think about other things?”

”That’s beyond my control,”

Huang Kaiwen said with a smile.

Lily ran quickly upstairs.

Huang Kaiwen was helpless with her.

When the young lady came back at night, she helped Huang Kaiwen upstairs.

The disobedient art student was punished again.

The next day.

While Huang Kaiwen was still sleeping, photos of him having dinner with Moratti made the front page.

”Milan Sports Newspaper”: ”Moratti has never concealed his ambition for Kevin, but his hundred million euros is only enough to buy Messi. Taking Kevin from Bernabeu is not easy. Calderon had already said during the European Club Presidents’ Meeting that Real Madrid would not discuss Kevin’s transfer with any team. If anyone wants to take Kevin from Bernabeu, they will have to activate his release clause. It remains to be seen whether Moratti has the audacity.”

”Corriere dello Sport”: ”The newspaper just announced the top ten of the Ballon d’Or this year. These ten players are Kevin, Kaka, C Ronaldo, Messi, Drogba, Pirlo, Ibrahimovic, Fabregas, Totti, Raul. It’s unclear whether Kevin will retain the Ballon d’Or or if someone else will break Kevin’s monopolization. Being sidelined for a long time due to injuries might cause some issues for Kevin in the Ballon d’Or vote.”

”Turin Sport Report”: ”According to insiders, the atmosphere in Inter Milan’s dressing room is not good. Kevin’s sudden appearance at Inter’s training base has made some players unhappy. The player who wished to remain anonymous stated that Kevin is definitely not as agreeable as he appears to be, and that Kevin is a very petty person. Offending Kevin would mean no good end.”
