Tempest of the Stellar War

Angela shook her head. It was funny how she had ended up taking sides with Wang Zheng instead.

Lin Huiyin pulled Aina as they talked. It had been a few days since they last met each other. If it was in the past, they would not feel anything, but perhaps both of them had grown up, and besides music, Aina was the only one she could communicate with.

Aina smiled, and patted Huiyin’s head, “That’s enough, don’t complain any further. Just wait a little more, I will arrange a peace ambassador mission for you to get out of here.”

“I just knew it, my sister is the best! If I stay here any longer with these documents, I will be bored to death.” Lin Huiyin exclaimed with joy, for she knew that her sister was the only one who could save her from her current situation.

“Actually, what the Prime Minister wants you to do, it’s all for your own good my dear.” Aina smiled.

Aina was getting prettier, and everyone acknowledged that it was because her Royal Highness had the demeanor of the Queen.

“How I wished our dear Prime Minister had a little more of a human touch. I’m her daughter you know? Ahh, this is giving me a headache.”

Huiyin was just like a small adult, imitating Kashawen’s troubled expression.

“Let’s not talk about these unhappy stuff, is there anything interesting recently?”

“Definitely, there is! Someone confessed his love to Angela, but got beaten up and ended up in the hospital. These two fools, Oz and Aurora, fought each other once again, and also ended up being hospitalized. They’re so foolish. My dear sister, when you become the Queen in the future, you can ennoble them as foolish knights.”

Aina listened with a smile on her face. In the past, she was close to all these happenings, but now, it became far away stories that were communicated to her. Burying herself into the cosy sofa, within the palace, this was the only place that she could let down her hair and show her fatigue.

Di di di….

Right at this moment, there was a Skylink call.

Aina’s smile turned stiff for a second, and returned to normal. It was just a momentary feeling of being isolated.

Lin Huiyin did not speak anymore. At this time, to call Aina on her Skylink, it would definitely be someone extraordinary or there was a special matter that needed her attention.

Aina connected her Skylink, and Huiyin shunned to a blind spot so that she could see the screen but the caller could not see her.

It was Kashawen. Upon seeing her mother whom had a dead serious expression on her face, Huiyin stuck out her tongue, and was even more careful about being in the range of Aina’s Skylink video.

“Greetings, Prime Minister.”

Aina had a slender figure, and had a perfect posture fitting for a princess. She was so prim and proper, and there were no signs of the laziness she had earlier when she laid on the sofa.

Kashawen nodded her head in satisfaction. “Sign off this document. Oh yes, it’s your personal time now, you can call me Aunt.”

Lin Huiyin could not believe her eyes. Her mother who was so fierce and terrifying, could put on a smile on her face?

“Yes, Aunt.” Aina kept her smile throughout, coupled with her sincere gaze, there was nothing one could pick on her.

But, Lin Huiyin still felt that this was not the real Aina.

The document was received in an instant. Aina opened the document, but was at a loss upon seeing its content. One must know that, her ability to control her expressions was already at its peak, and almost no one could see anything through her facial expression.

But this time, she was stunned.

Enclosed within the document, was neither government matters, nor was it a tip-off. Instead, it contained several résumés.

ID photographs, background information, education qualifications and experience …. It was all recorded down in detail.

And the similarity between all of them were the fact that they were all males, and they were all outstanding individuals from the Aslan royal family.

Kashawen said: “These are the potential candidates for your husband-to-be, and this document is not an exhaustive list.”

“Could it be that the royal family’s reserves have been used up, till the point that they have to sell the princess? I vaguely remember when I last saw the ledgers, there were still profits that were recorded down?” Lin Huiyin thought to herself.

Aina took a deep breath, and returned to her smiling self once again. She was calm and composed, and even looked like she was going to oppose Kashawen.

Lin Huiyin blinked her big eyes. She took a glance at her mother through the screen, before looking at Aina who was full of momentum. At last, her gaze landed on the pile of résumés. Even she had felt that her mother had gone a little overboard.

Kashawen did not change, “Even the Queen needs a partner. These youngsters are the pillars of the nation. Regardless of family background, capabilities, they are all suitable for you. Of course, they are just candidates, and you are free to like anyone, as long as that person does not bring harm to the Aslan Empire.”

Freedom does not come without conditions.

Huiyin was worried that Aina would flare up, but Aina remained composed, and still had a smile on her face. She kindly responded, “Aunt, thanks for the reminder. I know, and certainly learned a lot. The Queen certainly will have a partner, but that is to be decided by the Queen herself. When she needs any assistance, she will let you know, and these are the rules as well .”

Kashawen was not angry with Aina’s response, and in fact, she had great admiration for Aina, “Your Royal Highness, you have a point. How about this, forward this document to Huiyin and see if there’s anyone that she likes.”

“Mom, are you sure you’re my mother?” Lin Huiyin jumped out. Being a innocent bystander, she was unwilling to be dragged into this.

“Princess Aina served the country, and made many sacrifices. Similarly, being a princess, you ought to bear the responsibilities of the country. If you cannot contribute in terms of helping out with government affairs, then marriage is your only way out.”

Kashawen said lightly. It was obvious that word had gotten to her regarding Huiyin’s recent performance.

Huiyin did not dare to confront her own mother in such an imposing manner.

