Tempest of the Stellar War

In times of crisis, it was necessary to have a pillar of support. At least for this round, Yan Xiaosu who was all along hiding at the back had become the mainstay. His confidence was overflowing and influenced the masses, and even Achilles, who had never bothered with Xiaosu, took a few glances this time round.

He had the same thoughts as Yan Xiaosu. Everyone had thought that Wang Zheng was brazen and not afraid of death, but they were so wrong. If that was the case, Wang Zheng would have died several times, from the IG training to the deep abyss. It was not to say that he was advancing gradually step by step, but it was definite that he was absolutely careful with his train of thought. And such survival abilities had already reached a horrifying state.

Although the Earth Grade killer was terrifying, but compared to the conditions of the the deep abyss it was still lacking a little. And having escaped from the hands of Heaven once, if it was him, this was nothing serious to worry about.

To speak the truth, it was difficult to tell who was the prey and the predator respectively.

In a game of life and death, it was not based on one’s strengths listed on paper. In the vast jungle, there was enough space for one to maximise his potential, especially for Wang Zheng who was as ferocious as a beast.

Snow Li and the others settled down, and all they could do now was just to wait.

Tyrant Su had hit the jackpot knowing Wang Zheng’s mind. At this point of time, Wang Zheng was charging towards the primitive forests that was exclusive to the Titatitan Star. Just like a beast that had got out of his cage, he showed no signs of fear, and instead one could tell from his eyes that he was extremely excited about it.

Heaven was undoubtedly his best opponent to test his abilities. He was embarrassed the first time they had met, but yet his opponent wasn’t afraid to give him a second chance.

Skills and techniques were required for any forms of battle, and Heaven was of a higher level than Wang Zheng. This was something known to many but when confronted upfront, Heaven was a little more foolish than what he had seemed to be, and there was sufficient room for him to turn the situation around. Wang Zheng was most confident with his physical strength and toughness, which was exploiting his physical combat techniques to his advantage, and reducing the image of his own Ability X.

Even for warriors like them, they were human beings after all. They would get tired, hungry, restless, just like everyone else. At most, their endurance abilities would be stronger and Heaven had failed to factor this into consideration. Wang Zheng was not someone with no combat experience, instead he was a warrior that had experienced all kinds of hardships and tough battles.

It was unthinkable for an Earth Grade Killer who had yet to recover from his injuries along with a broken hand, to be up against Wang Zheng who was gearing up for battle. As long as he was able to blunt Heaven’s momentum, the so-called Earth Grade experts weren’t Wang Zheng’s match at all.

And hence Wang Zheng had already came up with a countermeasure for the challenge. Such an environment could ensure Heaven’s safety, and at the same time, it provided a vast space for Wang Zheng to run around.

It was as if the entire place was his playing field.

Heaven frowned. He was rather confident with regards to his speed. In a place where one could make use of the wood element of the five cycles, esepcailly the wind affinity, it would be extremely humiliating if one’s speed was lacking. But…. the fact was that he just could not catch up with this little brat.

At their most recent battle, the two of them were only a few metres apart. But Wang Zheng was precise in his moves and worked his way around skillfully, utilising the environment to defeat Heaven. And definitely, Heaven could not take this down his throat, only displaying an expression of lament on his face. He thought he had his chances of winning, but the truth was he could not even catch up with Wang Zheng, it was embarrassing.

Well, he had no choice but to chase after Wang Zheng at all costs. The two of them chased through the forests, and that carried on for two hours. Heaven was relentless in his chase, and Wang Zheng ran even faster. Similarly, the moment Heaven adjusted his pace to relax a little, Wang Zheng slowed down his steps to rest while keeping a safe distance between themselves.

Heaven wasn’t that foolish, he had already understood the plans of his opponent. But Wang Zheng seemed to have belittled him too much. For anyone who wishes to progressed to the Earth Grade, there was definitely a price to pay. Physical abilities and resilience had no bearing at all!

Not forgetting the fact that in Heaven’s eyes, Wang Zheng’s actions and plans were already a blatant act of provocation.

