Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 243: Chapter 243 I Lost

”If it doesn’t work out, I could always find a rich woman to be a gigolo...”

Facing Li Qingdai’s sarcasm, Lin Dong frowned slightly.

”Qingdai, how can you speak to your future master like that!” Old Divine Doctor Li Qingyang scolded.

”Uh... Grandpa, what master? He’s just a swindler pretending to be something he’s not,” Li Qingdai muttered.

”You’ll see. Just watch carefully and learn,” Li Qingyang said as he shook his head and ignored his granddaughter.

He stepped forward and addressed the patient in front of Lin Dong:

”This patient here, I am Li Qingyang. You know of me, right?”

”Of course, of course, Needle King Li Qingyang, Old Miracle Doctor. How could I possibly not know you? So, are you going to cure me?” the patient asked with surprise.

Li Qingyang shook his head, ”No, I want you to cooperate with this Young Miracle Doctor here. You said you weren’t confident in him, but I can vouch for him with my own reputation, and I assure you, nothing will go wrong!”

Having seen Lin Dong treat Old Master Ye and use the technique of ’Controlling Needles with Qi’, Li Qingyang naturally dared to make such a guarantee.

Hearing that Old Divine Doctor Li Qingyang was vouching for him, the patient then said:

”In that case, I’ll let him give it a try.”

With the backing of Old Miracle Doctor Li Qingyang, he was no longer worried.

At that moment the patient gritted his teeth and said to Lin Dong, ”Okay, you can cure me now.”

He looked just like a lab rat about to be experimented on.

Lin Dong was at a loss for words.

But there was nothing he could do; patients are like that, choosing doctors based on fame and titles, or sometimes age.

Very few people would go to a doctor who is both unknown and young.

Because you can’t be sloppy with treatment; no one wants to gamble with their safety.

”Relax, it’s okay. It will be over quickly...” Lin Dong gave him a warm smile.

He started asking about his condition.

”What’s bothering you?”

”My back, it hurts a bit. And... I always feel like I can’t empty my bladder completely, and it hurts when I pee!”

”Prostatitis. Take off your outer pants; I’ll give you acupuncture.”

”Ah...” The patient was a bit embarrassed.

”It’s just the outer pants, nothing to be embarrassed about,” Lin Dong said.

The man bit his lip and ultimately obediently took off his outer trousers.

Lin Dong took the Acupuncture Bag he always carried with him from his chest.

He then took out a long needle from the Acupuncture Bag!

Seeing the long needle, the patient got a bit nervous, ”Are you sure this will work?”

”Don’t worry!”

Lin Dong reassured him and then found the Shenshu acupoint on his lower back and promptly started the needle treatment!

The technique used was the ’Three Lifts and Three Releases’ from the Taiyi Yin-yang Divine Needle!

He did not use the method of Leaving the Needle in for treatment!

This needling technique emphasizes speed!

In less than a minute, Lin Dong said:

”All right, you can pull your pants up now!”

”What?” Hearing this, the patient was stunned. I had just taken off my pants, and now you’re telling me it’s done?

It was way too fast!

Even the three-second man can’t beat that!

But this was a medical treatment.

How could it be so quick?

He began to doubt whether he had really been cured.

At this point, Lin Dong had already started treating the next person.

The next one, just as fast!

In less than ten seconds, he inserted and removed the needles!

Quickly, he had completed acupuncture for all five patients, and the whole process was done without any delay, taking less than five minutes all together!

At this time, Li Qingdai was still treating her second patient.

”I’m done!” Lin Dong announced.

And with his words, a bustling noise rose in the medical consulting room.

They were the voices of patients who had come to watch the excitement and some apprentices.

”How is this possible?”

”He looked like he was just playing around!”

”Who cures disease this way? One needle and done, does he think he’s an immortal?”

”Five patients, from diagnosis to acupuncture to recovery, all in less than five minutes. It’s too fake!”

”Exactly, just now Old Miracle Doctor Li Qingyang’s granddaughter took more than ten minutes treating one. The way she inserted the needles looked so comforting, unlike him; it was over before we even got a clear look.”

”That’s what you call real treatment by Old Miracle Doctor Li Qingyang’s granddaughter. What he does is just scamming!”

”...”

A bunch of patients felt that Lin Dong’s treatment was totally ineffective, equating him to a scammer.

Seeing this, Lin Dong said in a deep voice, ”The patients will be the judge of whether it worked or not!”

As soon as he said this, the five who had just been treated by Lin Dong started speaking one after another.

”I had cervical spondylosis, and it was killing me just now. But after he did the acupuncture, it doesn’t hurt at all! It’s truly effective!”

”The same for me, my chest was tight, but after he gave me acupuncture, I feel much better! He’s not a scammer, he’s a divine healer!”

The first patient, who had been cured of his prostatitis, had immediately gone to the restroom after the treatment.

Now, he had finished and come back.

Looking totally self-assured and ecstatic, he ran up to Lin Dong, holding his hand with tears of gratitude, saying:

”You really are a divine healer, absolutely amazing! In just a moment, you cured a problem that’s troubled me for years.”

”I just peed so comfortably, it didn’t hurt at all, and there was no feeling of not being able to empty my bladder. Haha, my youth is back!”

Seeing this scene, those who had called Lin Dong a scammer were all dumbstruck.

They stood as still as chickens, in utter disbelief!

As for Li Qingdai, she too looked at Lin Dong with a complex expression on her face.

At the moment, she finally realized her grandpa was right.

This man before her, who looked even younger than herself, really had medical skills that far surpassed her own!

”I’ve lost!”

She lowered her head, which had been held so high, and said to Lin Dong with a bitter voice.
