Apocalyptic Flood: Sexy Beauty Neighbor's Midnight Plea for Food

Chapter 1689: Chapter 1021: Discovery

A report from the personnel on the watchtower came through the walkie-talkie.

General Keen immediately picked up the walkie-talkie and said, “Which direction?”

“Southwest, General.”

General Keen quickly grabbed his binoculars and looked towards the southwest.

Sure enough, on the horizon in the southwest direction, a small black dot appeared.

General Keen swiftly adjusted the focus to zoom in and examine it.

A moment later, he put down the binoculars.

Lieutenant Commander Kawasaki quickly asked, “General, did you discover something?”

General Keen glanced at him, nodded, and said, “It’s an island.”

“A Floating Island?” Lieutenant Commander Kawasaki’s eyes lit up and he immediately asked.

“It’s still not certain, it’s too far away.”

General Keen shook his head and then thought of something, immediately taking out a tablet.

He then swiftly opened the map application on it.

This was an offline map, and without the internet now, it had been a long time since online map data could be seen.

Even these offline maps no longer had positioning functionality.

The Earth’s magnetic field was chaotic, making positioning useless.

General Keen swiped with his fingers and quickly began to search for any islands that might have existed in these waters before the apocalypse.

A moment later, General Keen’s eyes revealed a revelation.

Beside him, Lieutenant Commander Kawasaki was already anxious, but after being captured on this ship, he had long lost his freedom.

Not to mention a tablet, even his Superpower Stone had been confiscated.

Now he could only be patient and smiled, saying, “General, is there any clue?”

General Keen slightly nodded: “This area is part of the Ryukyu Islands, and the highest island in all of Ryukyu is called Central Island.”

“If it’s not a Floating Island, then it’s most likely this Central Island.”

Lieutenant Commander Kawasaki exclaimed in surprise, “Is there still a place in Ryukyu not submerged?”

“The highest elevation of Central Island is nearly a thousand meters, so it’s possible it’s not completely submerged. We’ll know by taking a look.” General Keen said.

Lieutenant Commander Kawasaki’s eyes flickered, then he smiled and said, “If it’s indeed a Floating Island, that would be great. It’s bound to have plenty of resources inside.”

“Congratulations to the General in advance for another fruitful discovery.”

Lieutenant Commander Kawasaki chuckled, with genuine anticipation in his eyes.

He picked up the walkie-talkie and said, “Notify the first mate, speed up and head towards that island.”

“Roger that.”

As soon as he gave the order, several warships accelerated and began to rapidly approach that island.

Meanwhile, on the Ryukyu Island, Zhang Qiubing, who was with people catching fish, stood by the riverbank, holding a pair of binoculars in his hands as well.

He had seized these from the original Japanese people.

Because of Zhuang Shuyuan and others, his status had now dramatically increased, and his influence on the island was not small.

However, he knew his own limits and did not abuse this bit of power but instead tried hard to demonstrate his abilities by establishing a patrol team and organizing people to catch food.

He only hoped his performance would catch Mr. Liang’s attention.

He was very aware that these people had to be here for other reasons.

He didn’t know how long they would stay.

But he knew this was his only chance to show off.

He had to perform well enough before these people left, so they would consider taking him with them.

So, during this period, he had been diligently taking care of everything.

At that moment, his action of looking with binoculars suddenly paused.

The next moment, he quickly put down the binoculars and rubbed his eyes.

Then, unwilling to accept it, he picked up the binoculars again and gazed at the sea.

This time, his expression completely changed!

“Fleet!”

“Could it be Mr. Liang’s people?”

Zhang Qiubing’s expression shifted, and he quickly turned around and ran towards the direction of welcoming the enemy.

He had to inform them as soon as possible.

Below, those Japanese women were still catching fish and looked puzzled as they saw him suddenly leave.

However, they did nothing and continued with their tasks.

Because the island was so small, and the outside was all sea.

They had nowhere to go.

At that moment, Zhang Qiubing sprinted along and quickly reached near the spaceship.

Huihui was on duty, and upon seeing his sudden arrival, she couldn’t help but frown and asked, “What’s happening?”

“Not good, Miss Huihui, a fleet has appeared on the sea, I don’t know if they’re yours, so I hurriedly came back to report.”

Zhang Qiubing quickly said.

Huihui was startled and quickly asked, “Fleet? How many ships?”

“Three or four.”

“It’s too far, I can only see three or four, don’t know if there are more behind.” Zhang Qiubing, fearing he’d mislead her, quickly added.

“Approximately how far?” Huihui asked immediately.

“Uh, I don’t know either, I can only see several ships’ outlines.”

Huihui stopped asking more, knowing Zhang Qiubing had no military training, and definitely wouldn’t know how to estimate distance by direct observation.

She had to report to Zhuang Shuyuan immediately.

Knock, knock, knock.

Zhuang Shuyuan was lazily resting inside the spaceship cabin.

Occasionally, she’d take some snacks and drinks from the Storage Space and, when bored, would sneak a glance at Liang Yuan beside her.

Liang Yuan’s Spiritual Power was focused entirely on the Netherworld, naturally having no time to concern himself with her.

Zhuang Shuyuan wasn’t in a hurry; when bored, she’d cultivate for a while.

At that time, Huihui was anxiously knocking on the door from outside.

“Minister, several ships have been spotted on the sea!”

Zhuang Shuyuan was immediately taken aback, sitting up instantly and saying, “Ships?”

She opened the cabin door, and both Huihui and Xiaojie were already standing at the entrance, their expressions very serious.

Zhuang Shuyuan quickly asked, “What’s going on? Where did the ships come from?”

Huihui quickly replied, “Zhang Qiubing noticed it first, then notified me. I activated radar monitoring immediately, but it’s too far to be detected. I used binoculars, and indeed it’s a fleet, with English on it.”

“English? Foreign?”

Zhuang Shuyuan was surprised. She further asked, “How many?”

“Four can be seen at present, but it’s too far, don’t know if there are more behind.”

Zhuang Shuyuan’s expression became serious and said, “Four? If the scale is not small, it’s probably not a regular force. Are they headed in our direction?”

“Yes, very clearly, without any attempt to hide.” Xiaojie instantly replied.

Huihui suggested, “Should we pilot the spaceship over for a look?”

Zhuang Shuyuan spoke gravely, “They must be heading for this island of ours.”

She thought briefly and said, “I’ll go inform Mr. Liang, you continue to observe and keep track of their movements.”

“Yes.”

Zhuang Shuyuan quickly returned inside the cabin to find Liang Yuan’s avatar.

“Mr. Liang?”

Liang Yuan’s avatar heard Zhuang Shuyuan’s call and opened his eyes.

“What’s the matter?”

Zhuang Shuyuan hurriedly said, “A fleet is approaching us, and it feels like they’re heading towards us.”

Liang Yuan slightly raised an eyebrow at this and asked, “Do we know who they are?”

“Not yet, they’re still too far away, but should be here soon.”

Liang Yuan contemplated, stood up, as his main body and the Netherworld avatar each had their tasks, there wasn’t much requiring his main body’s attention, so he drew his attention back.

“Go gather everyone, have them return for now, and don’t stay outside in case they capture someone.”

Zhuang Shuyuan quickly nodded and immediately went out to have Huihui find Zhang Qiubing to come over.

Liang Yuan stepped out of the spaceship and floated up into the sky.

Zhuang Shuyuan followed closely, flying alongside him.

“Are you going over proactively?”

Liang Yuan slightly shook his head, “No need, let’s see what they want first. Confirm if they’re friend or foe, then decide.”

“Alright.”
