Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 614: Chapter 614: Drop in Temperature

One hour later, Lin Dong had prepared all the ingredients necessary for the Sichuan hot pot.

The hot pot base ingredients were the most authentic Sichuan flavor.

And all the various ingredients were the freshest.

Lin Dong loved to eat spicy, and if a Sichuan hot pot wasn’t spicy, it essentially had lost its soul.

However, since two people were eating hot pot, Lin Dong generally chose the mandarin duck pot, half spicy pot, half clear soup pot.

Soon, the hot pot was ready to be eaten.

Lin Dong was in high spirits dipping lamb in the spicy side.

Watching Lin Dong eagerly eat dipped lamb, Qingye Piaoxue slightly frowned.

”Pervert, is this kind of thing healthy to eat?”

”Easy on the stomach, right? It looks really spicy.”

Lin Dong politely pointed to the clear soup side and said, ”Over there is light, if you don’t like spicy, you can eat from that side.”

”Hmph,” Qingye Piaoxue arrogantly turned her head, and began dipping lamb rolls on the other side.

However, the clear soup was indeed rather plain, and seeing Lin Dong enjoying himself so much, she couldn’t resist trying the spicy side as well.

She picked up a slice of lamb roll and dipped it in the spicy side.

Lin Dong looked at her, puzzled.

Her face turning red, Qingye Piaoxue said, ”I’m just trying a bite, just one. I won’t eat too much of this strong-flavored stuff.”

”Oh.”

Lin Dong nodded, picked up a piece of freshly cooked lamb roll, and held it to her mouth.

”Try it, this piece is just cooked.”

Her face going red again, Qingye Piaoxue still opened her mouth and ate it in one bite.

After chewing a few times, her eyes lit up. She realized that the spicy side was way tastier than the clear soup side.

No wonder Lin Dong was enjoying it so much.

”Come again with another piece!” Qingye Piaoxue said to Lin Dong after finishing that one.

Lin Dong couldn’t help but laugh, ”Didn’t you say you were just going to try a bite?”

”Since I’ve already tried it, why not eat a little more? Eating something strong-flavored once in a while shouldn’t be a problem,” Qingye Piaoxue stubbornly said, ”I’m definitely not eating it just because it’s delicious.”

Lin Dong almost laughed out loud; this woman was truly proud and haughty.

”Hurry up and pick up one for me?” Qingye Piaoxue gave him a rolling eyes and urged.

Lin Dong picked up another piece and held it to her mouth. She was just about to swallow it when...

At this moment, Lin Dong took the lamb roll away and popped it into his own mouth.

”If you want to eat, pick it up yourself!” Lin Dong shrugged.

Throwing a rolling eyes at him, Qingye Piaoxue glared and said, ”The reason I had you pick it up is because I’m not very good with chopsticks.”

”Otherwise, who would want to eat your saliva...”

Saying this, she angrily picked up her chopsticks, grabbed a big slice of lamb roll, and stuffed it into her mouth.

Lin Dong asked, puzzled, ”You seem to be very adept with those chopsticks, don’t you?”

”Just learned, okay?”

”Okay, try this one. This beef tripe is a must-have for me when eating hot pot.” Lin Dong picked up another piece of beef tripe and held it in front of Qingye Piaoxue’s mouth.

Qingye Piaoxue looked at Lin Dong hesitantly and didn’t eat it, fearing that Lin Dong would play her like he did just now.

”Come on, my hands are going to go numb holding it,” urged Lin Dong.

Qingye Piaoxue bit into it directly.

”Hmm, it does taste really good!” Qingye Piaoxue said, her face slightly flushed with approval.

”Want another piece?”

”Quickly bring it.”

The two people finished the hot pot, and it was already night.

After eating and drinking their fill, Qingye Piaoxue didn’t seem to be thinking about leaving.

Meanwhile, Lin Dong tidied up a bit.

”I’m going to take a bath, my body smells strongly,” said Qingye Piaoxue.

”My bedroom has a bathroom,” replied Lin Dong.

Qingye Piaoxue nodded and promptly walked to Lin Dong’s bedroom.

The bedroom was very large, as was the bathroom.

After entering the bathroom, she deliberated for a moment and did not close the door.

Halfway through her bath, Qingye Piaoxue shouted towards the door, ”Lin Dong, I don’t have any new clothes to change into! Do you have any women’s clothes here?”

Li Qingdai had lived in this villa for a while, and her room’s wardrobe was filled with a lot of new clothes.

So Lin Dong went over there and brought back a set of new clothes.

Approaching the bathroom door, and hearing the sound of water inside, Lin Dong held back at the last minute.

”I’ve brought the clothes,” Lin Dong said at the door.

At that moment, a pure white hand, dripping with water, reached out from inside the bathroom.

”Give me the clothes.”

Instead of handing over the clothes, Lin Dong yanked the bathroom door open.

With her face all red, Qingye Piaoxue glared at Lin Dong and asked, ”What are you doing?”

Lin Dong didn’t reply, but marched straight into the bathroom.

Qingye Piaoxue glared at him, saying, ”What are you doing coming in here, get out!”

”I just had hot pot and I’m feeling really hot. I need a cool water rinse to cool down!” Lin Dong grumbled.

”Then you should wait until I’m done to come in,” Qingye Piaoxue countered.

”No can do; a person alone can’t cool down enough,” Lin Dong said, and then he lunged at Qingye Piaoxue.

Initially, Qingye Piaoxue resisted haughtily.

However, it didn’t take long before she gave up resisting and even took the initiative.

Teasing her, Lin Dong said, ”Qingye Piaoxue, you’ve wanted this all along, haven’t you? That’s why you deliberately left the bathroom door open.”

”Not at all, not at all!” Qingye Piaoxue exclaimed loudly.

”Pervert, I’m also trying to cool down. It’s my first time eating such a spicy hot pot, it was too hot.”

”Hmph, stubborn woman. Let’s see if you can keep being so stubborn,” Lin Dong taunted.
