Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 1210: Chapter 1209: Blind Girl

Soon, someone from the Li Family came over and said to Medical Saint Jin Yuan:

”Medical Saint Jin Yuan, please come with us to the Medical Association to discuss your appointment as the president.”

Medical Saint Jin Yuan nodded and followed them.

Once only Lin Dong and Li Qiuci were left, Li Qiuci suddenly said:

”Master Lin, are your medical skills really superb? Could you help a friend of mine with her sickness?”

Lin Dong nodded, ”Yes, where is your friend?”

Seeing how easily Lin Dong agreed, Li Qiuci instantly felt joy.

She found that Master Lin was indeed easy to talk to.

”I have arranged to meet her at my home today. She should be arriving soon. She is one of my best friends. She used to be very beautiful, but because she’s lost her sight, she can’t see this beautiful world.”

”If you could cure her, that would be truly wonderful.”

It was clear that this friend she was talking about was a true friend to her.

Not like those superficial sisters among tycoons.

Lin Dong nodded and waited for the friend she had mentioned.

At that time, Li Qiuci laughingly said, ”Master Lin, right, you haven’t had breakfast or washed up yet. I will prepare the washing articles for you and serve you while you wash.”

”I’ve also prepared breakfast for you.”

Saying this, she quickly ran to the side and fetched the washing articles.

She helped Lin Dong wash up, wipe his face, and tidy his clothes.

Lin Dong said, ”Let me do it myself.”

He was somewhat uncomfortable.

Li Qiuci hurriedly said, ”Master Lin, please let me serve you...”

Her eyes conveyed a trace of pleading; Lin Dong caught her gaze and turned his head away without speaking, which implicitly agreed.

Li Qiuci was overjoyed and became even more meticulous in helping Lin Dong wash his face.

Up close to Lin Dong’s face, her fingertips accidentally brushed gently over Lin Dong’s handsome cheek, causing her heart to race, her body to tingle, as if electrified.

”Li Qiuci, do people in Kimchi Nation always take this long to wash their faces?” Lin Dong, noticing she had been fussing over his face for nearly ten minutes, couldn’t help but ask.

Only then did Li Qiuci snap out of it, her cheeks reddened and she quickly nodded, ”Yes, yes, yes, people in Kimchi Nation take a long time to wash their faces.”

”Alright, Master Lin, you’re all washed up, let me serve you breakfast,” she said.

She brought over a bowl of seafood porridge, along with some delicately made pastries.

Seeing her about to feed him with a spoon, Lin Dong hurriedly waved his hand, ”I’ll do this myself.”

Being this old and having a woman feed him was something Lin Dong was quite uncomfortable with.

Li Qiuci looked at him expectantly again with the same look as before.

But this time, Lin Dong did not respond to her.

He took the spoon himself and began to eat.

Seeing this, Li Qiuci did not insist but asked eagerly with a face full of anticipation, ”Master Lin, how is it? How does the breakfast taste?”

Lin Dong nodded: ”It tastes very good. The seafood porridge is very fresh, clearly made with the finest seafood. These pastries are also very exquisite and delicate, reflecting that a lot of thought has gone into this breakfast.”

”Which chef made this?”

Li Qiuci’s smile blossomed like cherry blossoms, and she giggled, ”Master Lin, I made it.”

”Oh? You made it? Your culinary skills are impressive, truly at a five-star chef level,” Lin Dong praised.

Previously when she claimed her cooking was of hotel star-level quality, Lin Dong was somewhat skeptical, but after this breakfast, he was completely convinced.

Just as Lin Dong finished his breakfast, someone came to report from outside.

”Miss Qiuci, Miss An Nuolan has arrived!”

Hearing this, Li Qiuci said to Lin Dong, ”Master Lin, my friend has arrived. Please come with me to meet her.”

Lin Dong nodded and followed her out.