And in reality, Wang Zheng knew clearly that Heaven would have figured out his plans, this was a known strategy.

At this point, it was impossible for one to have no confidence in oneself, but this was the time to test one’s fundamentals.

Another two hours had passed. The two of them weren’t merely chasing and running, there was mind games involved as well. Wang Zheng definitely did not think of escaping so easily. If he had sensed that Heaven was about to take a short breather, he would purposely close up on the gap to provoke him further. Aren’t you dying to kill me? I’m right here in front of you, come and get me quickly.

Heaven was in a fury. Wang Zheng was actually a strong warrior with multiple abilities, and this type of people were difficult to deal with. But typically, having a variety of abilities would mean that one might not be skilled. It was especially so when he was of the Xuan Grade, just how skilled could he be? But the speed that came with the wind affinity ability was limited. Even if one had progressed to the Earth Grade, he could not use the ability freely and his body would not be able to withstand it. When one reaches the Earth Grade, it was even more necessary to allocate one’s abilities and resources reasonably and effectively.

But Wang Zheng was even faster and more agile as compared to Heaven. After a few times of exchanging blows, Heaven had realised that Wang Zheng’s agility came from his physical techniques.

Wang Zheng’s physical techniques were incredible, Heaven was confident of his physical techniques too, but after chasing for more than four hours, he knew that Wang Zheng was better in terms of agility.

Both of them were now fighting in terms of endurance and toughness. Although it seemed like they were keeping their distance from each other, none of them dared to take a short breather. For the moment when one of them loses focus, the opponent could potentially take the opportunity to launch an attack.

Of course, Heaven still helmed the upper hand in this battle. It would be even better if Wang Zheng had sent himself over. Heaven had thought of exposing one of his weakness and show signs of fatigue, but his intuition told him that Wang Zheng would not fall for such an amateur trick.

Well, Heaven was not an Earth Grade killer who was aged and frail. In fact, he was just a little over thirty years old, and was probably at his peak. Of course, he had wanted to advance further. Four hours had passed, Wang Zheng’s body was probably tired as well, and he was tensed up. Compared to Heaven, Wang Zheng was definitely more tired and worried.

Heaven was in control of his speed, although it was not till the extent of luring Wang Zheng to attack him, but he had his plans. After four hours of chasing, the opponent should be convinced that an ‘uncle’ like him would have been exhausted.

But honestly, Heaven didn’t feel tired at all, this was nothing to him as he had escaped death once.

And so Heaven slowed down his speed whilst chasing Wang Zheng. At times, he paused for a while, indicating that he needed to take a short break.

Yet another two hours passed, and the skies turned dark. After more than six hours of pursuit, both of them were indeed tired. And as the last ray of sunlight faded into the skies, there was an additional feeling of hunger after the long hours of pursuit.

The body would have period of adaptation. Heaven, at this point, had suddenly turned extremely ferocious. It was an explosion of his Ability X, and he was charging towards Wang Zheng at full speed.

Not only did the Elite Academy impart combat techniques, they had also taught their students various aspects of knowledge, ranging from psychology to research on the human body structure.

Heaven was approaching Wang Zheng at top speed. And at the same time, there was a strong current flowing in the space around him. There was something different about the current and wind in the atmosphere.

This was going to be a rough fight.

But Wang Zheng was all prepared. He had never underestimated any of his opponents, especially Heaven. If not, he would have fought hard. For Heaven to come forward once again after the previous incident, he definitely had a certain level of confidence. And it was useless to have an ace in the hole.

Wang Zheng ignited his flame ability X and an instant burst of flames served as a interference to the battle. And Wang Zheng took the chance to swiftly widen the gap between them, so that Heaven could not catch up so easily.

Heaven was furious and stomped his feet. The sudden burst, though it was as fast as lightning failed to catch his opponent off guard! It was shocking that the opponent was already prepared and did not give him a chance.

But the problem was, after a round of charging forward, when he slowed down his pace, Wang Zheng slowed down accordingly.

For the very first time, Heaven felt like the situation had gotten out of control.
