Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 1239: Chapter 1238: Take Him Down

This gathering lasted until two to three in the morning.

Three of the female stars who were brought there had died.

Some of the others were also injured, with cuts on their faces or internal injuries from being beaten.

After everyone returned, except for Tang Mu and Su Mei, none of the Dragon Country celebrities who had been taken there came back unscathed.

After getting to the villa, Lin Dong, his face iron blue, asked Grey Snake and Red Rat,

”How much longer until The Black Sorcerer Sacramental Ceremony?”

Red Rat quickly replied, ”Two more days!”

Lin Dong nodded. Just two more days. He really couldn’t wait for that day to arrive so he could embark on a killing spree.

”You all can leave. These next two days, do your utmost to protect those Dragon Country sacrifices. Don’t let them get hurt anymore,” Lin Dong told Red Rat and Grey Snake.

The two nodded and then retreated.

After they left, Lin Dong took Tang Mu and Su Mei into a room and did not send them back to the dungeon.

To the outside world, they were already Lin Dong’s women. Furthermore, Lord Bai Long had promised him that he would request the Master of Black Sorcerer Palace to spare them.

So, there was no need to lock them up in the dungeon anymore; they could stay by Lin Dong’s side.

They could also live together with Lin Dong, directly in the upper villa.

That night, Lin Dong, Tang Mu, and Su Mei shared a room, and Su Mei seemed a bit nervous.

Although she had been in the entertainment circles for many years, her personality was similar to Tang Mu’s, and she hadn’t dated anyone over the years.

She didn’t have any powerful financial backers, so like Tang Mu, she was still untouched.

Lin Dong looked handsome, and he had just saved her life, but if she and Tang Mu were to serve him together, she couldn’t accept it.

So, as soon as she entered the room, she became very tense.

She couldn’t help but look at Tang Mu and noticed that Tang Mu seemed very relaxed; she wondered if Tang Mu had really had some kind of relationship with this man.

Didn’t she mind?

”I smell so bad, I want to take a bath,” Tang Mu, who hadn’t bathed in many days, couldn’t help but tell Lin Dong.

Lin Dong nodded, ”Go ahead, I’ll find some new clothes for you.”

While speaking, he casually asked Su Mei, ”Su Mei, how about you? Do you want to take a bath?”

”I... I...” Su Mei stammered, then loudly said, ”Tang Mu, I... I won’t serve this man with you.”

”I’d rather die!”

Hearing this, Tang Mu couldn’t help but suppress a smile. She figured out why Su Mei had been frowning nervously ever since they entered the room.

So, she was worried about this.

”Tang Mu, I used to think you were a pure and innocent girl, unafraid to die for your chastity. It turns out, you’re just a coward as well,” she said.

”Ready to sacrifice your body to live... But I won’t do that. Let alone, do it with you.”

Hearing this, Tang Mu looked at Lin Dong and asked, ”Can I explain the truth to her?”

Lin Dong nodded, thinking that Su Mei seemed to be a person of good character and trustworthy. Telling her the truth about the matter, she surely wouldn’t speak of it.

”You explain it to her well, I’ll go get you some new clothes,” Lin Dong said, and then left the room.

He left the room to Tang Mu and Su Mei alone.

Once Lin Dong had left, Tang Mu began to explain to Su Mei,

”Su Mei, you’ve misunderstood. Actually, he is someone I know. Do you remember what I told you before? I never sought a boyfriend because I’ve had someone in my heart for a long time.”

Su Mei nodded, ”Yes, I remember you telling me that you’ve always had a man in your heart. That man, your high school desk mate. Seems his name is Lin Dong, right?”

Tang Mu nodded and said, ”Yes! He is indeed Lin Dong, the man in my heart.”

”Ah? He is the man you like? But Tang Mu, what happened for him to be a robber on this island? You fell in love with a robber?” Su Mei covered her mouth, blurting it out.

Tang Mu smiled slightly and explained again, ”He is not a robber, he is actually a very famous traditional Chinese physician from our Dragon Country.”

”Dragon Country’s leader of the Southern Faction of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Lin Dong, have you heard of him?”

”Of course, I have heard of him. So, the person you like is the leader of the Southern Faction of Traditional Chinese Medicine? But that’s not right, I’ve seen photos of Lin Dong, leader of our Dragon Country’s Southern Faction of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and he doesn’t look like that. Tang Mu, don’t lie to me.” Su Mei shook her head.

Tang Mu lowered her voice and explained again, ”That’s because Lin Dong has disguised himself, so he looks different from before.”

”He did this to stay undercover on this island. He is actually an undercover agent here, hiding and waiting for the gang’s leader and other key members to appear. Then he will send out the news, hoping to catch the whole lot in an action....”

After hearing Tang Mu’s explanation, Su Mei’s mouth opened wide in an ’o’ shape, clearly surprised.

”So that’s how it is.” At the moment, she finally understood why Tang Mu was willing to be that man’s woman.

Originally, he was undercover!

And, he was indeed the man Tang Mu liked!

At the same time, she also understood why he had always stood on the side of the people of the Dragon Country.

”Sorry, Tang Mu, I misunderstood you before. What I said just now, Tang Mu, please don’t mind.”

Su Mei thought about how she had called Tang Mu a coward earlier, willing to sacrifice her body to survive. Now that she knew the truth, she felt embarrassed about what she had said.

Tang Mu did not mind; she said, ”Su Mei, you didn’t know the truth before, so I’m not mad about what you said just now.”

”But now you, don’t have to worry about serving Lin Dong with me, right?”

Su Mei’s face turned red, having understood the truth, she naturally relaxed.

She was no longer as nervous as before and even started joking with her best friend:

”Giggle, Tang Mu, since that man is the leader of the Southern Faction of Traditional Chinese Medicine and a good person, serving him together with you isn’t really a problem, oh....”

Tang Mu knew she was joking, reached out her hand to tickle her, and while tickling, said, ”Dream on, that’s my man.”

”Haha....” Su Mei laughed, ”Tang Mu, you haven’t become his official woman yet, have you?”

Tang Mu’s face turned red, and she nodded slightly.

”Then you should seize this opportunity, this is it. Don’t leave regrets like you did in high school.” Su Mei clenched her fist encouragingly.

She naturally knew how much Tang Mu liked her high school desk mate, that childhood friend.

Earlier, when they slept together, she could hear Tang Mu calling out ’Lin Dong’ in her dreams, a thousand times over one night.

That showed how much she missed and cared about that person.

And now, knowing that the man who saved her and Tang Mu was her dream lover, as a best friend, she naturally hoped that her best friend Tang Mu could win him over completely.

To truly confirm their relationship, so she no longer had to endure the pain of unrequited love as before.

As Tang Mu listened to Su Mei’s words, her face turned even redder, she gave Su Mei a glance and said:

”At this time, who’s got the mind to think about confirming relationships.”

”Escaping and catching these robbers all at once, that’s the most important thing to do.”

”That’s true,” Su Mei nodded, refocusing on their situation.

Their situation now could be described as extremely dangerous.

These robbers are so ferocious, can Lin Dong, with his undercover identity, really succeed?

Su Mei was also skeptical.
