Apocalyptic Flood: Sexy Beauty Neighbor's Midnight Plea for Food

Chapter 651: Chapter 267 Mutated Poisonous Toad_2

The amphibious mutant beasts are very terrifying, he and Liang Yuan once crossed the building together to go to the building where Yang Shenmin and the others were located, encountering attacks from mutant frogs.

They were even chased up the building by mutant frogs, he remembers it very vividly.

”Brother Liang, are you planning to cross that swamp?”

Liang Yuan slightly nodded, ”This swamp needs to be cleared, I need to go to Meishan to check the situation over there.”

”If possible, it’s best to re-establish transportation between the two mountains, expanding the activity range of the shelter residents.”

Ding Yan said, ”Meishan used to be a Yangmei planting base, with a lot of Yangmei trees. I wonder if those Yangmei count as mutated fruit.”

What Ding Yan implied was, if there are many mutated fruits over there, would it create a lot of superpower users.

Mind you, the more superpower users, it means Meishan won’t be weak.

The other side might not welcome people from our side.

Liang Yuan shook his head, ”Everything has to be seen over there to know, speculating now is meaningless.”

”Today let’s first check out the situation of the swamp, to see if it’s really as dangerous as the miners described.”

”If we can handle it, maybe we can try to build bridges or something later.”

”The area of Meishan is quite large, there should be many survivors, perhaps we can try to communicate and exchange resources and such.”

Ding Yan frowned, ”Actually, Yangshan is not small, if we manage it well, it would be enough for us to be self-sufficient.”

Zhao Kai couldn’t help but say, ”That’s right, we only have over a thousand people, Yangshan is so big we can’t even patrol it all, do we really need to care about Meishan?”

Liang Yuan sighed, ”In the future, Yangshan needs to gather more people, and Sister Mei’s parents might be in Meishan.”

With these words, Ding Yan and Zhao Kai understood immediately.

Liang Yuan wants to go to Meishan, likely more to find Yang Mei’s parents.

The two no longer said more, they nodded and moved forward.

They soon arrived at the mining area.

The three of them did not show up, instead, they secretly observed around the mining area.

Today at the mining area, Huang Han, Shi Haizhu and others were leading the team.

The mining area was lively, not only the original mine slaves, but many from the three original shelters also came to the mining area to dig.

Many clever ones had set up small stalls to sell things.

Liang Yuan saw Zhuang Shuyuan leading Gao Jie and Bai Zhirui selling things nearby.

The atmosphere in the entire mining area was hot and bustling.

The three of them walked around, not finding any patrolling teams bullying people maliciously or indulging in corruption, they felt relieved and continued heading west.

Going west all the way, they walked around six or seven kilometers, the mountain slope gradually inclined, and they walked downhill.

Liang Yuan found a high point and jumped up.

Zhao Kai and Ding Yan also hurriedly climbed up, standing on the rock overlooking the west.

Misty water vapor shrouded the water surface and green mountains, like a veil covering the heavens and the earth.

Heavy rain washed the earth, in the distance smoke waves vast, green pines roaring.

Liang Yuan saw, about five kilometers away, there was a lake.

Further across the lake was another green mountain.

That side is Meishan.

The lake between them should have a water surface length of three to four kilometers.

Actually, three or four kilometers isn’t wide, at least looking over, it doesn’t seem far.

Liang Yuan estimated, with the burst speed of the Red Pig Wheel, and telekinesis to float, crossing this distance would be no problem.

With his current amount of superpower, sustaining flight for three or four kilometers is a piece of cake.

”Doesn’t seem too far,” Zhao Kai couldn’t help but say.

Ding Yan also said, ”How many mutant creatures could there be in this three or four-kilometer lake?”

Liang Yuan slightly shook his head, ”It’s hard to say, the water flow here is very gentle, many mutant creatures could choose to settle here.”

”The specific situation, we have to check out the riverbank to know.”

Zhao Kai nodded, ”Then let’s go and check it out.”

”Let’s go,” Liang Yuan nodded.

The few of them flew down, Ding Yan said, ”Did you notice? The rain has indeed lessened.”

Zhao Kai also said, ”Indeed, it used to be a heavy downpour, now the rain is still heavy, but it seems to be light and fluttering.”

Fluttering rain gives a light feeling.

If it’s a heavy downpour, you get a thick impact feeling.

This change indicates the rain has indeed lessened.

Liang Yuan said, ”Looks like the military’s message is likely coming true, this heavy downpour should really be stopping soon.”

”It’s good if it stops, then we can see the sun, I’ve almost forgotten what the sun looks like,” Zhao Kai couldn’t help but say.

Ding Yan also said, ”Yes, I really miss the taste of sunlight.”

Both of them were feeling sentimental, Liang Yuan also said, ”Indeed, without sunlight, this world is about to become moldy.”

Too much moisture, many places are getting moldy.

In the past buildings, many areas in the corridors had mold stains.

Only places where people often stayed had fewer mold stains.

Now moved to Yangshan, the caves are comparatively drier, everyone uses fire, so the humidity isn’t as bad.

The few of them chatted while on the move.

Suddenly, Liang Yuan’s footsteps halted.

Ding Yan and Zhao Kai quickly stopped, showing a vigilant look.

”What’s the matter, Brother Liang?”

”Is there a situation?”

Liang Yuan stared at the bushes in the distance and said in a deep voice, ”There, something’s there.”

Ding Yan responded immediately, ”I’ll handle it!”

She stepped forward, swinging her right leg in a kick.

Swish!

A crescent-shaped light blade shot out fiercely.