Aina smiled,”Aunt, as her eldest sister, I will make arrangements for Huiyin. And I believe, I will let Huiyin achieve her happiness, while maintaining the glory and honour of the Aslan Empire.”

Kashawen was left speechless in an instant. When their video call finally ended, Huiyin hugged Aina and gave her a kiss.

“My dear sister, you’re the best, I love you so much!”

Huiyin had longed for the schooling life, being away from red tape, and endless responsibilities.

Luckily there was Aina to speak for her. Actually Huiyin wasn’t dumb, she knew clearly the reason why the royal family was so anxious. It was because among the countries in the Milky Way Alliance, including the strong and the weak ones, although they were called an Empire, but the Aslan Empire was the only one that was controlled by the royal family. This was how the Aslan royal family was exposed to those in the Milky Way Alliance, and not only did they have to do well, they had to do better than everyone else.

If it was just a royal family in name, even if there were several huge scandals, it would not have much of an impact. But the Aslan Empire could not afford to have such incidents happening to them. Otherwise, this would mean that there were loopholes that were attacked by their opponents, under the governance of the the royal family.

This was not merely from within the country itself, but also enemies who were eyeing from the outside.

And because she understood, all the more she did not want to get involved in government affairs and politics. She was just as helpless as Aina, but under the protection of her sister, she was able to distance herself a little.

But one should enjoy the time at this moment in spite of tomorrow.

Over at Titatitan Star, Wang Zheng ended up being an escort. He had no choice as they were all coming for him. He could not ignore them either. Besides, Lie Xin and Ai Xiaolu were at loggerheads. If he had taken a side, the other would definitely not be pleased about it either.

Wang Zheng had enough for the past two days. It was as though the three ladies were putting up a show, and they were going all out for him. He had approached Yan Xiaosu for help, but Tyrant Su was the first to run away. These ladies were on another level that was beyond his abilities.

It was necessary to say that, individuals with abilities and those without abilities ought to live in two different worlds. If one has someone who could ascend to the heavens and descend to earth, it would be okay if they were friends. But if they were to be in a relationship, the pressure would be too much to bear, not to mention bringing into play one’s ability to fool around.

Jasper was one of the potential choices as well, but it was a pity as he was even more incompetent compared to Yan Xiaosu. Typically he was a frivolous talker, but the moment Ai Xiaolu had taken a fancy for him, he was lovestruck and started to act cute.

Lie Xin and Ai Xiaolu seemed to be facing off with each other and this was not the first time they had brought up the idea of having a match to end their personal feuds upon returning to the Elite Academy.

The situation had escalated so quickly.

Lie Xin was anxious to see the world plunge into chaos, and there was nothing holding her back.

“I heard that the ladies from Mars are very easy-going, and open towards sex?” Ai Xiaolu asked.

Lie Xin stood upright, showing her ample bosom and despising Ai Xiaolu’s chests, “You believe in such childish things? Our girls from Mars are very generous and passionate, that’s true though. If we like someone, we’ll go for it, that is a given. It is a crime to be coquettish, it’s an obstruction to human development.

Wang Zheng and Achilles held in their laughter. The quibble between the two ladies was like an art, and the both of them were exceptional masterpieces. It was an art watching the two ladies quibble. Both of them were perplexed, and this was one of the rare times Achilles had witnessed such a scene. After all, the ladies on the Moon would never be so wild.

“Hmm, things don’t happen without a reason. Wang Zheng, the Hail Cloud Star and the Earth share the same style. Although it may be a little conservative, but from another perspective this is being prudent. I guess you guys will still take this to heart, am I right?”

Ai Xiaolu suddenly took aim at Wang Zheng.

Wang Zheng rubbed his nose and said, “Actually, Achilles, wonder if I may ask, what style do your people from the Moon have?”

This was a diversion tactic, changing the direction of the conversation. With Achilles’s demeanor befitting that of a handsome guy, it should work out.

Achilles smiled and said, “The one that Senior Ai is asking, it’s you Wang Zheng.”

Achilles knew that he would have to pay for his words and actions, and swiftly threw the question back to Wang Zheng.

Lie Xin was a little disdained, “What’s there to cover up? I’m still a virgin. Why? Is it very important? I have what you have, but I also have what you don’t.”

She was still looking down on Ai Xiaolu’s chest.

Wang Zheng and Achilles were stunned. Indeed, women were really terrifying.

Savage, domineering, mighty, and obstinate!

Ai Xiaolu was a genius from young with high IQ. No matter what she did, others would always admit defeat. Based on her past situations, this was probably the first time she had met someone like Lie Xin who was so strong headed and had no limits.

Ai Xiaolu laughed, and held Snow Li and De Fulei respectively on both sides, “The three of us are united as one. We’re preparing to look for a boyfriend. Oh yes, in our Hail Cloud Alliance, we’re allowed to have polygamy marriages.”

Ai Xiaolu took a provocative glance at Lie Xin. She was trying to win by being stronger in numbers.

Even as Wang Zheng and Achilles had seen much of the world, they were shocked by how brutal these two ladies could get. During the Interstellar expedition era, to encourage people to have children, especially for the elites, the law was crafted. But even till now, this was just in name without much substantial proof as there were very few cases.

However, it was still lethal to bring up this matter. With such an intense atmosphere, Wang Zheng and Achilles had wanted to get away from here as soon as they could.