After reaching the Great Hall, Lin Dong saw a woman dressed in traditional garments from the Paocai Nation, standing there.

This woman’s appearance actually did not fall short of Li Qiu Ci’s, and she had an aura that seemed not to partake in the mortal fireworks.

Perhaps because she could not see this world, she appeared so pure, so untainted by even a trace of this world’s darkness.

Perhaps those who only see darkness in their eyes have a soul that is even brighter and more pure.

In her arms, she held a little white cat which was connected by a thin red thread that could guide the blind girl.

More effective than a guide dog.

At the moment, she seemed to sense that someone had arrived, and moreover, that there were two people.

She couldn’t help but speak, ”Qiu Ci, you have friends over?”

Li Qiu Ci quickly said:

”Nuolan, this is a Divine Doctor from Dragon Country. I invited him over today to treat your eyes.”

Upon hearing this, the blind girl named An Nuolan laughingly said, ”Qiu Ci, even Medical Saint Jin Yuan couldn’t cure me. Other divine doctors probably can’t cure me either.”

”But thank you anyway, these years, you have always sought divine doctors for me. Trying to help me cure my eyes, to let me see this beautiful world...”

Hearing this, Li Qiu Ci also laughingly said, ”Nuolan, let me tell you, this Divine Doctor from Dragon Country that I’ve invited this time, he’s even more incredible than Medical Saint Jin Yuan.”

”He might actually be able to cure your eyes.”

At this, she hurriedly looked towards Lin Dong and asked, ”Master Lin, now that you have seen Nuolan, do you think you can cure her eyes?”

Lin Dong nodded his head, ”No big problem, can be cured!”

Whoosh.

Upon hearing Lin Dong’s words, the blind girl An Nuolan trembled, she asked, ”This doctor from Dragon Country, are you serious?”

”Can you truly cure me?”

”Of course, I can. Your eyes, even though they are naturally this way. Your eye globes and such have no issues, it’s just that the inside is blocked by turbid Qi. This kind of turbid Qi can’t be detected by Western medicine, and surgery certainly can’t cure it.”

”As for your Eastern Medicine, though Medical Saint Jin Yuan is highly skilled in medicine, he is ultimately not a martial artist, so he doesn’t know how to ’Control Needles with Qi.’ Therefore, he can’t clear the turbid Qi in your eyes with inner Qi...”

”But this is not a difficult task for me.”

Saying this, he walked over to the blind girl An Nuolan’s side.

An Nuolan quickly said, ”If that’s the case, then please help me with the treatment. If you can cure it, I... I will be immensely grateful...”

Lin Dong, however, did not care about her gratitude; since he had encountered her, he might as well do a good deed.

He first took a piece of black cloth and then covered her eyes.

This was because during acupuncture, her eyes could not be exposed to light. Hence, the need for black cloth to cover the eyes.

After preparing everything, Lin Dong took out ten silver needles and inserted them into the acupoints around her eyes.

Then he circulated his inner Qi.

’Controlling needles with Qi,’ thus guiding the Qi with the needles.

After the inner Qi was transformed by the silver needles, it turned into a warm flow and entered into her eyes.

She could feel something obstructive inside her eyes being cleared.

It was like a blocked passage was suddenly opened.

Subsequently, her eyes felt as comfortable as if she was soaking in a hot spring.

The comfort made her couldn’t help but moan softly.

Perhaps knowing that the person performing the acupuncture was a man, An Nuolan’s face subconsciously reddened.

The sound, too, she couldn’t help but suppress.

But the more she did, the weirder it became.

Lin Dong laughingly said, ”Don’t suppress yourself; the sick need not hide from the doctor!”

Hearing this, An Nuolan’s rosy face nodded, no longer forcefully suppressing herself.

After about half an hour of acupuncture, Lin Dong stopped and removed all the silver needles.

After finishing this, Lin Dong finally said, ”Alright, the treatment is complete! You can take off the black cloth now!”
