After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

This is the best feature they’ve come up with since hijacking Ronaldo.

”Kevin, do you want to play a game?”

Kaka took out his handheld console and asked.

”Ah, sure.”

Huang Kaiwen also took out his handheld console to connect with Kaka for some multiplayer action.

The flight back to Milan City takes just over two hours, a perfect time to play some games.

The next day, May 4th.

It seemed like a normal morning.

But due to the latest developments in the ’Calciopoli’ scandal.

Everyone in Serie A was on edge.

The deputy director of the Italian Football Association’s investigative office, Borelli explicitly stated that Juventus and AC Milan were the main culprits in this Italian football disgrace, with Lazio and Florence bearing less responsibility.

Two days later.

On May 6th, the Italian Football Federation announced the punishments for the four clubs.

Juventus were demoted to the bottom of the league for this season. They will start in Serie B next season with a 9-point deduction and a fine of 80,000 Euros. Former club general manager Moggi and ex-chairman Giraud are banned from football-related matters for five years, with fines of 50,000 and 20,000 Euros respectively.

AC Milan will keep their Serie A status next season, with a deduction of 10 points for next season and 25 points from this season. Gagliani and club official Meiani are banned from football-related activities for 3 years.

Florence will be relegated to Serie B next season, starting with a 12-point deduction.

Lazio are also relegated to Serie B with a starting deduction of 7 points.

Apart from the clubs, several referees were suspended, including De Santis who officiated the Milan Derby and received a 4-year ban, along with some linesmen and former officials of the Italian Football Association, all banned from football matters for a specific period.

This punishment was particularly delicate.

Juventus had no hope for this season.

But AC Milan currently have 90 points, and even after the 25-point deduction, they have 65 points, just behind Milan and Juventus. Inter Milan also have exactly 65 points, with Rome behind at 63.

The next two Serie A matches will determine whether Milan or Inter Milan will take the championship.

Rome only has a sliver of a chance.

Milan’s final match is against Rome, and even if they win against Milan, they still need Inter Milan to stumble for Rome to have any possibility of winning the championship.

Huang Kaiwen knew.

The actions of the young lady had had their effect.

Because he clearly remembered that during the first judgment of the ’Calciopoli’ scandal, Milan were instantly deducted 40 points.

During the appeal.

Most teams’ point deductions would be adjusted.

Milan, however, were expected to have their deduction reduced.

With a smaller deduction, the outcomes of AC Milan’s last two games might not even matter.

So in the current situation, the championship was ostensibly Milan’s to lose.

The new officials of the Football Association opted for such a punishment to maintain the suspense in Serie A.

To avoid losing that suspense,

Huang Kaiwen speculated.

The results of the appeal would certainly be announced after the end of Serie A.

On May 7th,

Milan scraped a 3:2 away win against Parma, with Kaka, Cafu, and Seedorf scoring.

Inter Milan won their game as well, extending the championship suspense to the final round.

Huang Kaiwen knew it would be like this.

The damn Serie A inquiry team was holding back the appeal results to create suspense.

After the game ended, Huang Kaiwen turned off the television, and left the house with Christian and Daniel, the two children from the Ma Family.

Adriana had been invited out by Barbara for a beauty treatment.

Huang Kaiwen offered to take care of the kids for the team captain’s wife.

”Uncle Kevin, how about we go eat some ice cream?”

The elder son, Christian, suggested.

”No, Uncle Kevin said players can’t eat ice cream!”

The younger son, Daniel, stood in front of them and objected.

Huang Kaiwen’s mouth twitched.

This was all Barbara’s doing.

Babbling on TV about how disciplined he supposedly was, who knows how many naive children she fooled.

Huang Kaiwen sighed, crouched down in front of Daniel, and said, ”Sometimes, we need to relax a little, we can’t always be so serious in life.”

”Then you guys eat, I won’t.”

The younger son crossed his arms and stubbornly said.

”Alright, then you just watch.”

Huang Kaiwen said resignedly.

He was somewhat impressed by the young boy’s stubbornness.

Huang Kaiwen took the two children from the Ma Family to the ice cream shop.

Italian ice cream is called ”gelato”.

There are many shops, and Italians love to eat it.

All are handmade with seasonal fruits, natural nuts, milk, eggs, and so on, and apart from the natural water content of the ingredients, no additional water is added during the making process.

The most interesting thing is that there’s no standard for it.

How it’s made completely depends on the mood of the shop owner.

There’s a saying in Italy: There are no two gelatos in the world that are exactly alike.

Huang Kaiwen also quite liked this treat.

”Can I add a few extra scoops?”

The elder son looked at Huang Kaiwen and asked.

”You can have as much as you want!”

Huang Kaiwen responded.

”Uncle Kevin, you’re the best!”

The elder son exclaimed excitedly.

Huang Kaiwen looked at the joyful elder son and felt somewhat guilty.

The last time, the poor kid ended up getting a harsh reprimand from Paolo Maldini, and Huang Kaiwen felt a bit sorry about that.

It wasn’t just because the kid would turn into a tough character in the future that he felt compelled to make amends.

”Sir, I want a large one!”

The elder son made a gesture in front of him as if he were swimming.

”How large do you want it, our future star?”

The shop owner asked with a friendly smile.

He recognized the trio.

Some die-hard fans also watch the Milan Youth Team games.

The owner had just seen Christian scoring not long ago and was waiting to see him inherit the number 3 jersey.

”Very large, I want a very large one!”

The elder son said excitedly.

”Alright, you’ll get the largest one we have in the shop!” The owner turned to Huang Kaiwen and asked, ”What about you, Kevin?”
